  1. During the quest, I went to the first white circle on the mini map, touched the glowing hand coming out of the ground, Nakak started her dialogue, I was able to touch the same glowing hand again and did and then the next circle didn't show up. I don't think I can restart the quest or go to the next location, keeping me from getting the blueprint.

Is there a way to repeat the quest?

I DIDN'T WANT TO BREAK IT I PROMISE!

Why do you close your cataclysm after you use rift surge? Enemies banish themselves back to the rift so im confused to why you close it

I do it so I get the radial banish after Rift Surge and so I'm flamed for Stasis being an annoyance.

I just played a match and i could do a finishing attack on enemies who were under stasis. I don't know if it was a stealth finisher though. Probably not.

It isn't a stealth finisher. When you close Cataclysm while Rift Surged enemies are in it, they are staggered and are open to ground finishers.

  3. I'm trying to find out the best way to use Limbo's abilities.

First, I dash into the rift to avoid all incoming damage.

I cast Stasis to start the Stasis buff.

I cast Cataclysm on a group of enemies.

I cast Rift Surge on all enemies in the rift.

I close Cataclysm and dash back into the rift to avoid damage.

When I close Cataclysm, Rift Surged enemies stay in the rift and are still affected by Stasis so they are free to be damaged but aren't affected by Rift Surge anymore so I could cast Rift Surge on them again after I dash back in to get the Rift Torrent buff.

I max efficiency with level 4 Fleeting Expertise and level 4 Streamline, Transient Fortitude, Primed Continuity, Primed Flow, Quick Thinking, Stretch, Rift Torrent and Energy Siphon.

Does Rift Torrent affect the amount of damage Cataclysm does?

How do you optimally use Limbo's abilities?

    What mods do you run?

Are enemies who are under Stasis open for finisher attacks? Is it a stealth finisher?

    Thanks!

  4. Nekros/Trinity + Frost + Mag + [Excal, Equinox, Inaros, Mesa + Muzzle Flash, Mesa, Oberon, Wukong]

Everyone brings tons of energy restores, a dagger with Covert Lethality, a weapon that can cut enemy bodies into pieces.

Nekros for Desecrate or Tirnity for Energy and Heals, Frost for Bubble, Mag for Pull, anyone with a blind. I like Inaros because Desiccation can be recast, has a really quick animation especially with natural talent, a pretty good range, doesn't need enemies around like Equinox, doesn't have a cooldown like Excal, doesn't need a long channel like Mirage, doesn't depend on the ability to switch from person to person like Mesa, doesn't depend on the enemies who weren't in the radius to be blinded by those who survived the cast like Oberon, and has a better range than Wukong.

This was inspired by a long run from a stream I watched a while ago. They went for 5 hours. They had Frost, Nekros, Mag, Banshee with 4 Corrosive Projections. They went for 5 + hours.

    Cheers

  5. Then maybe just reset the rank, keep all your stuff, get the 10% bonus to mods and keep playing as normal. Some weapons are mastery rank locked anyway so that works fine. It would just be something else to do.

For people who have invested a lot of time and money into this game, this may not be the best option but we can tweak what you can keep after you reset and the reward for resetting.

What would you want as a reward for New Game Plus?

  6. What I would like to see is a new game plus option. If you make it to the max rank and complete the rank 30 test being the final boss, then you reset your account and start fresh.

You would have to start over from rank 1, you would have to go through the star chart again, get all your weapons again, and your warframes but each time you forma something, you're given a 10% bonus increase to the mod with the matching polarity which stacks each time you reset. So if you would manage to reset 10 times, that's double the mod's power if forma'd.

I would also like to see a planet that is designed for people who have reset. One level would be for those who have reset once. Another for twice, and so on. Those levels would have enemies that are level 100+, then 150+ and so on.

For people who have invested a lot of time and money into this game, this may not be the best option but we can tweak what you can keep after you reset and the reward for resetting.

Is new game plus a good idea?

How can DE keep veteran players from leaving?

What keeps you motivated to continue playing?

    Cheers

  7. I was doing some testing and number crunching and discovered how much damage you could do with her abilities plus the utility that they offer and I'm quite impressed. Unfortunately it doesn't scale well without armor reduction but that's the price to pay.

