    The Great Architect

     

    You must have completed The War Within and unlocked Sedna before you can play this quest.

    This quest’s reward is a frame named Thales (click here)

    The quest begins with a message from Cephalon Simaris :

     

     “I intercepted a grineer transmission Tenno, they have found a document about the Great Plague. The location of one of our oldest weapon against the Infestation. They must not get its plans, if they obtained them this knowledge would be lost forever.

     

     Tenno, you must capture the keeper of those plans. Or else we might not be able to fight when the Infestation will strike again.”

     

    ------------------------------

     

    Mission 1 : Ariel (Uranus) level 25-27

     

     First you have to capture a Grineer target. When the target is captured you’ll receive a message from simaris :

     

     “Good, now you’ll need to extract the coordinates of the different places were the parts of its weapon are hidden.”

     

     After this the mission turns into a Spy mission, requiring all the data extracted to succeed. If a data is lost the mission fails. (the data security is lower than average on this mission)

     

     The reward for this mission is Thales’s Blueprint

     

     When you’re back in your ship Ordis indicates the next mission’s location.

     

     “These geographic datas seem to indicate a location on Sedna. An observatory is also mentioned. It must be in ruins now, after all this time abandoned.”

     

    ------------------------------

     

    Mission 2 : Hydron (Sedna) level 27-29

     

     You have to defend an energy core in a ruiny map. Some parts are falling apart during the battle, modifying the level design. After 10 waves the ruins completely fall apart and a tower comes out from the ground. The tower is full of turrets and orokin drones.

     The players have now to climb the tower to get Thales’s neuroptics blueprint and exit the mission.

     

     When back on the ship Ordis will indicate the location of the next mission.

     

     “It looks like this Thales has built many bastions against the Infestation. The world would surely have looked different without him. The next coordinates indicates a certain lighthouse on Jupiter. At least we are sure that the grineers will never risk themselves on this planet.”

     

    ------------------------------

     

    Mission 3 : Cameria (Jupiter) level 27-29

     

     In this survival mission you have to survive 15 minutes on a drifting abandoned floating bridge. The map is really big but quite flat and doesn’t offer many covers. This bridge is controlled by the Infestation and a juggernaut will spawn after 10 minutes.

     

     After the 15 minutes the brigde will crash  against a floating lighthouse. You’ll have to hack a console to activate the lighthouse and get Thales’s systems blueprints.

     

     When back on the ship Ordis will indicate the location of the next mission.

     

     “That’s incredible operator, inside the two towers was hidden the missing numbers on the weapon location. I hope it withstood all this time.”

     

     ------------------------------

     

    Mission 4 Gaia (Earth) level 30-35

     

     The goal of this mission is to find the entrance of the pyramid, it has no waypoint but you can see a light column right above it when looking at the sky.

     

     When the pyramid is found an “extraction” waypoint will appear on it. When all the players are at the entrance a cinematic stars, showing the pyramid coming out of the ground and shooting a beam of light to the two others ruins. The lighthouse and the observatory shoot a beam of light toward the pyramid and each other, making a light triangle.

     After this the mission ends and the player gets back to his ship with the Thales’s chassis blueprint. Ordis calls him :

     

     “What is it ? Nothing in the plans mentioned this. Did we do an error ? No that’s impossible. Hum, i guess we don’t have the full plans yet. Operator i’m sorry but i will need more time to find the other locations.”

    Appearance : Has a tiny crossbow on his left wrist and a pyramid shaped helmet.

    Passive : Ennemies hit by Thales’s abilities get 15% more damages from Thales’s allies. (non-effective on bosses)

    Power 1 : Magnetic Field

     

    Costs 35 energy

     

    Shoots an arrow with the crossbow  that deploys a tiny turret that can pulse 6/8/10/15 times dealing 80/100/150/200 magnetic damages with 30% status chance to nearby enemies and drawing them toward the turret. If an enemy is directly hit by the arrow he can be knocked off.

     

    Augment : Heavy field

    Pulses have 33/66/100% chances to knock enemies off.

     

    Damages are affected by power strength, number of pulse is affected by power duration.

    Power 2 : Radiation Plate

     

    Costs 50 energy

     

    Shoots an arrow that deploys a large square trap that lasts 20/25/30/35 seconds, enemies that walk on the trap have 40/50/60/70% radiation status chances. If an enemy is directly hit by the arrow he can be knocked off.

     

    Augment : Repelling plate

    Enemies non-affected by the status have 25/50/75% chances to be repelled.

     

    Plate size is affected by power range, plate duration is affected by power duration.

    Power 3 : Tactical Traps

     

    Costs 50 energy

     

    You can use 1/2/3/4 different types of traps depending on the rank of your frame, press briefly to switch traps and hold down to use the trap.

     

    • Trap 1 : Explosive pannel

     

    Place a plate of explosives that will explode when an enemy walks in front of it or when shot. Explosion deals 400/500/600/800 explosive damages with 66% status chances.

     

    Augment : Mindblown

    Enemies hit by the explosion have 20/40/60% to walk toward other traps.

