  1. I really like these ideas too. I don't know if I am the only one who would like more "dead end" type rooms (rooms with only one entrance/exit) or the option to when adding a room choosing how many doors it has. I feel the need to have a room with doors that go somewhere instead of a room with those glaring red doors XD. I kinda like the idea of a Tenno themed aquarium (like that in the codex's art gallery), a dead end garden or a lounging area. It feels kinda odd to have sparring rooms at every door where there isn't anything else to put behind.

  2. I was thinking something in the lines of a social/recreational area as a "dead end" room type (only has one door). These are best suited for the larger clan halls where there are additional slots for rooms to be built. I have left these doors unbridged to any other rooms as it has no logical use in my dojo (I go for that realism thing hehe), and as such I see a need for a room (other than a research room) as a "dead end" or decorative room. These can obviously also be connected to other rooms. It would be nice to see an aquarium/zoo/greenhouse like room (as shown in the concept art within the games codex), a market room where players can trade across dojos (quite a big undertaking there) or a little canteen like room where players can enter "clan chat rooms" to discuss things in groups without having to bother everyone else in the clan. There are many more ways to fill those little gaps in the dojo (maybe an option to remove doors in the halls and gardens?), I am sure DE will bring out something soon :D

  3. Although it is true that if a Tenno squad of four use their powers at the right time and place there is very little that can stop that squad, how ever the if feel there isn't much a connection between squad members using their individual powers to end thier enemies lives and team work.

     

    From what I can tell, Warframe is a game designed to reward the player with gameplay that is rich in enjoyment, epic stories to tell and general Space-Ninja badassery. All of which is based, but not solely, on team co-ordination and sharing the awesomeness (why else have a four member squad?).

     

    In my opinion team co-ordination could do with a bit of strengthining. I understand that there are many things to take into consideration when adding something new into the game so as not to unbalance the gameplay which would lead to the eventual boring of players to the extent that they don't play anymore, so I would merely like to pose this idea as what it is, an idea.

     

    Why not allow tenno to combine thier powers into a new and even more useful/formiddable power. For example, Nyx's Psychic Bolts couppled with Ash's Blade Storm could see Nyx mark enemies and form a mental bridge to Ash so he can locate enemies with greater ease and over longer distance. Rhino's Rhino Stomp power in conjunction with Frosts Avalanche could freeze and kill enemies (if the damage is sufficient, else a stun and then slow effect could be applied to the enemies caught in the cross fire) and then upon being shattered by Rhino Stomp would hurl many ice shards that stun and then slow enemies (damage over time could also be applied as Rhino Stomp, according to the mod description, slows time which allows the ice to remain colder for longer). Add Saryn to the Rhino/Frost mix and you have deadly ice shards that tear at armor and devours the health of those unfortunate enought to get caught in the radius of this attack.

     

    These new collabirative attacks can be triggered by each respective player holding the power's corresponding button in, within close proximity to another player who is doing the same. When this happens the game will prompt you to click the fire button which will trigger a mini-cutscene likened to Ash's Blade Storm.

     

    As the power will be devastating some balancing measures can be added, for example a longer charge time will see tenno become more vulnerable unless other tenno are covering them (less powers combined makes for security in the casting being a success but less damage/effects and awesomeness), this could have a massive drain on the Warframes energy (all energy is depleted, shields are drained and turned to energy for the attack) and movement speed, and in case of dire emergencies where Tennow would rather die than fail a mission, Tenno with low energy may give their lives to see the attack being launched and Tenno with full energy/health/shields etc may give themselves completely to make a truly devastating attack.

     

    I know very little about how the balance in a game is maintained, so I am sure my thoughts are ridden with faults, please do point them out and share your opinion, it is much appreciated :D