For me, there are three builds that I will like to play with for Titania.

    Spoiler

Spellbind and Lantern Strength Build: http://goo.gl/V7XFsw

    Duration and Range Build: http://goo.gl/zSypG5

    Razorwing Build: http://goo.gl/q5GHk2

    Max Possible Damage: http://goo.gl/PL5R3b

Not the most optimized builds but it get's the idea across. I'm poor and don't have exilus or drift mods yet so change the builds.

She has a nice mix of damage and utility in her kit. Her 1 sets up a lot of abilities and can be recasted to stun more enemies. Her 2 is meh to me but I haven't really used it that much yet. Her 3 on paper is just crazy with damage and utility. Her 4 is a very good and unique toggle like ability like Excalibur, Valkyr, Ivara, and Wukong's.

What builds would you use on Titania?

How could I improve my builds?

What augments would compliment her? I think if there was an augment that granted healing on Lantern, it would be absurdly strong but would make sense because she feels like she wants to be a support frame but lacks the giving-health/energy-rescources that other support like frames do like Nekros and Trinity.

Maybe she's meant to be this really weird hybrid damage and CC frame.

    Cheers

  8. For lack of a better name, I'll call her Vayne.

    Passive: Swift Death

On roll, Vayne is granted invisibility during the animation of the roll and for one second afterwords. This has a two second cooldown after being invisible. Unaffected by duration.

Vayne can reload during any animation caused by the player. If affected by an enemy status that would break animation then the reload is canceled. On reload, the circle in the center of the reticle has a mark that if you press reload again if within the mark, your next magazine is granted % current health damage to the target divided by the number of bullets in the magazine.

    First ability: Condemn

Enemies are knocked back in a cone in front of her. If enemies hit a part of the environment they are stunned. Enemies aren't ragdolled unless stunned against a wall. Affected by range and damage.

    Second ability: Smoke Grenade

Vayne throws a smoke screen grenade that blinds and slows any enemies within the radius. Enemies can still move. Affected by range and duration

    Third ability: Marked for Death

Vayne marks her target. Any and all damage inflicted to the target from any source is amplified and posted at the bottom of the screen like Nyx's damage for Absorb for a few seconds. If the target dies or the duration is complete, the mark explodes dealing damage to all enemies within the radius.

    Fourth ability: Time for Reckoning

Vayne pulls her dual pistols, Luara Croft style. Holding down the trigger automatically shoots but needs to be aimed. Needs to be reloaded. Swift Death applies to the reload. Each shot has innate punch through. Each shot heals her for either a flat amount. Damage is increased by either primary or secondary weapon mods (not sure which would be better; probably secondary because dual pistols are a secondary but ehh). Any targets stunned by Condemn or shot by her pistols are Marked for Death. During bullet jump, any enemies within a cone of her line of sight have their movement and fire rate slowed (pseudo bullet time). It's a toggle ability, drain affected by duration and efficiency, damage by strength, cone length during bullet time affected by range.

Or just put Vayne in Warframe. This was fun.

    Cheers

  9. I just watched Rob from AGGP's video about Zephyr and it got me thinking about her and a bunch of other frames who's abilities are kinda meh and don't function as well as they could or don't fit the identity of the frame that they are trying to portray.

    Spoiler

" ' To me, her 1 feels a little clunky. It is easily countered by small spaces. I almost feel like zephyr should have gotten Titania's ult. Dive bomb feels good and her Turbulence is great.

If it were me, I'd make her 1 her passive so if you're bullet jumping, depending on how long you hold space, you bullet jump more. Make her new 1 an AOE cone in front of her that knocks enemies up and either grant allies her passive if within the radius around her like volt's Speed or keeps the enemies suspended like Rhino's ult or both. If enemies affected by her 1 are within the blast radius of Dive Bomb, they are slammed down and inflicted with more damage.

Make her ult pseudo archwing that let's the player keep their Warframe's primary, secondary, and melee. It would be a toggle ability. If you were to touch down and crouch/slide on the ground, you can walk. If you were to double jump, you would enter "archwing" again. All abilities are usable in "archwing."

