  1. Did your kubrow degenerate or glow at any point? asking cause its been almost 24 hours if not longer and i see no changes at all with mine, health full, loyality full, nothing.

mine degraded to 80% and I used a stabalizer on it. but no glow etc. i have a hunch that i have not been able to test yet... have you gotten the message below yet?

    Dr. Intehb,

You have had the Orokin Incubator Segment for months and still you've produced nothing by genetic rejects. You promised me a Kubrow worthy of an Orokin prince not a misshapen ball of hair and teeth.

At great expense, I have procured another batch of eggs from the forests of Earth. They will reach your facility on Elara shortly. Do not waste these as you did the last ones.

I will have my Kubrow of my own. If you are not up to the task I will find someone who is.

  2. no i didnt, i bought the starter pack right after i realised how to get the segment, i never got any "oh you have an egg" message, and i rushed it so the "oh it hatched" seemed like a natural thing to say.

did you happen to run Elara after you got this? just wondering it might be a lead to how to make it grow if the quest is still active.

edit: have not had a chance to test if this helps move the quest along.

  3. Hello everyone!

(Skip this bit if you're too lazy to read this.)

Let me tell you a little story...

So, a couple o' weeks ago DE showed off these awesome claw animations, which got me hyped in an instant. Two weeks later, while farming for XP as usual, a wild redtext appears in the chat window, introducing the VENKA, Tenno claw melee weapon!

Four days later (four because at the moment of release no officers were online in our clan), Venka finished researching, and I went to get it and build it. The next day, I tried it out.

    I was disappointed.

    Venka needs a serious buff.

    (Actual feedback starts here!)

    Why should it be buffed?

    1. It's a clantech weapon with a requirement of a Forma and a mastery rank of 7. You would expect something more powerful, don't you agree?

    2. It doesn't feel like a pair of claws. While I think that Malicious Raptor is a f@#ing awesome stance, and it does make the weapon a bit faster due to multihits in combos, it is still too slow. Claws are supposed to make you feel like a crazed psycho, allow you to tear everything to shreds.

    How should it be buffed?

    Solution №1:

    1. As stated above, speed increase. This weapon is too slow for the amount of damage it does. My suggestion would be to crank the speed up to 1.2, it will make it fast in a non-ridiculous way, as it should be.

    2. Crit chance increase. This will flow nicely with the weapon's suggested attack speed and it's low damage. It will also make Berserker a perfect fit for this weapon - you will actually feel berserk!

    3. Crit multiplier increase to encourage crit builds.

These changes will allow Venka to compete with the king of crits, Dual Ichor, which, by the way, is also a clantech weapon.

    Solution №2:

Like Nikana, let us give our Venkas (Venkae? Venki?) Dragon love. Boost the damage, crit chance, crit multiplier, speed, aka make it a better weapon overall. I would gladly run around showing off my badass Dragon Venka.

Please leave feedback about my feedback (wut). Thanks for taking your time to read this!

    Yes Yes and Yes.

  4. I can agree with getting a common stance for your weapon upon lvl 15.

I could go for obtaining the rare stance mod after an arduous quest of killing 1000 enemies of a certain type.

I could not go for the way it is now. It sucks the will to play out of the game with the feeling of no matter how long I play, the thing I want is forever outside of my grasp unless magic happens.

    Suggest a Quest: Dev Quest!

Dev starts a new account. Every time the dev get s a new stance, they have to stop their progression and play the mission they got that stance from until they can level the stance to max through duplicates.

If this seems unreasonable, unfair, or cruel to force someone to do this, perhaps it indicates a problem?

It would be awesome if once we level a weapon to a set rank (15-30) we discover a lead for a stance then just have to kill (like you said) a set number of enemies. that would help the people that farm and farm and farm but never get the drop.

  5. I like to think about stance mods as of manuals of old techniques - you can try to learn a weapon by your own but without knowledge contained in stance mods you can't truly master it. Giving them away is easier way  but it would brake that feel.

I get were you are coming from just thought it would be a nice thing to add from all the grinding people do to try and get one mod. i am just trying to come up with a way to balance the feel of "learning" and the grind I have friends that have been trying to get one stance or another from when 2.0 came out. that is why i thought of the level block once you "master" or max out the rank you would learn the stance. as with most martial arts weapons even when you start using it you settle in to a "stance" of one kind or another that is refined as you use the weapon and you "learn" what  feels "right".

  6. I had this strange idea so stay with me for a little bit.

we all have had a hard time getting one stance or another or that one that will just never drop.

so here is my idea what if instead of being a drop it was given to you on crafting, or when the weapon reached a set rank say 15 or 30.

    what do you all think?

  7. i play mostly defense, and exterminate, I like both, so i cant decide which one to choose

ok depending on your rank you might like these or you might not but here some some of my recommendations.

    Shotguns~

     Boar prime~ auto + proc

     Drakgoon~ charged

     Phage~ continuous fire + charged

    Rifles~

Boltor~ bolt type rounds + flight time

      Dera~ pin point fire

I found these weapons to be kinda fun to use and can help narrow down what kind of style you like.

let me know if this helps and if you have any questions please ask we are all here to help each other out.

  8.
