  1. Everybody love to see high damage, nuff said. And yeah I buy things so I'm lazy, at least I'm not that stingy to myself. I value my time more than money.

I buy S#&$ too. i got more plat than i know what to do with and im always tryna offload it for triple the price.

Paid 70 plat (just for the hell of it) for the berserker mod what i prolly could have gotten in a few tenno runs.

That kid was only selling it for 15 but he could put the plat to more use than i can currently. im lazy too. i call it like it is.

  2. I think you may have misunderstood me. I'm saying I think Iron Phoenix should get a small buff, as well as some other stances. If a stance is clearly better than another one for a certain weapon, then that is a problem. Crimson Dervish is slow, but not that slow considering it has a 300% damage buff. And you say people who buy stances are "lazy asses." What if they have been farming for weeks on end, and no result? If you've actually never tried farming it and just want to buy it, then you can call them a "lazy &#!." But this is usually not the case for most people, so you have absolutely no right to call them "impatient." Finally, stances are a fairly new thing and they do not have enough combos and variety to specialize in different aspects. It is pretty evident right now which stance is better than the other, which is the exact reason for my post. I feel like some stances should be buffed to specialize in a certain field, so both stances for a weapon type are on a equal level. I do not feel like Crimson Dervish and Iron Phoenix are not on an equal level right now, and many other players agree. So please, educate yourself and remember not to randomly insult people before you post.

Your entire thought process is flawed.

You think damage is everything and its not. I could understand if Crimson was fast and OD powerful but it isnt. its slow and decisive, while phoenix is quick and weak. its the age old story and just because you arent doing 300% on one does not make it the flaw of the other, or vice versa.

Damage is not everything and you fail to realize that.

Furthermore, regardless of how long theyve been farming, when players choose to pay for it, its exactly that: THEIR CHOICE. And whether you agree or not, it is lazy.

There are 28 different stances, all of which have different strengths and weaknesses that BALANCE out their utility. Just because one doesnt do enough damage in your eyes doesnt mean its flawed. Speedy stances gain multipliers faster than slower ones and allow for more hits and higher crit and status proc chances, and the slower ones do massive damage and take longer to get those multipliers, if at all. Quick mods allow for the dispense of multiple enemies without being slowed by your own attacks while slower mods let you slaughter enemies one by one methodically. There is plenty of variety and plenty to choose from but your choices are SEVERELY limited when all you want to see is damage numbers.

  3. I have a number of reasons why this post is ridiculous.

    1) You say Dervish is better but you forget that its only better in damage and not speed and mobility.
People like you who think damage is everything should not have a say in how anything works. Iron phoenix is for those who want to attack fast and hit rapidly from one target to the other without being locked down for too long. THATS HOW BALANCE WORKS. Dervish is for those who want to "wreck face" and phoenix is for the quick and spry.

    2) Who gives a crap about people paying plat for the stance. Thats THEIR choice. If a mod gets nerfed after their lazy asses bought it instead of farming for it, DE holds no responsibility for other's irresponsibility and impatience.

    3) You say " I feel like all stances should be all on the same level, but focusing on different aspects such as attack speed, damage, crit rate, etc." but you clearly dont. If you did want that, youd notice that is how mods are as of right now.

Stop being a damage @#&*( and learn how to play differently.

  4. Wow the way these people complain about balancing makes me ashamed to be apart of this fanbase...

Good work as usual Devs. Don't sweat the whining babies.

  5. What you have would be insanely OP in anything high level.  Weapons already overtake powers badly in high level content.  This would amplify that.

weapons overtake powers... but for this frame... his power is what makes his weaponry useful in the first place. this will definitely shift the focus back to power and energy management.

  6. There's no point to even add this, all Tenno are, by design, masters of blade and gun. it's in their official description.

so your qualm is with the title?

This isnt about names dude. the title can change. Commando, Walker texas ranger, S#&$ even RAMBO can be titles. try to scrutinize the design based on the meat of the post... not the headline

  7. As of late, I've had some ideas brewing in my head about a new Warframe that would essentially function as a weapons master. Its a frame that has an innate ability to have any combination of weaponry, and, through his abilities, can fire without reloading, wield both weapons simultaneously, and can even dole out ammo for teammates. I have not thought of a name yet, but i am open to suggestions.

Firstly, I'll cover his innate specialty.
He will have the ability wield any combination of weapons, meaning he can have a loadout that consists of 3 secondaries, or two secondaries and a melee weapon, 2 melee weapons and a primary, 2 primaries and a melee weapon, etc. This will allow people to basically be useful in any situation.

