  1. Someone had joined Xini, Eris while I was just beginning to cap a point. After he loaded in I noticed his char was just stuck in place bullet jumping and shooting at the wall. Thought maybe he was just testing something but on his screen he was moving around and actually killing things. And he was killing things. Monsters would still attack his char on my screen but didn't appear to do any damage. Then he said he can't go through the door to cap C while I was looking at him just sitting there. /unstuck didn't seem to do anything for him. I COULD reset his position by using wormhole. It would place him where I used the wormhole ability but still stuck, and every time I would use it his position (from his perspective) would get reset again to where I placed it

I have probably experienced this myself (couple times where I couldn't go through doors) but haven't seen it happen to someone else.

Dunno if this is a common or well known issue but thought I'd report it.

  2. I was quickly trying to change something in my loadout in the arsenal after going in the gate and starting to load into plains, didn't finish quick enough and I got stuck on the main aresenal screen where you can equip weapons and warframes. Wasn't able to press esc or do anything except chat, had to force close. I would recommend getting kicked out of that screen or disabling it's use immediately after passing through the gate to prevent something like this.

I know this was my fault, I was asking for something bad to happen by trying to do that during loading. The gate is already iffy enough but eh, science I guess.

  3. I have my matchmaking ping limit set to 100 and very often I still get connected to games that are well over 100 (200-300, even 500 sometimes) but this is by far the worst:

    51mF9r.jpg

1.6k ms... and it consistently stayed above 1k until I just quit. Honestly I don't know what's going on with it, it's been a month or two since I set it to 100ms in the options so I don't know why it is constantly putting me in games that far above it. When I receive invites for squad it tells me what the person's ping is and asks if I still want to join it, so why does it just put me in games with the ping above when I try to do random missions? If it finds a game above the 100ms it should ask if I want to join it (or just not put me in one). I am also in the appropriate region. It just seems pointless to have an option to set a limit if matchmaking doesn't actually respect that limit.

  4. Just did a mission where one person used 4 of the eidolon phylaxis on the toxin, completed that part, grabbed the toxin and started heading out when we received the mission failed notification. The new checkpoint hadn't appeared yet and it LOOKED like it started transitioning to night. Right before we got to extraction the sirens went off, so we failed it maybe a minute before the sirens started. I'm thinking maybe it's because of the transition to night time causing it to fail but I'm not sure honestly.

  5. Best thing to do if you have a host migration is to tell them to abort the mission and retry it. If they don't want to, leave the party and find another one and let them deal with the bug. I've warned a few people after having a host migration to redo it and they didn't want to so I just left. Haven't had it happen to me again but that's just because I've avoided continuing games that had a host migration occur. That's the only thing you can do at this point until it gets fixed.

  6. There is a cooldown of some sort with fishing, generally for me it seems like 2-4 will spawn at one time when you first start, then for maybe a minute nothing, and then again they will start spawning. So if you throw in the bait after you caught that initial spawn, chances are it will be wasted. But then if you wait too long the second wave might spawn normal fish and maybe 1 or 2 of the rare fish from the bait.

It's kind of weird, I honestly just wish the mechanics were made clearer so I know what exactly to do and how to do it. If there is a cooldown, it should be removed imo. Just have them constantly have a chance to spawn in a range of every 5-20 seconds randomly or something and the bait increases would increase the chance that the spawned fish will be the one after the bait.

  7. Try switching regions. Trust me if you're hosting a hunt you will get messages from at least 10 people, you can't get offended if they don't reply, I wouldn't. It's just kind of something you have to understand. I need to message anywhere from 3-5+ people sometimes until I finally get an invite. A bounty would be useful but it will still cause issues with people not being coordinated. You might have all chromas, or support frames, or whatever other weird combination of frames/weapons. It would probably work best with a Quill rank rather than MR locked if they can do that.

And to kind of stay on topic, not really a fan of buying cores with cetus standing. Not entirely opposed to it but there's already so much stuff to buy with cetus standing, not to mention it could allow people to just bypass teralyst hunting entirely which I don't think is a good idea.

  8. It's pretty rough, I honestly don't know if they should scrap the entire focus system and come up with something new or try to rework it again. They really need to sit and think about a very clear direction and focus on how to achieve that AND make it satisfying. I think they did a good job with syndicates despite all the complaining in the beginning, it wasn't that bad. This is pure grind right now for VERY little gain, if any at all. Capping your focus might not even unlock the next level of one skill in the tree, it sucks. The only reasonable way to make progress is to cheese the system to cap your focus every single day, and even when you do that it will still take at least several months just to unbind all the skills and upgrade the capacity to use them. Personally I'm not bothered by that because more than likely I'm just going to choose a very small handful I like and focus (ok I'll stop I promise) on unlocking those rather than something absurd like maxing out every single path or even just ONE path. No thanks. I guess (many?) people want to be able to unlock absolutely everything and use every single waybound skill. I'm fine with picking and choosing the ones I want.

If I didn't use stealth for focus gain, I would literally never touch focus, even less than I did with the previous system. I could play for years and likely still not unlock 1 waybound skill by simply playing the game. I think they missed the mark completely on this rework.

