What are the "rewards" promised for completing successive waves; how do these rewards grow?
Random mods or consumables. They don't. They're just randomized from the get-go. They don't get better as you progress in waves.

If you weren't the host, that's why. Blade Storm is violently allergic to any kind of lag, so there's that.
Just to clarify what Reinshiki said, the range is variable. Meaning, the range changes as you attack each enemy. It travels with Ash, so as long as there are enemies around you can chain it. To make this.. make more sense, if Ash is in range of Enemy A and uses Blade Storm, he'll teleport to Enemy A and attack. If Enemy A is in range of Enemy B but out of the original starting point, Ash will still teleport to Enemy B. If Enemy C was out of range of Enemy A but in range of Enemy B then Ash will teleport and attack Enemy C after B. Hopefully that makes more sense.
Basically, Ash can technically have an infinite range provided there are enemies present.

You know, I was actually considering Banshee as my first choice because it says it can go support and offensive, but then I pushed it out of the rankings once I saw its abilities. What makes Banshee a good recommendation?
Sonic Boom can push things away, it's not that bad. Just think of it as utility rather than damage. Sonar is amazing, Banshee will cast it and in an AoE around her enemies will have orange spots lighted up on their bodies. Shooting or hitting the spots will result in massive amounts of damage, I'm talking like 5x damage or along those lines. I don't have Banshee myself, but this is my experience from playing with a dude who does. Silence is meh. Sound Quake has a much much farther range than all the other Ults right now, think of it as roughly double a maxed out Overload/Avalanche/Crush with the maxed out Reach mod. Assuming Sound Quake is also maxed and you're using a maxed Reach. It's super good and has potential to do even more damage than that.

Just saying, Strun has a better potential for damage on the Hek. 10 pellets vs 7 pellets, add in Multishot and nailing all the pellets. Yeah. Damage between the Hek and Strun isn't well-defined enough to be much of a difference, but the Hek's spread is very narrow so you could snipe with the thing.

Hey everyone, as you can notice, I'm completely new to the game (been enjoying it 100%, also loved the quick response from the devs when the dcs started happening).
Good to know. Now all you need to do is just not come back complaining once you hit the harder missions about the game being tough and the game will love you back.
There's one thing I really need help with: Weapons.
I've seen many recommendarions, varying from getting "Fang" for better crit damage in Melee, to buying "Braton" as soon as I can for the better firerate.. It's starting to get confusing, so I come for your help guys.
Just saying, you could do with just saving credits opposed to immediately going for the Fang or Braton.. they really aren't that amazing. More into that later.
I like fast multi-damage melee better than slow heavy-nuke swords.
I would love either, a shotgun or a fast rifle. Some have told me to get Paris, but I don't really like sniping.
I've got no idea about sidearms.
IMO from using all the sidearms in the game to date, the best come down to a toss-up between the Lex, Kraken, and Akboltos. Details later.
In case it is important, I'm using Loki and plan getting either, Ember or Ash.

