[Ferrox disappearing after being thrown]

I experienced similar issues with Ferrox disappearing after using alt fire. I was using a secondary as well though. As far as I've observed, it has something to do with the enemy vaporizing on death when the last damage tick comes from the Ferrox's damage over time.The Ferrox starts to vaporize with the target and it'll be unretrievable if you don't pick it up before that vaporizing animation is finished. The Ferrox being unretrievable doesn't look like intentional, because it did return to me when I tossed it on the bubble around arctic eximus and shoot destroy the bubble.

Interesting how the bodies didn't always disappear from the damage over time ticks when I only had Ferrox equipped. Whether this is a bug or a feature, it makes Ferrox's alt fire almost unplayable for me. :(