Titania and Zephyr would end up having very similar kits though.' "

I commented the above. As for other frames...

I would love to see Mesa's Ballistic Battery be a toggle. There are two ways I could see this work.

1: You generate stacks by damaging and killing enemies. Killing grants more stacks than damaging. Consecutive shots against the same enemy grants more stacks per shot. At 100 stacks, your next shot is empowered. You lose the control of when the empowered shot is fired though. :/

2: You generate stacks only by landing consecutive shots. The number of shots is determined by the fire rate of the weapon. After so many consecutive shots, your next shot is empowered. If your weapon has a fire rate of 10 rounds/ second, it would take 10 rounds to obtain the empowered shot. The visual would be a bar at the bottom like Atlas' first ability or Rhino's first ability. If that is filled, you get the empowered shot. After so long of not landing consecutive shots, the bar would decrease over time. For this, you have to play around with how accurate of a shooter you are. It rewards you for being a good shot but you sort of lose some control over when you get the empowered shot as well.

Hydroid: I want more control over the tentacles.

Make his Tempest Barrage a tentacle slam that heals him, make his Tidal Surge an AOE Mag pull around Hydroid, keep his Undertow so it synergizes well with his new Tidal Surge, keep the tentacles in his ult but if he casts his new Tempest Barrage, it slams all existing tentacles in the direction of the cast. Sounds like Illaoi from League of Legends in Warframe.

Limbo: I LOVE THIS FRAME. He's the true high skill ceiling Warframe. The only thing I would change is if enemies are affected by his ult, they are stunned or something. Give him more breathing room to deal damage to large groups of enemies. Enemies can only be stunned or whatever once every so many seconds. I guess his Rift Surge is a little meh but I guess it could be a toggle as well or something.

Oberon: Make his Smite affect every enemy with a higher percentage value of Weakened, make his Hollowed Ground a toggle and AOE around him instead of a line skillshot.

Rhino: Enemies affected by his passive, Rhino Charge and Rhino Stomp drop shards like Mag's Polarize which if picked up, grant bonus resistances, Roar is the only Buff that I wouldn't make a toggle because the nature of the buff but I would make it able to be recast only to refresh the cooldown.

Chroma: I ALSO ADORE THIS WARFRAME, but I have no idea how to make him more dragon like. Dragons fly and stuff so maybe give him a flying/mobility ability and let his ult roam or something.

Ember: I think she falls off late game. Armor reduction after each proc of World on Fire hitting an enemy.

Ash: Keep his Shuriken and Smoke Screen but have his Smoke Screen recastable. If he casts Smoke Screen while visible, he becomes invisible and stuns any enemies around. If he's invisible, he stuns any enemies around but doesn't refresh the duration of the invisibility. Get rid of his Teleport and put it into his Blade Storm. His Teleport should be something like Shadow Clone. On cast, it drops a MELEE ONLY clone of Ash or multiple with higher levels. It deals no damage (or maybe it only deals current melee weapon damage) but/and knocks back enemies like it does when you regularly melee something. The AI would have to be really good I guess. If closest valid enemy target and not already targeted by another shadow clone then use AI pathing to get in range and attack target or something. His Blade Storm should be more interactive and reward the player for timing the attacks. Press 4 to become invisible for 3 seconds and draw your dagger. During that time press melee to jump to target and two circles appear or something. If you press melee again when the circles' lines meet, you are granted a bleed proc or extra damage, and an extra second added to the invisiblity. That enemy can only be affected once every so many seconds.

EVERY WARFRAME WITH A SELF BUFF: That self buff should be a toggle. Easiest fix of my life. Energy costs and damage values are just number crunching. Whatever makes it feel fair.

That was a long rant and I'm sorry but if you made it through the whole thing, awesome!

There are some other things I would change that isn't related to the Warframes but that's for later.

Let me know what you think or what you would change in the comments below!

    Cheers

  10. It's been a while since I posted on this thread and I might make one on players helping players soon anyway but I'll try.

This might sound silly but I'm looking for a high fire rate primary or secondary that has the capability of 85% - 100% status proc that is mostly in puncture and can be modded for corrosive damage and blast.

