  1. From what I've seen of Melee 3.0, it looks great! Especially the aerial combos. However, I'm pretty sure that at the state that we are in, nobody is going to use them considering that you can pretty much kill any aerial enemy in one hit. What would be cool is if you guys add an aerial launcher that can launch ground enemies up in the air Devil May Cry style as a bit of reliable CC. I dunno, you could make it a back combo or a heavy attack specific to impact weapons or something .

    I'll be like:

    SLASH SLASH SLASH! (standard E spam)

    *sees enemy preparing attack*

    BLAM! (using launcher to interrupt its attack)

    SLASH SLASH SLASH! (in air)

    BOOM! (finish with ground slam to take care of ground mobs)

     

    Also, I keep noticing that Rebecca seems to be getting knocked down a lot. This is particularly glaring when she tries to do the duel dagger block / approach combo and still gets knocked down despite being in mid air animation. Can we make the block combo have knockdown immunity for a split second during the approach? This way, if you time your attacks right, you can dash through shockwaves with style. 

    I'll be like:

    SLASH SLASH SLASH! (standard E spam)

    *sees enemy launching a shockwave* 

    WOOoosh-BAM! (using block combo to approach the shockwave mob to smash it in the face while dashing over its shock wave)

    SLASH SLASH SLASH! (standard E spam to finish it off)

     

    Might be cool.

  2. If you hold down W while walking torward the Codex and press X, you get stuck walking foward. If you exit the Codex menu you keep walking automatically. If you press escape, you start spinning uncontrollably.
