I've been being kind of negative today for some reason so maybe that is why I think poorly of this, but while your cause is noble in general and your intent might be good, if the whole harmony ribbon thing has any effect at all, hyping a muscular dystrophy ribbon and charity work event next while the leukemia stuff is still running takes away from the first cause, because you are taking that out of peoples' thoughts for your own cause.

I not rrting for that at all. I would even argue that while Child Leukemia has a whole awareness month, DSMD awareness is just for one day.

It is unfortunate that it happened to fall on the first week, but im not responsible for it haviing been planned for that day.

I'm just trying to help spread awareness any way I can, because I have to ask, Before you read this post did you know about Duschenne's ?

  2. I write this in light of another warming action we are already taking a large part of to help better the lives of our youth. And I simply wish that we as a community could expand on this action even further.

If you wish to aid me in this fight against Duschenne's, I simply ask that you help spread the word on this.

The national Awareness day is soon, and arrives on September 7th, this coming Friday. If you wish to show support, please help me inform others of this plight.

    Wear your green ribbon !

    And ready your red balloons!,

We need to keep our children healthy and above all safe.

  3. If you wish to aid me in this, I only ask to help spread awareness of it.

Duschenne's Day, its national awareness day, arrives soon. It is this coming September 7th, and if you wish to show your support, walk with a red balloon in hand. Wear your green ribbon. Help our young ones feel safe.

  4. I wrote this all in light of strong and warming action we are already taking to better the lives of our youth, but I want to reach out on the action EVEN FURTHER, and draw you in to not only recognizing muscular Dystrophy,  but of the ugliest monster of its brood, Duschenne's syndrome.

I plead to all tenno, please.

For my young cousin Redmond and countless others like him, please.

Help us fight this illness. Help us find the cure. Help us be known.

  5. Hello Warframe. In light of another launch for the Harmony ribbon, and its success in bringing us together in awareness of Child Leukaemia, I want to say I am proud once more to be apart of a community, that shows such outstanding and unspoken support for our youth.

But many other tragedies face our youth, and I want to begin with a story of my young cousin, Redmond ( can't give out his first name as well as my own).

Red is a young 6 year old going on 7, filled with all the unbridled energy that comes abkut with youth, but he has one tragic flaw.  Red has Muscular Dystrophy.

More precisely: Red has Duschennes syndrome of muscular Dystrophy.  A rare form that affects as many as 25000 people.

He did not ask for this; he does his best not to even notice it. As young as he is he doesnt understand the full potential of what it means to have this illness affect his life.

Duschenne's is carried genetically, through birth an unwanted gift from our mothers. There is a very small chance that your child (namely sons, as it mostly affects males) may be born with this fault, but symptoms do not show or develop until infancy.

But the worst of it is not a weakness of the muscle or mis development of their structure. The worst of Duschennes ugly face shows when your children are told they will lilely not walk after the age of 12. (Young Red sadly has a furthered weakness from a previously sustained injury, and is already attending preschool in his own electric wheelchair, at the age of 6) .

This would be a turning point for most afflicted children; for from there, without constant physical maintenance and therapy, all other major muscle groups would weaken, and atrophy themselves . this would continue on until every system in their body, voluntarily or involuntarily controlled would be catatonic tissue. Leaving nothing but a shell of the young person you once sat down for a story time reading while they cheered on about their Spider-Man action figure.

Its a solemn misery to watch a family move on; knowing , and waiting for what comes next.

And the next Travesty to happen?

Duschennes victims hardly live past the age of 30.

Having bad ammo economy doesn't automatically mean a weapon is terrible.  If it does good damage, then it's worth using for some players with Ammo mutation or dropping ammo restores.  I like how the weapon handles and I put Primed Ammo Mutation on it and it can easily be modded to be a status monster. It is sortie-viable.  It's not a must-have but it's a good alternate choice of the beam shotgun weapon class. Definitely better than Convectrix and Phage (IMHO!) since those two beam shotguns take longer to kill stuff having to wait for their lasers to align properly.

Having bad ammo economy AND having low damage, that is what makes a weapon terrible. The Viper uzis are a good example of this.

Imma try building for that soon as I get it, ty

IKR I haven’t even played my copy of Horizon Zero dawn but that game has a neat bow

The recent Tomb Raider games have a makeshift bow too

Hok and Pedlek can do better, a modular Cetus bow with custom parts and arrows

Better; crossbows. More parts, more variations.