His first ability: Ammunition Cache (50 Energy) would generally function the same as an omni ammo box, instantly replenishing all ammo types you and your squadmates. Increasing the mod level increases the range and the amount of ammo replenished.

His second: Cache Fusion (50 energy) fuses his ammo clip with his ammo cache, negating the need to reload for a set amount of time, which increases based on mod level. For example, the Dera, instead of having a display of 45/540, would just display a single number (585) and the player would be able to fire until the number hits zero or when the ability times out. When the ability times out, the ammo will revert to its normal display with a max clip/remaining ammo.

Thirdly: Chamber Overload (0 Energy) Draws from your energy reserve and increases damage by a percentage that increases by mod level. Each bullet you fire will also draw 1 energy from your energy pool. This ability must be used with caution, as it cannot be cancelled until your energy reaches zero. This is to make it seem like 1, an all or nothing, last ditch move for survival, and 2, limits its power. It using it recklessly could leave you in more trouble than you solve with it.

Lastly: Blitzkrieg (100 Energy) allows for simultaneous wielding of any weapon combination for a set amount of time based on the level of the mod. Whilst dual wielding there is no need to reload (has the same effect as Cache Fusion), and if two weapons of the same type are being used, they will share the same pool, so caution is needed (unless you have enough energy to use Ammunition Cache afterwards). This power WILL NOT effect weapons that are already dual (pistols AND melee). If used with melee weapons, each swing will alternate which weapon is used. If you use, say, a Fragor and a Skana, your first swing will be slow and have the properties of the Fragor, but the second swing carries the properties of the Skana. As for charge attacks, the weapon with the longer charge time (after mods) will act as the dual wielding charge time.

As you can see, I've thought this through a bit but I'm sure there could still be improvements to my design. I plan to create a spreadsheet via excel that shows mod costs and percentages soon. Please, share my design and if you have any suggestions don't hesitate to comment. I'll be sure to credit anyone and everyone who helps.

  8. I talked to DE_Steve about this, but ill post it here too in case someone else is having issues. The Stalker Kunai, also known as the Despair has a bug where it will not reload. It simply shows the blue timer reticule and the animation repeating indefinitely. This has caused me alot of trouble, as it makes them completely unusable.

  9. Well, I like RPGs and, by extension, MMOs, so I enjoy the farming aspect. It lets me cut loose and use my cool items and whatnot while I work towards a common goal that I'll attain in time. I mean, I played PSO. Geez, those were bad drop rates, but I did it anyway because I thought it was fun.

Also, I have no idea how you still have time to play anything with a schedule like that, man. Kudos. Still, just because you still happened to be at your computer when the alert hit is due to your schedule. For me, it happend to coincide with a class of mine. I couldn't leave. So...please don't minimize my problem, as it is a real problem and I'm sure as hell not the only one having it.

i got lucky as F*** i know, but so far only 2 things are locked to the alert system. there are WAY more weapons and 12 other warframes that can be earned without using the alert system. youll end up unlocking him while lvling up others.

  10. You are a straight up liar.

I got the Glaive BP on first alert wave. It was around a week after it got released.

not true in the slightest. hold on let me find the tweet

May 1st. and even IF there was a week delay who cares? oooo so you werent the first to have it. as i said in my original post, QQ more.
  11. Excuse me? I was at college, unable to access the Alerts. I have the app, you inconsiderate jerk. I want to EARN my drops, not be at the mercy of an RNG system. I don't think that's too much to ask here!

lmfao i go to college too. FAU class of 2015. and i work 45 hours a week to pay for it all. Dont talk to me about missing alerts. Thats just the way the cookie crumbles. everyone wants something for free but truth be told, F2P is just a business model. you have all the means to get everyhting in the game, sans real money, but if you want everything faster then you gotta pay. thats how the Devs make money. and if you call farming a boss 70 times in a row EARNING anything, youre sadly mistaken.

  12. This is instigatory and doesn't contribute in any meaningful way. Many of us, myself included, gave thorough and reasonable arguements against the Alert system which, let's face it, isn't perfect. I'm trying to be useful. You are not.

lol if you feel as thpugh im calling you out in particular, then you sir are guilty of QQing. i got the glaive blueprint within hours of its release from the alert system. even if you dont feel lke going thru em all, the twitter and nexus app lets you peep the reward before you even log in. stop whining.

  13. I'm going to have to ask if you are crazy.

Overheat is possibly the best ability in her repertoire.

It gives her survivability rivaling any of the defensive frames.

You can get 90% damage reduction with it on. And it applies to shields.

Its just my opinion. calm down. No need for insults. If you've noticed (which you clearly haven't), my suggestions were clearly offense based. I mentioned nothing of defense.