Loki is a fine frame, my personal favorite. Ember and Ash are rather poor in their current state, but by no means are bad frames.. except maybe Ember. Sorry Ember, I love you, I really do. But your skills suck and I'm too much of a tryhard to play you solely for the flair.
Replies in bold, and now for walls of text.
I say that the Fang and Bratons aren't worth your credits early game because.. they're not super good. The Fangs are build towards spamming normal attacks which is fine, but the thing is. Melee Damage sucks compared to Charge Damage right now. At max, Pressure Point (Melee Damage) is a paltry +48% extra damage. The Fangs do 15x2. So roughly 45 per tap of the Melee button without other mods.. hmm. Not super good. Charge Damage is 65x2. Killing Blow (Charge Damage) at max is +150%. So that amounts to 325 per charge attack. Huh. The reason people say it's so good is because of a few reasons I can think of: 1) These people are enamored with 'OMG DUAL DAGGERS SO COOL OMG 2 SWINGS SO COOL' or 'OMG 3 HITS PER CLICK' (this isn't even right, it's two per press and on the fourth combo swing it's four; 2-2-2-4) 2) 'rofl look at me lawnmowing these grineer' at Lv15 planets. That's... not impressive. Even with the +50% damage to Grineer, it's still not incredible for higher level areas, as a weapon shouldn't have to be fully modded to really be that great.
For the Braton, I'll just say it, Rifles suck, and they're not worth your time. The damage is awful, Rate of Fire was nerfed down for balancing (people couldn't fire as fast as possible due to frame rate issues, understandable), and the mods are trash compared to literally every other weapon class. But if you really want a Rifle, go for the Boltor. Don't waste the money on a Braton. I would go more in-depth with this, but I'm getting lazy. Look through my posts, (make sure to click 'find content' if you do decide to) I've touched on this before. Otherwise, I suggest a Strun.
Lex is pretty much the best sniper rifle in the game. Not technically a rifle, but Pistol mods are pretty crazy good, and it's perfectly accurate when zoomed in. Kraken arguably does more damage because it's 45x2, but it depends on you if you're able to get used to pulling down the recoil enough to take advantage of double headshots. Akboltos are just really good because of the Rate of Fire (macro or otherwise), innate armor piercing, and respectable base damage. Couple that with the pistol mods and you've got a superb weapon, albeit it eats ammo the fastest of the three. Just up to you, the Lex is more Burst-damage oriented, Kraken is the Deeps-Burst hybrid, and the Akboltos are straight-up Deeps (DPS). All are worthy choices.
When it comes down to Melee.. well, if you care that much just look through my posts. I've touched on this many many many times.
For the frames, here is why Ash and Ember aren't super good right now.
Ash's Shuriken while doing really good damage is unpredictable. It almost never is accurate to where you want to aim, so say goodbye to planned headshots. Also, screenshake. Screws up the aim even more. His Smokescreen is the least gimmicky and is fine. Teleport is good, but it'll teleport you to the nearest part of the enemy. This means that if the enemy was facing towards you, you'll teleport into its face (and get... hit). Facing away from you, likewise. You'll end up near the back but you'll probably be in physical contact with the target. Blade Storm doesn't like non-hosts and hates lag. It's also pretty long for an "Ult" and doesn't hit a lot of enemies (5/7/9/12 for the ranks), but does 1000 true damage (meaning it's not affected by damage reduction whatsoever).
Ember's Fireball doesn't know what it wants to be. Damage is too low for a damage ability, the stun is too short to be a stunner ability, and the AoE is too small to be a CC ability. Iuno what else to say. Overheat just sucks all around, the reactive armor (damages enemies when they hit you first) isn't very strong and the bonus +50% armor sucks. Why? Ember has 5 armor. Do the math. Fire Blast is her best skill but it's only 200 damage per tick, and doesn't really do that much compared to what other frames can do. And many make the argument that she's just built for Infested, which is true, but she's just so bad on the other factions isn't not even funny and even on Infested other frames can and will outshine her. World on Fire is probably the worst Ult there is since it's really really unpredictable, the really long cast time, and the fact that you can run around with it for about 2-4 seconds.

Personally, if you want this on a long rifle.
and you have the mods. Try a gorgon, the fire-rate for the first, and don't quote me on this, 5-ish rounds is slow but once it spins up it can dish out some nice DPS. Running a multishot on that with all damage buffs and a rife rate can make it really powerfull.
Or even try just the braton with a mag cap increase mod.
Please no. The Gorgon is awful, it used to be good in U6 but now it's pretty bad. The gun used to be nicknamed the 'Boss Killer/Raper/Rapist/Destroyer/etc' for good reason, but that was when you could stack Multishot and other mods such as that. Now, the rate of fire has been tuned down and it's horribly inaccurate, headshots would be super random and you might as well flail your mouse around the general area of the enemy to get in shots (this is disturbingly effective). Braton on it's own isn't terrible but once you hit even Lv15 mobs you're going to struggle. Bosses? Just wasting bullets. And Clip Size for anything sucks. Period. At max, Rifles and Pistols spend 9 energy for +30% Clip size. Not worth it, especially considering the clip size for most Rifles aren't even that small or high enough to benefit. Same for pistols, but in this case it's too small for any kind of benefit (+3-4 for most pistols); Shotguns at max give you +60% for 7 Energy. Again, not that great for the same reasons.