     

    • Trap 2 : Mirror decoy

     

    Shoots an arrow that deploys a target that lasts 6/10/14 seconds. The nearby enemies will begin shoot the target. When the target disappears it deals to each enemy that shot it 50/100/150% of the total amount of the absorbed damages. If an enemy is directly hit by the arrow he can be knocked off.

     

    Augment : Radial decoy

    Enemies hit by the trap have 20/40/60% radiation status chances.

     

    Duration is affected by power duration, damages are affected by power strength.

     

    • Trap 3 : Plague dart

     

    Shoots an arrow that deploys a tiny turret that will shoot a nearby enemy dealing 300/600 viral damages with 45/90% chances of proc. The turret disappears after the dart is shot. If an enemy is directly hit by the arrow he can be knocked off.

     

    Augment : Pandemic trap

    After the hit enemy dies the status has 20/40/60% chances to apply to nearby enemies.

     

    • Trap 4 : Deployable barrier

     

    Creates a magnetic barrier that lasts 15 seconds, stopping enemy projectiles. The allies can shoot through it, dealing 15% of bonus magnetic damages.

     

    Augment : Solid magnetic

    Enemies has 25/50/75% chances to be knocked off or repelled if they walk in the barrier.

     

    Barrier duration is affected by power duration.

    Power 4 : Gravity field

    Costs 100 energy

    Shoots an arrow that creates a gravitational field that knocks off enemies around in a 4/6/8/10 meters radius and keeps them still for 5/7/9/12 seconds. They get small impact damages.

     

    Augment : Event Horizon

    Enemies hit by the gravitational field have 22/44/66% chances to have a 60% armor debuff and be blinded for 8 seconds after the field ends.

     

    Field size is affected by power range, field duration is affected by power duration.

    • Magnetic and radiation effects has 66% of chances to not proc on this warframe.

    Power 1 : Charged laser

    • Costs 25 energy
    • Shoots a laser that pierces through enemies and can ricochet against walls 3/4/5/6 times, dealing 100/150/200/300 heat damage with a 5/5/10/15% chances to proc ignite status.

    • Augment : Colored radiations
    • Changes the element of the damages regarding to your warframe’s energy color. Gives 25/50/75% more chances for the status to proc.

    Power 2 : Photon ball

    • Costs 50 energy
    • Throws a light grenade that explodes at contact, dealing 150/250/350/500 magnetic damages to all enemies within a 4/6/8/12 meters radius with a 100% chances to blind them
    • Affected by power strength and range

     

    • Augment : Blackhole ball
    • Affected enemies are drawn towards the explosion point, each blinded enemy restores 5/10/15 energy to allies within the range of the explosion. (The amount of energy is affected by power strength)

    Power 3 : Infrared shift

    • Costs 50 energy
    • Epsilon becomes invisible to all enemy (except robots and drones) for 3/5/7/8 seconds. Using a weapon or running out of energy ends the effect but using an ability doesn’t make enemies notice your presence.
    • Affected by power duration

     

    • Augment : Infravision
    • The user can see enemies through walls in a radius of 10/20/30 meters.

    Power 4 : Star discharge

    • Costs 5 energy per second
    • Epsilon converts his energy into pure light that burns enemies, dealing 750/900/1000/1200 heat damages per second with a damage falloff of 50 damages per meter. Epsilon can’t move while using that power. Each enemy has 10/15/20/25% status chance
    • Power strength affects damages, power range reduces the damage falloff. Not affected by power efficiency.

     

    • Augment : Pulsar force
    • The damage falloff is reduced by 50/75/100%, the damages just fall to 0 after the range where they would have normally.
  4. Hi everyone, i just thought about a new warframe concept based on rotation that might be interesting so i'm posting it here. Tell me what you are your thoughts about this, hope you'll enjoy it :D (ps : i'm french so sorry for my broken english)

    • Passive : The spinning forces prenvent him from getting knock down

     

    Skills :

    1. Spinning bullet

    • Costs 25 energy

    • Shot a linear projectile that explodes after hitting anything or if the player presses the button a second time. It makes exploding damages and draw the enemies around to the center of the explosion. 

    • Affected by ability range and strength

    • While casting the ability there is a short time when the player cannot shoot or use melee attack. During this time we can see Gyros shooting the bullet with his fingers.

     

    1. Spin attraction

    • Costs 50 energy

    • Creates a spinning pulse that pulls all enemies within the range to melee, can knock enemies down. The nearest enemies start spinning, preventing them to fight, spinning deals heavy magnetic damages to robots and drones.

    • Affected by ability range, duration and strength

     

    1. Balanced Rotation

    • Costs 75 energy

    • For a few instants the damages to the player’s shields are converted into energy and the consumed energy is converted into bonus damage for your main weapon at the end of the effect. The enemies hit by your bullets with the bonus damage can start spinning.

    • Affected by ability duration

     

    1. Inverted siphon

    • Costs 100 energy

    • Throws a grenade that explodes when hits the ground or an enemy, dealing huge explosive damages. Creates a zone that repulses enemies and make them spin. This zone keeps being active for a few seconds after the explosion. Enemies that enter the zone after the explosion will get magnetic damages and repulsed.

    • Affected by ability range, duration and strength
