  1. I just can't see how people end up needed multiple potatoes on one frame to make it good. Usually I can get a relatively maximized loadout with just 1, sometimes two forma.

That being said, yes, knowing that all frames will eventually get a prime variant, some earlier than others, I typically wait to put something like an exilus or more than 1 forma on it until the prime variant comes out, then I sell the original.

Ex. Nova, Loki, Frost, Excalibur. Excalibur Prime was one of my first frames so I junked the originial Excaliber after I got it to lvl 30.

  2. IMO each bow has their own uses. You can't rely upon everyone always having CP unless you're playing with a set team. Honestly there isn't enough end game to need really outlandish dmg figures so if you just stick to your corrosponding dmg type and correct elemental advantages for the faction you're playing agiasnt then you should be fine and your dmg should be decently high given you have all the necessary mods equipped.
Having said that, I prefer the Paris Prime only because Armored targets are annoying and I havn't had a problem with it not doing enough dmg to one shot everything as of yet. The fire rate on the Rakta Cernos is freaking amazing though.

  3. From what i've seen/read, i'm under the impression its just an Earth Bender frame. IDK when I first heard I was fearful it was just going to be another Valkyr 2.0, while hoping it was like a Lee Sin character with long swooping kicks that I can use to lunge across rooms, and rapid fire punches. We can only wait I guess...

Dat Saryn rework though, bout time <3

  4. So what the hell do you want to do, be LESS powerful?

I really don't follow your logic here. At least the "remove Serration and boost all primary weapons by 145%" crowd makes some sort of basic sense.

I mean another way is they could either 1) make new weapon releases more powerful over time, or 2) Buff all the existing weapons to make them all ,more or less, relevant but for different things.

  5. No you are wrong, we are dead serious.

I love my event dual stat element mods, yet they are in all my builds, they do not offer me nothing except being forced to equip them or choose to fail higher level missions, and be a constant wimp.

When those mods are all removed, we can have elemental damage being use in a strategic way, or in a utility way, instead of the linear idiotic system of mods being for upgrading stats.

Which is the only, ONLY strategy this mod system offers us, strategy 1 add power, strategy 2 add power, strategy 3 add power, etc etc

I agree. Thats why, and I've said this in the past, I was more a fan of Utilities and Perks rather than Mods, or at least the way they are implemented now. I don't mind the idea of each gun have its own specific set of perks that come unlocked on the gun such as innate elemental dmg (i.e torrid, etc), innate factional advantages(i.e Impact, slash, puncture), noice, etc. These types of perks should be unchangable on a weapon, while there should be unlockable/reconfigureable perks such as ammo types, multi-shot, accuracy, fire speed, etc. Stuff that you can interchange, maximize, and use to make your weapons have a certain flavor of their own. It's like mod cards but it's different in that you aren't limited by a mod capacity, and that you have to unlock perks by doing certain things or crafting certain items.

  6. Why would we need to reforma our weapons agian? I can understand some people may want to put ammo mods on to compensate for their Multi-shot mods, but honestly if I was going to take, for example Split Chamber off, I would just put one of my other V-Elemental mods there and put on Hammer Shot or something instead. Pretty sure people have plently of V-mods in their builds. Idk

  7. What if, instead of Elemental mods, which some people argue are part of this "mandatory mod" category that take up 2-4 spots on a weapon, we have changeable ammunition types instead. Remember how in like Mass Effect where you can just change out your ammunition types depending on what missions you were running, why can't we just do that? I think that could be a reasonable solution.

With regards to Multi-shots, they said they would re balance ammunition, so hopefully I don't see why it's such a big deal that people are so worried. It can't be as bad as when they nerfed stamina to the point where the game was unplayable and coptering was a nightmare, and even then they changed it almost immediately.

  8. My question is that if they, hypothetically speaking, resort to making people have to stop using Multi-Shot, and pure dmg mods like serration, how will would "end game" work. Just from the way dmg works on weapons now, if serration weren't there it would gimp elemental dmg greatly. They would have to do things like increasing elemental weaknesses massively, making procs more realistic, Or just simply making weapons stronger in general, but that's outrageous.

I wouldn't mind if if Multi-Shot consumed more ammunition.. I mean think about it, spawning extra shots out of no where is very unrealistic, plus using more ammunition only really hurts weapons with low ammunition in the first place. If people actually tried to aim with their Somas and their Paris Primes they wouldn't waste so much ammunition.

  9. Whatever happens, I just really hope they don't try to slow the game down.

When they nerfed the Stamina before, it was a nightmare and they almost immediately had to unnerf it.
I mean, imo, if we are supposed to be space ninjas, the game should be as fast paced as possible, so fast parkour and melee combos that allow you to cover ground quickly would be dope af. They can take away coptering, but just do parkour in a way that it is actually practical and allows you to cover ground instead of just mindlessly jumping around for no reason.
