Have to say that I'm also disappointed with melee 2.0. I do like the idea behind it and I really appreciate the improved look and feel of melee fights however in its current implementation it misses the fun factor I was hoping for.

 

My main grief is simply the combo system, very unpractical to use (on PC with a mouse and keyboard) and more like a gadget than a real combat feature to me. When playing in a "quiet" mission I do give it a try and I am indeed happy when I manage to trigger one (which is not often, I must be terrible at spamming button in a specific way) however I never bother using it in an intense fight. It is clearly not a valuable tactical option in a busy battle for me.

 

I really want melee 2.0 to work and I really want to enjoy it but right now I have to admit I'm just disappointed, feel like I'm enjoying only 50% of it.
