    No One Joins After Mission Start

    Well, it could be that other people have the problem but they don't realize there is one.

    Before the Tethra's event patch if I ran an invasion map alone, I would always fill up the team after not even one minute. Or more often than not I would join an ongoing match.

     

    Since that patch I've NEVER been able to join an ongoing match.

    I can sit on the lobby waiting for other people and hope the team fills out before it starts, because if it doesn't fill out then nobody else will join during the match.

     

    The alternative is hoping I have 3 friends online that want to do what I need to do (and right now I don't as I need the brakk and they need the detron..)

     

    So yea, after all these weeks.. I've lost the fun to play and I just log for the daily reward. Sometimes I check if anything changed regarding this problem.. but so far no luck.

    Well, more than bothersome, since it's killing my will to play.

    I either have to play solo or sit in the lobby waiting for the team to fill it up.

    The issue in this case is..  either wait for a lot of time or hope that more than one person will join in the lobby, since nobody else will join the mission once it started.

     

    As of patch 12.4.4 the issue is still there

     

    Tried the suggested workaround to play solo and then go back online as well, but to no avail.

     

    It's obvious that not everybody is encountering this issue, as a couple of my friends can play just fine.

    Definitely having the same issue since patch 12.4.0 (or 12.4.1, can't be sure right now) hit

     

    I can't join any ongoing match since the patch.

    I can join other players only if they are sitting in the lobby, or if the mission basically just started (which means both I and the host are still in the loading screen).

     

    Furthermore, no one is able to join me.

     

    I can invite people just fine and host for them (or viceversa), but well, once the mission started nobody can join it.

     

    I'm not playing much lately, but did over 30 missions with nobody joining.. and that's more than odd. Since I started playing this is a first (aside from few nightmare missions where not really many people join)

    So.. Can This Be Interpreted As Pay To Win?

    Well, in reality it all boils down to what you think is Pay 2 Win.

     

    The main thing however is, in reality, what's there to win in Warframe? The real issue with Pay 2 Win would be in pvp, when you can obtain an advantage in power over other players so that you are harder to kill / kill faster.

     

    Now, if we think that Pay 2 Win is simply whenever there is something that you cannot obtain through paying, like Titan Prime, Exca Prime, etc.. then yes, we can assume Warframe is Pay 2 Win.

     

    But again, win what?

     

    If you think that a Titan Prime getting double resources of the normal one is granting an unfair advantage over normal F2P players then, by your logic, Warframe already is Pay 2 Win since when they added materials to the market. Why farming materials when I can buy them?

     

    But I bet you never thought or will never think about having materials to the market as P2W, ever.

     

    In my opinion, for what I consider P2W, Warframe it's still simply a Pay for Convenience.

    Different skins and an additional polarity for a warframe and 2 weapons (which I bet people just ranked to 30 and forgot about them..) is not going to make Warframe P2W.

     

    It can change in the future, but I still don't see this Titan Prime as the first step towards P2W.
