I get it... it's a neat concept and all having to perform actions to the beat of Octavias metronome in order to get her buffs... honestly, I get it.... because it makes sense to force players to be in time rhythmically... it's what her character is all about. However, ingame this isn't always so simple to do with any sort of reliability and it just makes the mechanic clunky song to song. Many people have no problem gaining a desired buff.... others do. Personally, I am a mixed bag of both of these... sometimes I can get the buff with no problems, other times I'll be damned if I can get a buff at all. My suspicion is there is latency causing issues with properly timing to the beat in there.... somewhere. And good luck chasing a highly mobile Octavia all over the place trying to rapid squat and gain Nocturne.

    As a player who has absolutely terrible internet service, this is increasingly problematic for me. Even if I am running solo, some of my compositions are just impossible to buff reliably. Do I just not use that particular song? Well... that seems to go against a big part of playing her if the creativity of making her music is just not viable in the first place. I don't know what the fix is for this, I know it has had patches making it easier in the past. Maybe it is time to rethink how we get the buffs? Thoughts?

  3. Exergis is easily one of the best shotguns in the game... period! You've got to mod it properly! Even without a riven mod it can 1-shot Heavy Gunners on Endless Kuva tileset upwards of lev 50-60. As a filthy Mag main her bubble just loves this weapon!! With the extra PT that my riven provides 2 shots with the Exergis provides the bubble with enough damage to kill everything that comes into contact with it.

    For modding I would suggest something like this if you do not have a riven mod for it.

    These are my current riven stats. I know.. my rolls have been very unlucky on this mod for some reason, this is as best I could get so far.

    I've been testing Magnetize with a Gaze, Haymaker, Splat kitgun build and it works pretty good.... it's not "great" even with the outstanding riven I have for it, but certainly nothing to scoff at. Testing with 8 level 130 Corrupted Heavy Gunners in a bubble I could dump 2 full magazines into the bubble and kill all 8 gunners when the bubble collapses. Not too shabby for a beam weapon!

    I also tested with my Rattleguts, Killstream, Lovetap kitgun and even with a really good riven for it, it pales in comparison.

    As far as my secondaries go though, nothing comes close to my Catchmoon, Haymaker, Splat kitgun with this riven for use with Magnetize. Only 1 magazine is needed to inject enough damage into the bubble to kill all 8 gunners!

    --Honorable mention---
    My Tombfinger, Haymaker, Deepbreath kitgun without a riven mod could take out all 8 gunners with IIRC 2 full magazines shot into the bubble.... not to bad at all!
  5. I play Ash almost exclusively.... and I rarely use his 4. That being said I'd like to see his 4 changed to something like:

    Press and release 4 to target everything in a radius around you for a fast lower damage assassination, or hold 4 to charge and release for full damage.

    The charge time should not be long at all... like 3 seconds tops
    His 1, 2, and 3 are fine as they are now IMO.

    With Ash I play him mainly for the invisibility keeping his 2 on a spammed macro so it is always up. Can't die if nothing shoots at you!! This allows me to murder everything at leisure with my retardedly OP weapons. If I have stubborn targets his 3 with a dagger, Fatal Teleport and Covert Lethality are more than enough to solve the problem!

  6. Mag's bubble typically responds favorably to weapons that emit a projectile. Hitscan weapons do not emit a projectile into the game world, their damage is instantaneous to whatever your reticle happens to be pointed at so you won't see any weapon projectile tracers inside the bubble.This doesn't mean that the damage won't be taken into effect by the bubble when using a hitscan weapon "in theory" but one would need to look at the code of how exactly the bubble is responding to damage by weapon type. The easier way of course would be to just test it thoroughly to see if there is noticeable effect.

    Baruuk has an extremely high energy pool and he very much needs it. Not that his abilities cost much, more that he needs to be using his full kit and boy does it feel good...........

    I've played him for about 4 hours and all of what you stated is accurate! His kit is really good! But as you stated he does need some fine tuning! Particularly were the constant ragdolling of enemies from using his #4 making me have to chase them all over the map to finally kill them... particularly mini-bosses such as Nox etc. His damage is good as is, but I feel it can us a little bit of a boost.... doesn't really need much, but for instance, enemies on endless Kuva Survival past 30 mins start to make his #4 feel pretty weak. It is fun to blast enemies off the map though!! I can do that all day long!! 😃

  8. I personally play Ash as my main frame for 90% of the content in here simply due to my preferred playstyle. Currently I mod him for maximum duration so I can keep his smoke bomb/stealth up at all times and I have his Smoke Bomb macro'd to auto-cast as soon as it times out... basically just a "2" spam. I have roughly 20-21 seconds of stealth per cast. Enemies are never a problem if they can't see you, and I am 99.95% of the time invisible. My only concern is staying out of crossfire.

    With that, I've obviously nerfed his ability strength to roughly 65, so his 1 and 4 are almost useless to me... which is fine... as I rely on weapon strength to get things done! Fatal Teleport with Covert Lethality is my heavy lifter for problemed targets... I can dispatch them right away. Everything else I can easily deal with through weapons. As it stands Ash is as powerful as I need him to be... there is no content that I cannot solo with him with the exception of spy missions.... because I suck at them and Ivara just makes that so much easier! I realize this isn't the playstyle everyone else wants with Ash... you want abilities to be on par with the likes of Saryn and Mesa who can clear a room or the map even with a quickness. It WOULD be nice to see Ash have a buff to his 4. Even if I build him with as much power strength as I can squeeze onto him it still sort of falls short since many marks are eaten up by other players before I can even press 4 again and wait through the animation of the clones going enemy to enemy.... and in level 60-80 content, sometimes not even killing them off when other frames have no problem with strength favored builds. So yes... I agree he would be a good candidate for some rework, but for my current playstyle... it isn't totally necessary.

  9. For a 1000 day login I think we should be able to pick 1 of anything already available in the game, with the exception of Tennogen items, be it a weapon, mod or frame. I don't think that is unreasonable at all.