The reason is to shred armor with corrosive, decrease enemy damage with puncture, and CC with blast. The idea is you'll be able to deal more damage, take more damage and CC crowds. I've been looking on the wiki and other sites and can't really find exactly what i'm looking for. Some options I found that were kinda close was the Zhuge, Spectra and Hikou Prime. The Hek, Vaykor Hek, Latron Prime, and Daikyu aren't high fire rate but might be other options for what I'm looking for. Now I just need to wait for DE to release this dream weapon of mine and my obsession will be quenched.

  11. Thanks for all your input. Once I gather enough stuff, I'll start building Pox, Torid and all that.

What melee weapon would be best synergizes with Saryn? I was thinking of building a Toxic Lash build and something like a sword and shield would be good because of her damage reduction. Any suggestions?

To branch away from Saryn, what other Warframes have good synergies with weapons?

  12. I've been fanboying over Saryn for the last week and I've been looking at some weapons that compliment her strengths. Since she is a Viral, Toxic and Corrosive damage caster, why not complete the loadout with more status chance.

I felt that crit and raw damage weapons would fall off harder on higher level enemies so I've been trying status weapons like the Ignis, Braton Prime, Ninkondi, and a Status/Crit Lex Prime. The combination of Saryn and those weapons result in very fun gameplay for me. I tend to run blast and Corrosive most of time because I love the AOE knockdown from blast and current armor shred is very nice.

Some weaknesses though is that corrosive procs take a while to stack up when the enemies have a crap ton of armor and do a crap ton of damage. I know that if I keep up the armor shred, it will pay off and I will be able to kill the enemies but their damage is so high that I have a hard time staying alive when I hit around 80+ trying to manage ally my resources and stuff.

If there was a high fire rate, puncture based, over 20% status primary weapon, that would be SOOOOO good for what I'm trying to pull off. The only weapons that are puncture and high status are the Latron Prime (one of my favorite weapons) and the Lex Prime. I'm not sure if status procs have an even chance between the damage types on a weapon or how any of that works. All I know is if I want to proc something, build for status chance and hope for the best. :P

What could I do differently to compliment Saryn's strengths? What other weapons compliment Saryn's strengths?

What is your favorite type of weapon (ex. Status, Crit, Raw Damage, etc.)?

What other Warframes and weapons synergize well with each other?

    Cheers

  13. I just ran Covert Lethality on a max range Excalibur with some nice results. I could stand my own but I think I fell short because of the environmental limit to radial blind and the delay between casts. Which makes perfect sense for balance purposes but I could still one shot ANYTHING. I really enjoyed playing around with it. I can see it not being very practical without some kind of survivability.

I think there are 3 frames that can easily make use of Covert Lethality the best. In no order: Inaros, Wukong, Ivara.

Inaros has a huge health pool, his 1 is a spammable blind and is passive life steal on finisher kills makes use of Covert Lethality.

Wukong has his defy and his 3 to lose agro/stun enemies.

Ivara has stealth and sleep arrows.

It's a weird mod and probably doesn't really belong in this game due to the fast paced nature but whatever. I'm having fun with it. Let me know your thoughts below. Cheers!

As for me, I agree completely with OP. She is fun as crap, and for a debuffer(which we don't have many of), she is REALLY good. That synergy tho.. Bring an Ignis with Saryn to an Excavation and I can go for miles.

    27 minutes ago, Ivan_Rid said:

Recently tried running a Sobek with Acid Shells, results are hilarious. Viral cuts enemy hp in half and Acid Shells makes them explode for 45% of their max hp (+450flat corrosive, +radial blast from spore, +gas procs). So if Sobek can actually kill a single tough enemy you get a crazy chain reaction of enemies popping like party baloons.

I just used Ignis and it's pretty fun. I ran Blast and Corrosive though with 85% status. I need to try to get Acid Shells. That sounds like fun.

  15. I just recently played 3 Survival missions on Titan Saturn as Saryn and it was one of the most enjoyable experiences.