I'll just plop this down here.
Gram vs Scindo
+Higher base Fire Rate (Swing Speed; also benefits more from Fire Rate mods)
-Reach (About 1/4th or 1/3rd less reach compared to the Scindo)
-Lower base damage (This doesn't matter much since you should be stacking Charge Damage anyway)
Both have the exact same Charge Speed, the only reason that this is debated over is because all the heavy weapons (Amphis included, even though it's.. not really a heavy weapon) have two parts to the Charge attack: the charge up and the swing. The Charge up is self-explanatory, but the second part, the swing, is not affected by Charge Speed and works off of Fire Rate. This is why people believe the Gram to have a faster Charge Speed when in reality it's just the second part being faster. That being said, the only difference between the two (not taking into account speamming normal attacks) is Speed vs Range. That's it. Nothing else.
@Denmax All Charge attacks have innate armor ignore, the Gram/Fragor/Scindo have the exact same charge damage/speed and the Scindo doesn't technically have a passive armor penetration "stat".
In regards to the OP, you shouldn't pick a weapon to compliment a Frame because in all honesty and in practical gameplay, this means absolutely nothing. Nothing. I mean, you could pair a Gram with a Rhino and spam Iron Skin and chop things up but you could do the exact same with say, a Heat Dagger. Rhino as a frame won't be any worse and the two weapons won't perform any worse.
In terms of straight-up Charge Damage, it comes down to the Gram vs Scindo. Again, Speed vs Range.

Just some general information on the Mire.
+600% damage bonus on Leapers/Runners
+140% on Chargers
-77% on Ancients
The damage bonus only applies to normal attacks. Charge will only result in the regular 75 (or higher depending if you have a Killing Blow on it.. which you probably shouldn't).

No, I'm sorry, but as I will confirm and others will also, you do indeed receive the abilities at Rank 0 upon crafting and claiming a new Warframe.

First question does anyone know what 100% Multishot on kraken actually does. I dont have it there yet but im woundering does it fire 4 bullets or just 3?

Also on Amphis if you have fire ice and electric does all that elemental dmg proc on the jump attack and on normal hits.
Normal hits yes. Jump Attack yes, but you won't get the visual effect procced from the Fire/Ice on the Jump Attack. The damage will be there though.
Also what does AP dmg do on this like Amphis and Paris bc i keep reading post and they all say different things.
It's just extra damage, like any other elemental.

Increases the effective range of the stun AoE and increases the minimum range required for the Wyrm to use the ability.
Because we're in a Beta. It's up to you to be more resourceful and try to help yourself. This includes checking out the Wiki and looking around the forums; I know I have personally answered this 2-3 times now. Search function is your friend, so use it.

Chill, the Devs are just trying to protect us from some dude attacking the servers. Just hang on until the DDoS is over, or whenever the Devs can stabilize everything to normal again.

Just chill, 7.7.1 and 7.7.2 are notoriously buggy/laggy. We all know the Devs are working super hard to fix this, so just relax until it is. Today is just worse than usual for connection as a whole.

It accelerates the rate at which your shields regen. Not the delay before they start to though. It's really not that noticeable even at max (100% and espcially with lag it's even harder to see), not worth skimping over your Vitality. Disruptors so much as tap you and you're kind of boned without Vitality. Though I find that rolling to avoid the tentacle thing will usually end up in just myself getting knocked down/back without the drain of shields or energy. This doesn't happen 100% but it seems consistent enough for me to rely on.

Also, Focus is not a must but rather you-should-have-this-or-you'll-regret-it-big-time. And Teleport is your preference but save those points for better things. Smokescreen is up to you, I use it for stun, you might want the invis.

You guys do know how Crit chance works right now.. don't you? It's bugged/not working properly and procs off of the weapon's base crit multiplied by the mod modifier (ie weapon crit: 10% example) x (Mod Crit Modifier 30% (max)) = 13.3% Crit chance. For DAMAGE, it's (Weapon Base Crit Damage Multiplier) + (Mod Multiplier).

A. Crit Damage works as it should. Guns don't have a special crit damage modifier unless it is part of a feature.

I believe it's based off of Charge Damage? I want to say about 50% but there is no basis for this and I have done zero testing. This is just off of memory from numbers I remember.
