    That's about how long it has been for me. Bit the bullet and reinstalled windows last night and it played smoothly for a bit, but then crapped out again. I wanna play Warframe :(

    This is a huge bummer. Being affected with the same issue and utilizing the same troubleshooting process has been nothing but turmoil. I've read some cases that have been experiencing this bug for over two years. It just doesn't make any sense. I played Veilbreaker & New War on the same computer I'm typing from now, but something about not playing for a little while has really jacked the game up. I wanna play so bad now and I just don't know what to do anymore :(

    Ok sweet, yeah I thought this was just me. I can constantly rollback and forth in order to comfortably play Warframe and other games I like. And doing that I have reset my settings EVERY time. I’m melting. Oh yeah 1660ti here.
     

    NOTES: people are not happy with 445.75. Check the nvidia forums too

    I have a 1660ti with the same driver and I continue to get "hardware failure" notifications. I had this issue upon release of scarlet spear and painstakingly reset my pc in hopes that I could play the update. It did! however, when I needed to update my drivers (back to 445.75 from factory) the hardware failure notes returned. I'm so sad. Two days of grind I can't get back 😞 Stay safe Tenno, wash your handsies.

    • DESCRIPTION: "Hardware Failure"
    • VISUAL: Press play, white screen, chrome tab explaining why "hardware failed"
    • REPRODUCTION: I tried 4 times, Currently reinstalling for attempt 5
    • EXPECTED RESULT: Log in and play the update (I have not changed my hardware and played before update)
    • OBSERVED RESULT: Can't login or anything close to it
    • REPRODUCTION RATE: I'm going to try again and I've since downloaded an optional windows update. Nothing is Overclocked or anything :(

    Yeah, like all my setting with BPM are messed up with steams update. Maybe Steam controller V2 is on the way, maybe somebody goofed. But if DE could check their end and let us know I would love that. Cuz my work around aint very satisfying

    Hey Yall, so upon further investigation I have discovered that the issue big picture mode is not being recognized or whatever at the login in screen. When I set the overlay to forced off, but controller on I was able to get on and move around and stuff. I just watched Rebb's interview, looking forward to a great year in 2020!

     

     

    Can't Enter Password

    Hey guys!

    3.4K hours with a steam controller here. The last day i played was January 19th, no problems at all. I've been playing some other stuff over the past few days. After yesterdays devstream and some secret stuff I saw I got amped to play. I've tried to get in 3 seperate times with the controller on and off and I'm not being allowed to enter my password. I'm not getting any prompts, I just cant click on the bar. Please help me!

    In reference to this and my previous posts. It seems there is some sort of negative correlation with classic controller types (Xbox & PlayStation) and Steam controller issues. Once something is rectified with one the other seems to suffer. Are they really so different? Also, does anyone else have an issue with using the “B” or “O” buttons for doing melee attacks after the mainline update? I’ve tried the toggle to use melee with the fire trigger and that didn’t work either. It’s a shame I can’t see all the hard work that went into melee 2.9

    Well let me start off by saying through the window, this update looks amazing! But when I opened the door with my steam controller, something started to smell terrible. For starters logging in is impossible with the steam controller atm. I had to turn it off, login, then turn it back on ONLY TO REVEAL!!!!! The melee “changes” killed controller players. I am limited to the weapon switch melee attack and that’s it. Once I’ve pressed “b” on my controller I attack once and that’s it. I just got a bunch of stuff doing red crits so this broke my heart. Guys I can sort of get it, it’s a free game, not everything is gonna be perfect always. However! At this point I’m sure you’re aware that this a good product. Many people enjoy this game and throw their hard earned money into it. People such as myself. It does me a little bit of concern when my input of choice isn’t supported properly after a TIMED MAJOR UPDATE. So as I wait for these QoL changes during this next two weeks think about this. You guys have the ability to link steam accounts with warframe. Steam made a controller. Your game is linked too steam. People DO ACTUALLY use the steam controller. Testing builds with it either needs to be reinforced or actually done, period. Like I love you guys, but I really feel like controllers aren’t tested when releasing pc builds.

    2FA/Steam Controller Login

    So I’m gonna try to be as precise as possible with this. Within the past 3 weeks I have purchased a new computer. When I first attempted to login in to warframe I got a couple messages saying “you’re logged in elsewhere. Do you wanna login here” or invalid code. Later it occurred to me that this was part of warframe a 2FA. Once I checked my email, received a code, and entered that code in place of my password I was able to login. The whole problem with this is that I had to figure it all out on my own and it took 3 days! Maybe I’m a bit naive about this stuff as I have only been pc gaming for 3 years, but come on. Some steps or directions on how to login with a new computer or from new location should be displayed, even briefly at the warframe login. Not a complex puzzle I have to solve with my brain.
