I don't care what happens to captura as long as they are not in endless reward table, however doing this would make khora the easiest frame to acquire (unless the starting one) EVER.

I don't think it's DE's goal to make a frame so easy to obtain you barely need to farm it.

The thing about milestones, is that you can ADJUST THEM. You can perfectly increase the difficulty by asking higher milestones. What I put was an example, since there's no point on remembering what amount of point I had achieve, I just used big sounding numbers.

The thing about this option, and why I think is better, is because it will solve the watering down of the prices you get from onslaught.

Pointless and on top of it, players will complain about other players cheesing/glitching to get these banners by setting impossible scores.

DE must be responsible of balancing and fixing errors, including ways to cheat the game. Getting points is already useless, going further than the 8th round is only to have fun, and if anything from the forums have showed me something, is that people want more incentives to play the game. It's impossible to do enough content quick enough to make everyone happy, so adding a way to compete is the easiest way to give an incentive to players. Since it's not direct confrontation shouldn't produce too much toxicity anyway.

PS: the fact that I think DE must fix ways to cheat in the game doesn't contradict with the idea of them not being able to make enough content, since not even big companies can do produce so much stuff.

I think we need this thread again :

What reward do you want ?

People keep saying rewards are trash but they aren't saying what they would prefer.

So, my take on what to do with rewards on onslaught:

1.- Get rid of the Khora parts in the rotations, put them as a special reward for achieving certain milestones, like the first time you get to 8th round you get the blueprint, and then, at 500k points, 750k points and 1M points you get the other 3 parts. That way you're encouraged to "git gud". Add the captura scenes from normal onslaught to as an extra reward to each milestone. This should only be the reward from normal onslaught

2.- the relics are fine, but ad a rotation D with axi relics only in elite onslaught, and get rid of the second rotation A, so the rotation looks like this: ABCD

3.- Take all the scenes out of the mode, and add them as milestone rewards for elite onslaught, each one should come with added cosmetics to show off too. (syandanas and armor pieces would be nice). The milestones should work like the normal onslaught, but with adjusted points so it's more difficult.

4.- Lastly, add seasons, where those who are at the top of the rank, get a special banner for the in game profile, this banner is replaced after the player achieves a top rank again in the next season, but stays if the player doesn't achieve it again. Each time the player gets a new banner, a star similar to the one that formaed weapons get to show how many times the player achieved that rank.

Lastly, I'll say this: I'll probably won't even try to get to top rank, but I now that players like to show of what they've achieved, and a peculiar mod won't be enough, I mean, those vandal weapons aren't enough either, since you'll use them once and then throw them with the rest of the mr fodder (unless you have a sick riven for it).

I hope this helps, it’s just an idea from someone that have played too many free and/or competitive games throw the years. 😊

  3. Today, I did a normal sanctuary run, I normally do those alone but this time I forgot to put the game in solo mode, and ended up in a team of 3 randoms, and they died at least 3 times per round each one, from the second round to the 12 where we lost. The point is: it's allways better to have some one doing an amazing job in your team, I would had been happy to have that trin in my team, it's always better to have an awesome player in your team, even if his/her build isn't something you like.

  4. Well, I'm actually having fun with the mode, I'm ok with the prizes even! Maybe because I'm playing solo? who knows, anyway I'm just a noob that struggles to go over wave 9 in 3 tries. But this is just my opinion.

PS: It feels like after each round you should get Simaris rep, since is simaris who gives you this "job". But again, I'm ok with it.

  5. I think this is a design problem, invulnerability isn't fun because you can't do anything about it. For example, I prefer the eidolons when they recover their shields if there's vombalist around because I can do stuff to mitigate its effects, while this mini lephantis in steroids is just a "dodge and wait" thing. The best bosses are those that you can counter via skills and quick thinking.I think this is a design problem, invulnerability isn't fun because you can't do anything about it. 6. To be honest, I get more pissed when there's a Mesa in the team that isn't doing her job: killing stuff.

For example, today I did the defense sortie with Ash, Then I entered a group with a Frost, a Saryn and and a Mesa. We almost lost that fight since Mesa didn't want to ult (maybe she used a low eficiency build or something), some how, since I was invisible 90% of the time, while the clones where doing the job I revived my teammates, and luckily frost bubles help us a lot to stay alive, but if that mesa had been doing her job we could have done that in half the time with half the problems.

  7. So, my little opinion on this: The reason they nerfed Ember's WoF and Banshee's augment is that they were a "set and forget" skill. Meaning you could go watch YouTube while "playing". Now both skills require you to be actually playing the game.

Then, why Trinity+Castanas probably isn't going to be nerfed, just as Mag, Mesa, or Frost? Because you need to be playing the game to use them. I mean, Gara is the newest warframe in the game and she is pretty good at erasing every enemy on a tileset, but she requires you to be doing a lot of stuff (even if simple stuff) to do that.

So no, I don't think nerfing this would be a smart move, but I can be wrong, at the end of the day, this is just the opinion of someone with just 4 months of experience in warframe.

If we get new corrupted mods, the existing ones need a look over. Critical Delay, Tainted Mag, Burdened Magazine, Critical Deceleration, Creeping Bullseye, Magnum Force, Tainted Clip, and Corrupt Charge need buffs. There are also too many corrupted mods in the pool, so maybe split them into different drop pools per mission. In fact, a full Derelict look over would be nice.