    --

I don't have any suggestions really, but I think there is this obsession in warframe to have everything you can possibly have. So people want to unlock EVERYTHING in the focus system and that's where I think the main problem is. And partially because the game ALLOWS you to unlock everything so obviously people will WANT to unlock everything (most of the math and calculations I see use numbers to unlock every single thing as the main reason for focus 2.0 being horrible). If it was more like traditional games with skills, you can't really max everything. Typically you would have a set amount of points to allocate. This is probably going to be a very unpopular opinion but maybe if the option to unlock everything in the focus system was taken away people wouldn't be so obsessed with it. You have 50 points you choose the path you want to take and how to spend them and that's what your focus (I couldn't) is for the operator. At the same time maybe this goes against all of the freedom that warframe gives you, which is awesome.

  9. It was definitely a pain and it could use some fixing in regards to the AI and pathing. Tbh the defense missions where you're protecting a target seem odd to me. Like, nothing is happening. The guy isn't hacking to extract data, he is seemingly not trying to escape, he's not doing anything, just wandering around. Never in my entire life did I think I would say this, but it would be way more fun if these were escort missions and you have huge waves of enemies coming at you trying to stop you. Kind of like the actual payload escort thing in corpus missions.

To get the guy out of the hallways you can try to switch teleport him (either out of there or keep switch teleporting him somewhere so he can't wander), or ripline if it works on him since Valkyrs are more common in those missions. Better than nothing I guess.

  10. Another one just now. Also had a host migration in the beginning. Not gonna post a screenshot this time but yeah. Even the host leaving doesn't fix it, that puts you in the loop where people constantly connect and disconnect.

    -

And another right after, I was invited to the game while it was going but somehow I ended up as host? Not sure how that happened, but it screwed up the mission. I didn't see the host migration but I'm pretty convinced that it is a major factor in getting stuck in the gate, if not the main one.

  11. (Just saw there was a dedicated subforum for PoE related stuff, sorry)

So I'm stuck in the gate between Cetus and PoE, me and my group did an eidolon hunt. There was a host migration when we first loaded in. After finishing we all went into the gate to go back to cetus and it was just loading perpetually. After about 5-10 minutes one person left, their character model was still in there but name not displayed in the party. Another person left which ended up being the host and now I'm stuck with no loading symbol what-so-ever. There are TONS of people constantly joining and disconnecting every second but never pop up in the gates.

Not sure if I keep the stuff from the mission after aborting so I took a screenshot just in case I can get those sent to me or something. Otherwise, oh well I guess. Friend said it shows me as in the plains on the friend's list.

  12. Looking to sell some rivens here, just pm me or reply with an offer for what you want. The ones that show up leveled are leveled up to max.

Won't take less than 1k plat for Cernos or Daikyu rivens, 500 for vulkar. Just send me an offer for the rest, if it's reasonable I will likely accept it. PM me here or in-game if I'm on, same name.

  13. Taking offers on this Cernos Riven, starting at 600p:

WF Builder stats, and this is just with my crappy build I use:

If you swap out fast hands for vile accel and malignant force for heavy cal you get these stats for charged:

    29936.270     TOTAL DAMAGE
    245379.262   BOW BURST
    41462.978     SUSTAINED DPS

    and these for non-charged:

    11366.516     TOTAL DAMAGE
    11366.516     BURST DPS
    18947.982    SUSTAINED DPS

  14. Haven't gotten a chance to try and duplicate this but I've been running into all sorts of bugs and issues lately where I can't swap weapons, use powers, etc... but anyway.

I was doing a Kuva mission as Valk P and I don't remember if I had Hysteria active but I switched to operator and fell off the edge of the map, when I got placed back on the level the UI was mostly gone and I couldn't switch back into my warframe. I eventually tried to kill myself and noticed I was not receiving any damage, neither was the warframe. I ended up completing the mission this way regardless. I will try to reproduce this if I can when I get some time.

  15. I would only spend plat on item and warframe slots in the beginning for sure. You can earn everything necessary to progress in-game without any plat. Currently almost all of the items in the market (weapons and warframes) are ridiculously overpriced imo, although they do come with a pre-installed catalyst/reactor which doubles the amount of mod points. However, those aren't very expensive and you can get them through events and what not.

Later on when you start doing void missions you can begin to sell prime parts for plat to other players. You can do whatever you want with that plat but slots are the most useful because that will allow you to try out a lot of different warframes and weapons without having to sell your old ones. I went a very long time without buying weapon and warframe slots because I hadn't found any warframe or weapon I liked so I didn't mind selling the old stuff.

Get a sentinel as soon as you can, the Carrier is the most popular by far because it sucks in loot. Great for me since I'm lazy. However, any sentinel is good because they can instantly replenish your shields to full when they break once every 10 or so seconds (their skill is on a cooldown). It makes the game MUCH easier. Don't waste your time with kubrows as a new player, they are mostly credit sinks for higher level players. They require maintenance and are expensive to build as well. Just go with sentinels to start out.

Oh and don't start out with the bow weapon. Almost everyone I've talked to who started out with it said they had a lot of trouble passing the first mastery rank test with it. Buy the blueprint and craft the Karak as that's probably the best newbie friendly rifle.

  16. I'd second only upgrading them to rank 8. I do the same with almost all mods, even common ones like vitality and redirection. It just takes way too much to upgrade them fully and rank 8 is usually more than enough. The gains as you level it higher I don't think are worth it for a vast majority of players. Ranking up mods to 10, especially primed mods, should only be done by people with an excessive amount of r5 cores or nothing else to do. Basically "end game" as boring as that may sound, do it last imo.
