  1. Probably because the dialogue options have weight for things to come in the future, and in order to make it replayable DE needs to find a way to make a player's choices set in stone after the first go while making sure any go after that doesn't affect what you've already put.

+++Dalimir.+++ read the message he sent.  +++We need to speak.  When you are able, please meet me in Hydroponics 2.+++

After finally waking from his long slumber, Dalimir was very... unhappy. Both with himself and at the current situation aboard the Manifold. In his state, he had foolishly exposed his intentions to the target, compromising his investigation already. Upon his release from medical, he went to great pains to avoid the Command crew, Tacis and Temperance especially. He had been drunk on pain and anger. he would not make that mistake a second time.

His pistols had already been retrieved for him, and despite Tacis' enforced "Cell size or above" tower groupings, he snuck off the Manifold alone, making his way back to the vault where the Colossus had been contained. Once there, Dalimir moved to finish downloading a copy of the data onto the data crystal he had received from Cephalon Scitarius. It did not matter that the contents of the terminal were practically undecipherable to him. All knowledge is precious, and as per his duty to his clan, he must preserve as many copies of this treasure trove of knowledge as he could, to expand their library. After he had finished that task, he began moving towards the vast library, when a thought struck him as he remembered  the alert issued by Tacis before he had gotten back to the main group. The only way they could have known the Infested were in the tower before Dalimir or Setebos could warn them was if they knew to look for the Infested in their scans already. Seeing as the alert was issued almost immediately before Setebos even contacted Tacis, the only way they could have known, was if someone had felt their presence. He growled. Yet another fact to prove his theory that Temperance was secretly infested with the Technocyte, and recent events proving others did know and were protecting him.

The fools, Temperance is now a ticking bomb, waiting to go off at the right moment and attempt to consume both the ship and its entirely unaware crew. He had to gather proof quickly, take Temperance away from his command position and trap him in heavy quarantine, while attempting to place someone who wasn't an idiot in charge of the ship without making it look like a mutiny or grab for power.

Just before he made his way to the Libraries, his CPID pinged with a message. And of course, it was from Temperance of all people. +++Dalimir. We need to speak. When you are able, please meet me in Hydroponics 2.+++ Damn it all... He thought as he shook his head. Best get this over with quickly. He marched his way over to the requested location, ensuring his twin Magnus pistols were working properly and had full clips. He holstered them just before he entered the room, he looked around, and upon spotting Temperance, he moved toward him, though keeping a healthy distance away from him. Temperance would see that Dalimir was completely tense, and no amount of humour was present in his voice when he spoke. "Temperance. If this is about your shoulder, I'm not apologizing..."

  3. Keep moving, stand still long enough and they'll pounce, slashing at you for heavy damage while all you can do is lie there and take it.

Movement I find is also the best defense from their regular attacks, rolling at the right time as they jump before they slash at you works often for me.

Really all it comes down to is not letting them hit you.

  4. You mean this one?

That'll happen from time to time, here's what it says.

    Void Link Severed

Reason: foreign carrier detected. Origin: unknown. Suspection: tracking signal.
Reinitiating dipolar connection on novel carrier.
Bio in standby for check and sync.
    Motion compensation complete.
    Selenic lensing locked.
    Somatic control established.
    (Margulis) implantation intact.
    EVM status nominal.
    War platform awaiting sync.

Initializing synaptic overlay... Good night, sweet angel.

I'll leave it to you to take any meaning from it.

  5. You can get Sentients to spawn on Lua in only one node that I know of (I haven't tried either of the last 2 nodes, one being defense and the other being either mobile defense or interception) You want the node at the very beginning of Lua that is a crossfire exterminate between the Grineer and Corpus. Let the oculysts that will almost always spawn scan you, and the appropriate amount of Sentient forces will come down to fight you, good luck.

  6. So I've been attempting to hunt Cephalon Fragments as voraciously as possible within the short amount of free time I have available to me, and I noticed that you've especially improved the state of Infested Galleons, bravo. The growth rate sure has gotten mighty aggressive.

A little too aggressive, unfortunately, as the growth is physically preventing a fragment scan in the map tile I prefer to call "The Bridge"

At the top level of this room is the little ramp divided by a small wall that ends at floor level at the top end of the ramp that houses the fragment on top of it. Unfortunately, the growth you've placed covers the fragment entirely and makes it impossible to scan from every angle.

It would be greatly appreciated if things like this could be avoided in the future.

Things would be much easier if they just brought back preview post IMO.

  7. Dalimir rushed into the airlock between the med-bay and the surgical suite. Or at least, rushed as fast as one who was half-stumbling possibly could. He got to the other door only to find that it would not open. He threw his good arm at it a couple of times, obviously to no avail. Finding himself blocked he turned back to find the other door closed and the decontamination sequence cycling, and Cordia inside with him. Of course, of course she would try to block him. She was a part of the inner circle, protector and puppet to the Slithering Snake-thing. The Burrowing Viper.  He growled as he regarded her, Void energy the colour of blood and shadow with the properties of a shadowy mist leaking from the palms of his hands. She was servant of the enemy, and he would overcome every obstacle in front of every secret.

He then visibly stuttered, and the Void energy ceased as he clenched his fists tightly, remembering himself. No, this was a fellow Tenno, and he had no sufficient evidence to lash out and attack everyone around him. He may not be the first to admit his obsessed state, but he is far from mad because of it. He turned back towards the door, awaiting its opening. It was then that he finally began to realize his injuries and their hold over him. His momentum cut, he began to stagger and sway. Unbalanced by the severity of his injuries now that his progressed has ceased.

When the door finally opened, he stumbled inside, before backing up two steps and falling to his knees, his waist no longer able to properly support him. He looked to Tacis and his Kubrow, regarding them for a second before looking to Temperance, and with the last of his strength, spoke. "Slithering Snake, Burrowing Viper, digging, tunneling. Ever closer... inside the mind... Your secrets... WILL be MINE..." And with those words spoken, he only groaned as his eyes lolled into his head, and fell forwards to the ground, finally passing out on the floor as he fully succumbed to his injured state, unaware of the world around him.

  8. Dalimir froze after the gunshot impacted in front of him, his gaze focusing intently on the Mesa. A little too intently. He did not register Jinx or Lancelot as they spoke in response. He simply focused on the words that came out of Sah'jey as she threatened to end him if he did not back down. He picked up on her comment of her being the one to put him out of his misery. He started laughing, and it wasn't born from humour. His laughter was manic, as if something inside him just burst out. Even with his injuries didn't seem to exist to him at this point. When he was finished he spoke, and it was evident that there was a strange edge to his voice.

"Jeopardize him? Harm him? Put him out of his misery? Hahahahahahaha!! I see that pain behind your threat, you plan on having him all to yourself... And you accuse me of wishing to harm him!? That could not be any farther from the truth! I do not plan to harm him, oh no, not yet, most certainly not anytime soon. I do not have the proper base to take such an action. Instead, I shall merely let our dear, sweet, innocent Captain and the slithering snake-thing that resides inside of him that the game is only beginning. The pieces are starting to shift, and the contest becomes more evident with each passing moment!"

He laughs once more, and steps closely to Sah'jey, ignoring the deadly weapon pointed straight at him. "If you wish to end the game before it begins and allow the snake-thing to win, then shoot now. And don't you dare miss..." He growled out the last part as he stepped away, forcing himself closer to the door that Temperance had been placed in despite his current state.