I went over 1000 kills each game, around 20 to 30 minutes a game. I have a pretty Jack of all Trades build with Regenerative Molt augment. First, I place down a clone. Second, I put spores on the clone. Third, cast Toxic Lash and switch to melee. Fourth, let the enemy kill the spores and the clone. Fifth, cast Miasma to clean up with damage amp from toxic and viral or melee any targets with spores on them and cast more clones if my health gets too low. Meleeing targets with spores while Toxic Lash is up restores some energy and Regenerative Molt Restores health. If played safely and correctly, you can survive with a lot of energy and health sustain without a support while outputting a crap ton of damage. High risk, high reward, high skill ceiling and you need some luck on your side. Just my kind of frame.

If you're with a really good team of let's say a Frost, Trinity, and Nekros or something, Saryn alone will be able to output damage and the rest of the team will be able to support and sustain you through the longest of endless missions. Pick Saryn up.

I used melee the most but a shotgun, sonicor or something that can deal with nullifiers, and fast melee weapon will carry you and your team through those missions. Cheers.

Edit 1: I'm glad to see you guys enjoying this thread and there are some Saryn mains posting here as well. Hopefully the TOXICITY will be kept to a minimum... or a maximum, depending. :klappa:

Edit 8/31/2016: To sum it all up, for those who have posted, Saryn has touched us in one way or another and holds a special place in our hearts. She holds the place as the AOE-DOT-DPS-Melee-Caster-Health-Regen-Tank in my heart and pre-rework as the spam 4 to win. Post-rework, I feel like she's more rewarding to play and keeps the gameplay engaging with a high skill ceiling. She requires a lot more brain power to be effective but damn is she effective at her job if done correctly. That kind of gameplay makes us better players. She better identifies herself as the frame that melts enemies slowly and painfully through diesease and plague. I think DE did a wonderful job at executing her rework. In the end, it's just a game but...

  16. I just played a 60 minute survival on Saturn Titan with me as Saryn, another Saryn, and Nekros. This got me thinking of what Frames synergize well together. List some of your favorite ones here! :)

    Saryn, Nova, Nekros/Trinity, Loki

-- AOE DOT comp. Loki get's the enemies close, Nova slows, Saryn spores and kills, Nekros heals and does the drops or Trinity heals. Lack of true tank but you have survivability with Loki invis, Nekros Desecrate and Shadows/Trinity heals, Nova Slow, and Saryn's Rejuvinating Molt.

    Mag, Frost, Nyx, Nekros/Trinity

-- Bubble Attraction comp. Mag for Magnetize/Polarize combo, Nyx for Chaos, Frost for bubbles, Nekros/Trinity for heals. Nyx casts Chaos and Mag uses Polarize/Magnetize for damage amp and keeping bullets off you, Frost uses Globe to keep bullets off you, Trinity/Nekros for heals and stuff.

    Volt, Excalibur, Loki/Trinity/Nekros, Valkyr

-- Melee Frame Comp. Volt for Speed, Excalibur for AOE Stun into stealth finisher, Loki for Radial Disarm/800% invis melee damage or Trinity/Nekros for healer support, Valkyr for melee speed boost and God Mode ult. If you take Loki, you lack a healer but get his utility and melee damage. The speed from this comp would be pretty insane unless there is a cap to melee speed.

    Volt, Ember, Equinox, Sayrn

-- Speed Run DOT comp. Volt for Speed, Ember for ult, Equinox for Maim, Sayrn for spores and ult. Combining all of these guys together will make speed running any mission a breeze.

    Nekros, Vauban, Frost, Banshee

-- Disengage/GTFO comp. Nekros for Terrify, Vauban for Repelling Bastille, Frost for Bubbles (if enemies within range of bubble cast, enemies are repelled and frozen on cast), and Banshee for Sonic Boom. Repel everyone with this comp.

    Vauban, Inaros, Mag, Loki

-- Get Over Here comp. Vauban for Vortex pull, Inaros for Devour and Sandstorm, Mag for Pull, Loki for Decoy. Become the most attractive comp.

    Ashe, Atlas, Excalibur, Titania

-- Melee Dash comp. Ashe for his ult, Atlas for his one, Excalibur for his one, and Titania for her ult melee. Excalibur will cast blind and might apply finisher damage and stuff to enemies. Needs testing but the idea is for the frames to just dash melee stuff to death.

