    • DESCRIPTION: You can have the nechramech in the railjack-archwing-space, walking around in space, although borked, being able to shoot.

    • REPRODUCTION: Be in a mech, and teleport to a teammate in archwing, using the tactical view.
    • EXPECTED RESULT: I should be in my archwing, and in space.
    • OBSERVED RESULT: I am now a nechramech in space, and I can leave mech mode and run around as operator.
movement is weird, and teleporting anywhere else will result in a black screen, which can be fixed by going in and out of operator/mech mode.
    • REPRODUCTION RATE: Every time the reproduction steps are taken. 100% of the time.
  1. As stated in the title, during Defection missions, the AI fails to get through doors quite regularly.
This happened both in the T2 and T3 missions, on different tilesets.

The number of defectors that manages to go through the door varies from 0-3, making it quite impossible to get to rotation C :sadcry:

    Part 1: (tier 2):

    part 2: (tier 3)

This seems to be occurring since the last update (22.12.0), but I'm not 100% sure if that's indeed the case.

Is there a tl;dr version as to why Vauban's acquisition is problematic?

I mean, considering there are apps telling you about current alerts (even if you're not logged in), Vauban is literally the frame requiring the least amount of work to get it.

The fact that you have to wait a more or less long time to get stuff for free in Warframe (i.e. building frames, farming rare resources ect.) was always a thing.

I don't really see the issue here, to be honest.

tl;dr you can only expect a vauban neuroptics to show up outside of sleep/working hours every ~3 weeks. But sometimes it can literally take ~3 months for it to show up, outside of sleep/working hours.

Interesting data. I don't know, I think 3 weeks average waiting time isn't that terrible actually. Besides, it was more of an "issue" when the prime didn't exist yet, please do make sure to pick that one up if you haven't already, it's next on the list to be vaulted.

Thanks for the headsup, I will totally make sure to farm him! :)

  4. Introduction:

I've started playing Warframe back in September, and I've been thoroughly enjoying my experience so far.
Specially unlocking frames has been incredibly rewarding, but there's one frame that's been seriously frustrating me: Vauban, and his Neuroptics in particular.

I've been trying to get him since ~mid October and I still haven't been able to get my hands on it, despite installing the app etc, and trying to keep an eye out for his alert. After missing the January 6th alert for Vauban Neuroptics, I've been looking forward to his next alert, and unfortunately when I woke up this morning, I noticed I missed his 4:52 - 6:04AM alert.
So as I started to wonder, when the alert shows up?  How many are reasonably achievable? Etc, so I decided to dig in.
To get the data, I went to the official alert twitter, and figured out when all alerts were. https://twitter.com/WarframeAlerts

    The Data:

    Data from January 1 2017 - January 22 2018.

    • Total spawns: 42.
    • Average days between spawns: 9.21
    • Longest Period without a spawn: 26 days, March 15 - April 10 2017.
    • Shortest Period without a spawn: 2 days, July 23 - July 25 2017.

Here's the Graph for the alert occurrences:

    wTIaI8X.png
(the empty bars are alerts that stretch past midnight, imagine the part not covered by the bar to be the actual bar)

What grabbed my attention quite early on when filling in the dates already, is that times seem to be a bit clustered.
I noticed that in the September-December period there were a lot of AM occurrences, whereas from May-September there were a lot of PM occurrences.
This makes it extra frustrating for people who aren't able to play the game during specific hours.
This may just be an odd coincidence, statistics work in a funny way, but might be something that could use a little bit of attention.

Next up: what days do the alerts actually occur on?
    ZboKGUv.png

Seems rather fairly distributed. Unfortunately a bit heavy on the Monday, and a little bit light on Friday, but once again, statistics, this seems reasonably distributed.

So, I wanted to figure out when I had an actual possibility to get the Neuroptics.

This is the part where I'm going to make assumptions:

Assumption 1: It's unreasonable to play before going to work.
Assumption 2: Work is 9:00 - 17:00, so it's not possible to play Warframe during those hours.
Assumption 3: There's travel time, dinner, and some general house-hold things, so it's only possible to play after 18:30
Assumption 4: Since the next day starts early again, bed time is at midnight.
Assumption 5: In the weekend there's a bit of extra sleep, starting the day at 10:00.
Assumption 6: Any free time is available to play Warframe.

Seems like a fairly reasonable best-case scenario in terms of Vauban Neuroptics farming.
Working with these assumptions, the numbers change significantly:

Central European Time (UTC + 1)

    • Total Achievable Spawns: 17
    • Average days between spawns: 22.76
    • Longest Period without a spawn: 60 days, September 26 - November 25 2017.
    • Shortest Period without a spawn: 5 days, February 12 - February 17 2017.

    Eastern Time (UTC - 5)

    • Total Achievable Spawns: 21
    • Average days between spawns: 18.43
    • Longest Period without a spawn: 48 days, June 24 - May 7 2017.
    • Shortest Period without a spawn: 5 days, February 12 - February 17 2017, and November 1 - November 6 2017

    AEDT (UTC + 10)

    • Total Achievable Spawns: 17
    • Average days between spawns: 22.76
    • Longest Period without a spawn: 85 days, May 21 - August 14 2017.
    • Shortest Period without a spawn: 4 days, May 7 - May 11 2017

    Notes:

    • I haven't taken Daylight saving time into account. This might shift the numbers a little bit, for example the 85 days in Australia become 108 days o_O)
    • I also ran the numbers with 15:30 - 0:00 as available time during the week days, this adds 1-5 more spawns per year based on the timezone.

    Conclusions:

    • You can expect an achievable Neuroptics on an average of once every ~3 weeks or so.
    • Sometimes it can be ~3 months between achievable Neuroptics.

So, after spending hours digging through the data, making graphs and everything it leaves me very dissatisfied.
I spent a lot of time farming frames like Ivara and equinox, and I've had some crazy bad RNG there. But at least it's still playing the game, and I enjoy playing the game.
This makes it only more fun once you've actually unlocked the frame. Vauban on the other hand is just a waiting simulator, hope you can snag the Neuroptics when they show up, and only disappointment when you wake up and see you've missed the alert because you were sleeping.

So how would I change the drops?

    • Remove Vauban from the alerts and just put him somewhere else.
Since he's supposed to be a frame that creates deadly environments, why not reward him from one? Maybe add his components to the rewards list of Nightmare missions?
    • Reduce spawn rate, but increase duration significantly.
This will make it less likely that you miss a spawn because it's at an unfortunate time, reducing frustration.
    • Double up the spawn
Make Neuroptics spawn at a random time, and 10-14 hours later again. This allows you to anticipate a next spawn, and increases the probability that it spawns at a time that is available for you. This can go hand-in-hand with a reduced spawn rate.
    • Make the spawn predictable.
If it's predictable it's also not as frustrating if you miss it.

I'm looking forward to your opinions!
