  1. Same situation here.

I was doing the disruption node as a bounty. The objectives were to find 3 murmur sarcophages. I couldn't find an outdoor tile so I figured they must be hidden somewhere. I'd already done my four disruption towers and I was playing solo so I was taking my time exploring the puzzle/hidden rooms and trying to get into them.

I'd eventually gotten to the podium room (where you have to shoot four glyphs to activate them) and was hunting down the last glyph when I got hit with a mission timeout and failed the bounty.

I am quite annoyed that there are things to explore but we're not allowed to do it.

  2. I was running a corpus defence on Jupiter using my cloak arrow to keep the operative hidden. All was well whilst we were in the centre of the map. When I tried to move to a side room, the operative began following me and then disappeared. He wasn't hidden somewhere getting shot; his health remained the same and then the mission failed. It's as though he fell off the map, fell for bit and then died.

I then went into the next arbitration, another Corpus defence and there no operative at all. I aborted and then went back and there was still no operative. The screenshot below shows no waypoint (the full map is open on the right) and no operative on the centre platform either.

  3. I've been on a quest for more challenge. I've solo'ed everything in the game: Tridolons (I'm slow, but still), Railjack, John Prodman, etc. Right now I'm on my 50th Lich with the aim to farm all the ephemera and improve my kuva weapons' elemental stats - but this is going to be done soon and then that's another personal challenge done. Survivals have become boring since the enemy nerf and those were my main go-to missions when I wanted to have some fun.

Arbitrations are maybe a little more challenging now (especially with the infested doing more damage) but there's only so much endo and sculptures that I can stomach before I've had enough (seriously - 100 waves of defence and only 6 non-endo rewards!). And what on earth am I supposed to do with all the vitus essence I have? It's fast become a redundant currency.

I've started trying to run Lich missions with frames that aren't suitable for the mission type but they are not fun at all - although I have learnt a few more things from it.

All in all, I'm getting a little dejected at how the game is gradually being skewered more towards the newer players. Whilst I understand the move, I do so wish that there were missions that started at higher levels with rewards to match. Cosmetics limited to only those who have participated in these missions would be fine by me if DE doesn't want to mess up the power balancing.

Having said all of that though, T5 survivals are nice. I'm not fed up with those yet... except those damned amber stars in the requiem relics... Why DE??? WHY? Of course the solution to minimise getting an amber star from a requiem relic is to play with a squad - I know - but I like to be able to pause the game and see to my children and be able to answer the phone when a client calls me (yes, yes, I work from home and play during working hours when I want to).

Sorry, I've digressed and ranted enough. In short, I'm with OP on this. If we could have missions that start at a higher level and present suitable rewards then I would be happier.

  4. I'm using Zenurik's Void Singularity and Magus Lockdown to group enemies together and reduce their health by about half. The Magus Lockdown mines deal significant amounts of damage due to the high health pool of these enemies and their armour to health ratio seems to be lower than standard Grineer so Magus Lockdown seems to be more effective.

I finish them off with a condition overload Kronen Prime built with viral and some additional slash. I'll try a build with Blood Rush if necessary later on, but this works really well for me all the way through the to final Veil nodes. I've had fun with the Telos Boltace too: Stormpath can be quite handy if you don't want to run with Zenurik.

Frame-wise, I favour Baruuk built with very high strength. Press 3 for damage reduction which will also disarm enemies and stun then for a moment. You only need 9 daggers for defence, the remaining 15 odd daggers are for disarming and stunning enemies which is more than enough. If things get sticky, hit 2 to lull the enemies to sleep. Works on sentients too.

But if I had to only choose one key item for fighting these enemies (and sentients), it would be Magus Lockdown.
