  1. I finally got around to doing this fight yesterday for the first time. I looked up how to do it. Did it about 9 times. On the 10th time, I was only able to get 1 person to join me. This person wasn't completely sure how to do it. So I typed him the basic instructions before we started. As we went on, I typed a few more instructions. When we got outside, we did the first heating up phase. He tore off the piece and then didn't know what to do. I typed to him after I shot it, "Sorry, I forgot to mention you need to shoot the hole you made." Then we got to the end of the second heating. This time I jumped on it. The cutscene started. I then decided this was a good time to remind him that when this cutscene is done, shoot the hole I made until the gauge comes back. So as I'm tearing the piece off, I press the chat key to open chat to type. And my image just freezes. I still hear the audio. According to the audio, everything was going normal with the action being completed and the next phase starting. But as for what I saw, I was just frozen in mid pull. The chat never opened. And I was basically looking at a still shot. Nothing responded. My UI was still gone. I couldn't open a menu to exit. I had to force close the game.

  2. About the weapon exilus slots. Thanks for adding built in polarities to avoid using too many forma to fit these things. But... It seems like every time I go and think, "Oh, I can now add ____ to this weapon." I go check and the slot is formaed for V. The mod I want is a - (dash). Then I go to the next weapon.... V instead of a dash... Next weapon... V instead of a dash. Then finally I get a built in dash. I actually had to check what mods even have a V polarity. And... come on. 95% of the time, the most useful mods for that slot are a dash. Its shocking the amount of weapons that have a V there. Is Projectile Flight Speed really more of a priority mod than Steady Hands or Mutation or any of the other dash mods? The single weapons that use the Oddity mods, sure ok. But the Knell getting a Madurai polarity? For what exactly? Spry sights? Or that the Twin Grakata is really begging for Projectile Flight Speed?

  3. So... what exactly is the idea behind the weapon nerfs? Especially the heavy weapons and hammers. With the removal of combo counter dmg scaling, we were told that the damage would increase to compensate. That didn't really happen for a lot of weapons. I figured that at least we would get a 2.5x increase to the base damage along with the supplementary stat changes that we would of got anyway the other year if Melee was included in the stat refresh along with Primary and Secondaries.

    Then as I go over the weapons, I see some weapons that didn't even get a 2x increase. Most people who used melee comfortable sat at 2.5x depending on the mission. Now, we aren't even getting that damage. Which even boggles the mind more when you get to the slow heavy weapons where you trade speed for more raw damage. Those weapons (if lucky) only got a 2x increase. Combine that with mod changes, and its a big loss. I'm finding myself replacing Primed Pressure Point with Condition Overload (due to the calc changes) just so I can recover some of the dmg loss on weapons that can use it when dealing with higher level enemies. The supplementary stat increases don't really make up the difference in dmg loss when compared to before. I'm hoping the "rage mode" that you guys talked about was factored into these decisions and that will make more dmg than before being able to be accessed easily, because Heavy Attacks are slow, same range as normal hits, and don't do enough damage to warrant the combo lose that would affect your normal damage (if using something like Blood Rush) until you rebuild that counter.

    I'm running around with things like the Arca Titron and I can feel that moment pretty quickly when I think "Yup... and this is where I'd scale beyond this." 180 dmg to 360 dmg seems big on paper but thats a 2x combo counter that I would have in less than 40secs in the previous system.