They weren't asking for tips to negate the terrible ammo economy, they were just pointing out that it exists

Take it with a grain of salt, but you also have to bear in mind that while it is released to the PC first, PC players never receive the final product. You guys are the guinea pigs for play testing so I'm sure DE will work that problem out of the equation soon enough. If not then why not grab a dual mod that gives you Negative fire rate? Might help with it being a beam

The ammo economy for it is terrible. It's nonviable in lengthy high level missions, because you'll be chewing through more ammo than you'll be getting back.

There are plenty of ways to negate this . namely mods and Ammo Restores(they exist)

This seems overly complicated. Why not just have ignited spears when it's cast with Firewalker active?

It would invite you into staying close and personal to subdued enemies instead of that cheap 'cast and forget' play style most tend to have with that ability

  11. Short and simple, just a few tweak ideas I had in mind to bring some synergy into Nezha's kit, cuz lets face it, its not really there for him? (Beyond firewalker and warding halo turning you in to a knockdown comet)

    So here goes:

1, Blazing Chakram's health bursts should help replenish your warding hall's health (Chakram needs a damage tweak for sure for this to work)

2, firewalker's path should 'ignite' divine spears he walks through or near. So while enemies are held in place they can get more DoT , more easily from Nezha alone. ( I usually have to hit them with my Chakram while they're impaled to secure the status effect)

And 3 . casting Blazing Chakram while using firewalker should allow the Chakram to sweep its own trail of fire away from Nezha( to a lesser extent of damage) . recasting chakram should still have the same added effect of detonating firewalker.

what exactly is the issue? i play nezha most time, but did not get strange behaviour on shields i think?

could you please share more details?

His Chakram cant pass through certain ability "terrains" that would normally allow gunfire to travel through

  13. 7 hours ago, Kyryo said:

What do you mean... the chackram bounces on the skills instead of passing through?

I dont think that it should be interacting with these abilities in the same way it should with enemies and terrain, but yes it seems to be a clipping issue where it treats those mentioned abilities like a brick wall

  14. I have noticed as of late,( most likely after the sacrifice quest launched for consoles), that Nezha's 2nd ability, Blazing Chakram, is having a number of issues 'interacting' with various other warframe abilities.

These other abilities are almost all ones that give an artificial wall or barrier, such as

    *Gara's vitrify glass wall,

    *Volt's static barrier

    *frost's snowglobe(from the interior)

And even hydroids tentacle swarm, oddly enough.

I want to see if this is a widespread issue first, or gather some thoughts for if this is a bug

I also want to take not that the overall behavior for yhe projectile is far too erratic in its collisions with enemies to even bee a viable ability without the augment, "reaping Chakram" as it has a tendency to fly straight up into the air and bounce between ceiling and floor for its duration.

Please help me in giving more input towards this everyone, I hipe I can give something to DE to work towards in time for Nezha Deluxe to be released as I do love playing this frame.

Fourth ability: summon a Fire Tipped Spear as melee weapon and let him grow a few legs and arms as illusion (because he is based of a roman character and is the enemy of wukong).

    Excuse me?

how am I supposed to play nezha? I'm currently leveling him for the very first time.

Cast 3 at start, cast 1 and start running into everyone/ everywhere. Cast 2 to knock down a group of mobs in front of you(4 to 5 enemies) and follow with finishers. Cast 4 when cluster #*!%ed, followed by weaving through with 1 and melee, or scatter your 2 for easy status and healing. Live inside your warding halo

  17. Given the story implications, I'm perfectly fine with Excalibur being the ONLY umbra recipient. The quest didn't imply that umbra was a new model for the Excalibur warframe, but that it was a solely unique individual on its own.

Only other way to get more Umbra involved would be if DE wanted to progress a story line of Isaah Sr. Having some allies that faced a similar fate as what Ballad put them through, but even after that you'd reach stale water.

  18. Actually, you know what? That source picture gives enough material for a lot of footnotes. That character even resembles Atlas' profile and body stature.

Maybe start with an outline of atlas to follow along with, but here's some ideas:

    The hood is a must,

He needs raised sandals (Asian gelert) ,

Idk about a full rosary around the neck because of a certain tennogen already published, but a half chain intermingled with a cowl would look decent

His body would have to look like those robes, with some overlapped segments of a layered or segmented plate.

He needs EYES this time as well.

(Oh, and maybe the end product could be remeniscent of a hardy Dax soldier?)
