  1. Love the idea of the catch-up mechanic; helps those of us who can't play the game for a week or two, and avoids the burnout from having to log in just to complete the challenges. However. New or low lever players are essentially locked out of this system whenever they can't complete the elite missions - which arguably should be most weeks since elite missions are intended for more veteran players. Take this week as an example with the tridolon hunt; no way to recover any missed challenges for anyone not sufficiently geared to take on this challenge.

    Solution: recover the missed dailies when the dailies are completed; recover the normal weekly when all those are completed for the week; recover the elites when the elites are completed.

    This would allow access to the challenges recovery mechanics to everyone each at their own level of experience/gear. And, I venture to say, would be helpful for vets too as there wont be as many newbies trying content clearly not meant for them.

  2. I 100% agree with you! When I started out, it was after watching several YouTube videos. I had seen that people were crafting weapons, so I knew it was possible. Still, it toked me several gaming sessions to finally figure out how to buy the blueprints. The information out there was: "buy the blueprint from the market" but on the market screen all I could see were the Platinum prices ...

    The Arsenal screen I find less problematic, but the presentation on the market screen is atrocious. I know DE doesn't want to con anyone into buying a Braton, but I bet that's happening right about now.

    (Something else that took me forever to figure out was how to insert the stupid stars in the Ayatan sculptures ... don't get me started lol)

  3. I have only played the regular onslaught so far, so my feedback will only relate to that. Also, I'm not a veteran with everything under the sun, but I'm not exactly new either (over 700 hours played). Here is what I think:

    The rewards are decent. Relics are always a nice reward because ultimately who doesn't need more prime stuff. Endo is also pretty cool, even if the chance of getting it is not really high and the amount kind of low.

    The amount of focus is laughable. I was really hoping this mode might be a good alternative to the typical focus farming methods, which are pretty boring. But going 11 zones (over 20 mins) to get about 40K focus is simply ridiculous. Granted, I was playing without a booster and not fully optimized, but the spawn rate and location of the enemies are too random to make those 45 secs really count and the focus multiplier remains too low.

    I lag horribly every time the portal is about to spawn. Rest of the mission is fine, but as soon as the portal spawns everything freezes.

    The host leaving is a huge issue. You get trapped in a never ending host migration loop and you loose everything.

    The randomness in spawn rate and location really affects the enjoyment of this mode, especially in higher zones when efficiency drops quickly. Failing simply because there are no enemies around to keep efficiency up really sucks.

    All in all, I find the mode enjoyable - after all I really like exterminate missions and this is just more of that.

  4. I would like to see both the option of buying single frame packs (for people who have played a long time and may already have a lot of the items) as well as a slightly discounted bundle (for newer players).

    Given that tennogen items cost about USD 6, I would price the single frame packs around USD 15-20 (depending on whether they also contain other things like boosters etc) and USD 25-35 for the bundle.

    P.S. Thanks for asking for our feedback on this!

  5. *Edit*   Latest update seem to have fixed this for me.

    The problem persists for me too. I 100% cannot do bounties with a group. I always get stuck in an endless loading screen. I am being matched with other players (I see them joining/leaving the party), but I have no idea if they ever make it inside.

    I can enter/exit the plains fine when going solo by the way.

    There seem to be 2 distinct conversations here (but both important):

    1. I disapprove because performance issues.
    2. I disapprove because I don't want to run bounties.

    #1 is something we're continuously working on and hope to improve.
    #2 is more subjective. I've read a few comments about feeling Plains burnout, which is understandable considering our focus lately. We are looking at some quality-of-life improvements, like lowering armored vault bounty timers

    Performance issues seem to be particularly bad today. I have a beefy PC and generally have little problems running bounties - today: game crashed twice; I was stuck on the loading screen in/out of the plains four times; and the bounties were almost unplayable. I am sure you are all hard at work and things will improve, but I feel bad for people who experience this all the time.

    Enjoyment issues certainly have something to do with Plains burnout, but there is more. My problems with bounties in general are:

    1. half the bounty is spent traversing the map. Stages should be close together (two-three hundred meters not 1K+);
    2. there should be an extraction point like in regular missions. This would prevent people from leaving party as soon as the bounty is over leaving others stuck in loading screens as hosting is transferred;
    3. bounties are very similar to one another which makes for a really monotonous gameplay after a few runs thus making extensive farming absolutely miserable.

    As for the unvaulted relics other things to consider are:

    1. bounties are not suitable for new players. The recent MR lock was a good decision as new players have no business doing but a couple of the early bounties. But this will now lock them out of the possibility to acquire the relics;
    2. all relics should be available at all times. If bounty 2 gives Lith relics, then all "new" Lith relics should be in the pool not just one.
    3. relics should drop from all bounty stages. I mean, seriously; you really don't anticipate people will start running just stage one and then rinse-repeat? How infuriating will that be for people who actually want to do the bounty?

    The Void Fog and Weird Lighting are in-game since before PoE, you didn't notice it as you were playing with higher settings before, the update made these already in-void effects easier to see with higher settings with the PoE update.

    I obviously can't confirm this as I was playing on high settings before PoE and am playing on high settings now. Whether it's an old bug or not, it is now much worse then before and I hope it gets looked at.

    Also, just to clarify, it wasn't PoE per se. There were two subsequent updates that brought "fixes" to the lighting in the planes. The effect shown in the screenshots was the unintended (I hope!) consequence of those updates.

  8. After PoE launched there were two updates that tweaked lighting. Since then, the lighting in the Void has been horrible. Everything is extremely bright and it looks like there is a persistent fog. The problem is worse in areas of wide open space. I find it really hard to play in there now (it's painfully bright), plus it totally ruins the beautifully designed tile sets in there. I have added a picture to demonstrate.

    P.S: Apologies if this is not the right place or if a report has already been made; I didn't see one.