I like the idea of a look over to corrupted mods, +1 to this

  9. I use that method with my brother, we farm relics together, let's say we got 5 relics neo f1 relics because we want frost p blueprint, then we both upgrade the relics to max level, and then we open each relic 1 by 1. That way it's impossible that both relics give us the same part, and we have more prices to get! we normally will open all relics together, so we get lots of profit xD

  10. Most bosses are melee viable, even in sorties, you just need a Valkyr/Rhino/Wukong and a big effing melee. A lot of the time hitting an invulnerable enemy still counts for the combo counter.

Eidolons are a little more complicated... but I agree in that there should be more ways to kill them. I think this could be something to be considered in the Plains of Venus. I think making more frames viable in there could be a good idea too.

  11. Ok I've been playing for 93 days now, and about the eidolon fight, remember that being free to choose how to play the game means you are going to have to live (or play) with the consequences of your decision. This game gives a lot of options to tackle it, and eidolons aren't different.

To illustrate my point, the first time I fought an eidolon, I did it with 3 other randoms that decided to kill one after finishing the bounties, but no one had the equipment to kill the thing. I tried to help, but since I knew I wasn't going to be of any help, I decided to concentrate in learning all the attacks the eidolon could do and think in a way to evade them (luckily, the terralyst attacks are pretty easy to counter with some thinking).

I then decided to do some digging in google, and I learned that the eidolon is weak to radiation, and that you needed to get lures to get the best price the boss can give. Reading around I hear that Rhino was one of the meta frames to kill eidolons, so I decided to try using him next time.

So I felt prepared. I took my Vectis prime (without a riven at that point) and my new tier 1 amp and waited until the night in Cetus to go solo the eidolon. Why solo? Because I don't want to be carried by stronger players, I HAVE TO PROVE THAT I CAN DO IT MYSELF. So I did it, I prepared and I succeeded!!

Then I decided to do a public eidolon hunt, everything was going well, but I destroy one of the parts before the lures where ready, some veteran insulted me in the chat and leave. I felt bad, so I decided to learn how lures work. I got to the plains solo and I got a lure, then I got to hunt vombalist to see how they interact with the lures, after doing that I learned all I needed to know, so I leaved Cetus and did the sorties of the day, and I got a riven for my Vectis! I had to reroll it sometimes, but it's a good riven (I think).

So I tried to do an eidolon hunt in public again, and it was awesome! and fast! I managed to do 3 eidolons that night, I stopped a little early because I felt tired, but it was awesome!

Why I tell you this? because I enjoyed every part of it. It was fun to do, and now I can do hydrolist and all! How you play and how you want to confront the problems that the game put in front of you will change your experience.

  12. I'm at day 93, so I haven't got even the first weapon from the daily login, I don't have any problem with the system since I still have a lot to do in the game, and I've played other games with daily rewards before (there are some differences between other games' and warframe's system but that isn't the point). Remember that this is my opinion, and should be taken just like that. About the proposed change of choosing a milestone, everything can be improved, and if there's a way to make the current login reward more flexible, I think it's we should try it, but maybe there's a better way to do it.

Any cosmetic price (like the syandana you get after 800 logins) shouldn't be considered to be given to newer players. You should only be able to get that syandana after 800 logins, not less. The reason to do this would be that each one of the items you get from this system is a "batch of honor", it gives a different status (similar to the excal prime, but in a lesser extend).  The problem here is that the weapons are cosmetics too, just with the added benefit of gameplay changes. But most of the weapons in the daily login have unique mechanics, meaning newer players are getting locked out of those mechanics.

A possible solution would be to add less powerful weapons that use similar mechanics so newer people don't feel like they are losing that much, but part of the fun of the weapons from the login system are the mechanics that came with them, so this solution has the danger of roving part of the unique feel of this weapons.

Other option would be to give a cosmetic gift to the players that already have the items, like skins for each weapon that are exclusive to them, and go forward with the choose your milestone system. The problem here is that the cosmetic variant has to be noticeable enough to not bother the older players and to actually fulfill the idea of the cosmetic.

In conclusion, any change to an old system will have backlash, and could result in a weaker or more unfair system, or it can lead us to a better and more fair system, too. Getting angry about a discussion (for offensive it could seem) isn't going to help at all, we have to be calm to think and get to the best solution possible.

PS: I'm Chilean, so English isn't my first language (and we're famous as being bad at our own language) so sorry for any inconvenience.

  13. Volt is great! I use him as my PoE frame most of the time. I haven't read anything about hating volt, for what I know volt is a meta frame in the eidolon fight, he can clean entire defense tiles quickly and if you want to speed run an alert, he is your boy... why would anyone hate him? maybe it has to do with the platform you're playing in? sometimes a controller with too little sensitivity could make difficult to control a frame with the speed buff.

  14. So, I got a riven with this challenge:

Complete a sortie alone without recibing damage with a hobbled key equiped

(I'm playing the game in spanish so I had to traslate the challenge)

I tryied to do the challenge in a spy sortie with Ivara, but I failed one of the hacks and I got damaged. I finished the mission anyway to do the assassination (the third sortie) and then try to do it again. The second try I didn't get any damage in the mission, so i thought that I was going to get my riven unveiled, but it didn't happend. So the question is: do I need to do the sortie without failing in the first try or maybe I have to try to do the 3 sortie missions?

By the way, the condition of the sortie I tried to do this was "melee only" and is a rifle mod, maybe is because of that?

  15. ok, I don't really know why you say the ai is buggy, it's actually kinda dumb. I mean, you can kill someone like 2 meters behind them and they will not even hear you. I failed this test once, just watch what the guards do and then plan acordingly. By the way, I did this with Mesa and a Dragon Nikana, didn't use the towers or some other trick, I just waited behind cover, then run behind them and pressed "E".