    Banshee, Mesa, Nova, Rhino

-- Ranged Weapon Damage Amp comp. Banshee for Sonar, Mesa for weapon damage amp, Nova for Slow and damage amp, Rhino for damage amp. This is better against single targets than AOE.

    Hydroid, Oberon, Rhino, Zephyr

-- Dunk comp. Hydroid slams tentacles, Oberon slams with ult, Rhino slams with passive and knocks up with ult to set up for alley-oop, I just put Zephyr because she slams herself so it kinda fits. Don't use this comp...

This was fun. I'll probably add more whenever I get inspired. Post yours below.

  17. As the title says. You can go as in depth as you want with your frames, weapons, strategy and all that.

TL;DR: As of this post, my favorite combo of frames to battle late game enemies are Mag for damage, Frost for tanky support, Trinity for heal and energy restore support (probably EV), and last is situational. I like Nova, Vauban, Loki, Nekros, another Trinity (one EV and another Bless), Nyx, really anything with nice support, lockdown or AOE CC to fill the situational spot.

I heard rework Mag and beam weapons are really good so with three other players with beam weapons would be really good. I like to build things that counter annoying enemies like nulifiers, bombards, stuff like that. Using high fire rate weapons are good against the nulifier bubble,

On Mag, I value power efficiency, power strength, and range with range being the most important. Power strength isn't as necessary because the way that Magnetize scales with enemy weapons. Efficiency is nice for spamming, power strength is nice for the damage amplification. I also like Natural Talent and Shield Transference as quality of life mods. Spam Polarize for the shards, Magnetize for the damage and to avoid bullets, Pull for the CC. Crush is ok. I can see the Crush augment being useful for pinch situations but I like Shield Transference for the shields even though that won't matter when you get one shot late game anyway so Crush augment might be better. Hmmmm.... Primary weapon: I heard Quanta is really good for Magnetize. Secondary, I like anything that is either status or CC. I build either Atamos or Sonicor. Melee doesn't matter on Mag. I like Life Strike and Crit weapons so something like that. Carrier is my favorite companion, and sweeper is really good.

I value Range and Power Efficiency for Frost. Strength doesn't really matter because your bubbles will scale with enemy damage, and Duration is nice but kinda difficult to get due to valuing Range more and not using Narrow Minded which decreases Range. Efficiency for spamming. I really like Ice Wave Impedance and Chilling Globe as Augments. It really jumps his utility up quite a bit. Spam Snow Globe, Avalanche, and Ice Wave when necessary. Save downed teammates with Snow Globe. I like making paths with Snow Globe to traverse through the level safely. Don't forget you can explode Snow Globe with his 1 which also knocks down enemies within the radius. Tons of CC and can save your entire team.

To me Trinity is one of the most rewarding frames. For this team build, I value a EV Trinity for maximum energy restoration and shield restoration. I max Power Strength, Range and Efficiency and leave duration around 10% for super quick refills. Constantly Energy Vamp and Bless when needed. Look at your teams health pool and if you're in affinity range for Bless. Vampire leach is super important on an EV Trin so your team won't go into their health pool as often and it gives you some breathing room.

For the situational spot: Slow Nova is really nice for the CC and the damage amp. Nekros is nice for the CC and the loot drop. Vauban is nice for locking down an entire room single handed. A Bless Trinity is nice for 75% reduction but it falls off a little bit so it's not as great as it used to be. Nyx is nice for the scaling damage on her ult but it also takes a lot of energy. Sorta like an Irradiating Disarm Loki but leaves the weapons on the enemies. Loki is meh to me because it takes away the scaling damage and this is meant to use the enemy's damage to kill themselves but still worth mentioning. Titania just came out and I really like her lantern ability. If you stack Range and Duration mods but not Narrow Minded to keep the Range, then you have a floating Nyx bubble and the enemies aggro to that instead of you so it's absolutely perfect combo. Still needs testing but just imagine if it actually works. Really cool synergy.

This was fun. I'm interested in some other really fun, quirky and end game viable team builds to try.
