  1. Hello,

Just came back to WF after a multi-year break.  Wanted to play the New War quest.  Ground out a Railjack & Necramech.  Started the quest and got to Teshin. Made it to the second typholyst and it disappeared. I just turned around and it was gone. Health bar was still visible at 10% health remaining. Now it seems I can't progress any further.  Some searching online suggests this is an age old bug from the NW release. It seems the only thing you can do is exit and restart the Teshin mission and hope it doesn't happen again... which it did.

Any plans on fixing this bug or should I just go play something else?

  3. Hey DE,

Is this by design?  Just tested this in the simulacrum and it appears to be doing damage but no proc.

Also, seems like the cloud should actually proc gas.... since, you know, it's gas. Toxic Lash already does toxin so this should be a gas proc.

It's never going to compete with with a straight spore power build so why not revert the range/damage boost and use this augment to synergize with Condition Overload melee builds by applying a guaranteed status effect over a longer duration??

I could see giving up some spore power or range for that (in it's current state.... no).

Contagion Cloud - Toxic Lash Augment - Saryn

    • Allow gas cloud to activate when enemy is killed by DOT
    • Increased cloud duration to 18 seconds
    • Guaranteed gas proc with 2x status effect duration
  4. I don't think *all* the "bits" of the frame are infested tissue.  It would stretch my imagination to its limits that an infested human mutated and somehow generated coat-tails and a hat on its own (Limbo). You could never make that believable (for me). The humanoid parts sure, but the skirts, coat-tails, danglies, and gold-bits (on primes) I assume to be prosthetics the Orokin attached to the raw frame so as to fight their war in fashion ("the vain faith" for an era of arrogance maybe??).  Nidus is probably the most raw form with all other frames, Umbra included, having a synthetic shell and bits grafted over them. Just my take.

More concerning is that the Helminth, which I assume translates to "mad scientist chair" used/uses humans as a host.  So where is our Helminth getting the humans to start the process for the foundry? Is Ordis secretly programmed to abduct humans while you're out on a mission? Cold storage on the Orbiter? Mail order?  At this point it seems like you need a human to kick things off which, if true, will really play hell with operator morality in later updates (maybe?? who knows??).

  5. Doesn't bother me.  I tried it and saw that it wasn't available and went "meh", I get why.  Umbra's and Prime's don't mix. Really just wanted to see what it looked like more than anything. If it happens fine, if not fine. Will happen anyway if we get another Umbra, although I'm not expecting another Umbra based on the last quest. However, the fact that we have Umbra mods does leave a big giant door open for them.

I always test a weapon out on Apollodorus, Mercury a bit before judging if I'm gonna keep it or not. I do admit after 20 minutes of Apollodorus I then head to Draco to top it off. If anything you should just hope you get lucky when inviting someone to be a skilled player because there really is no good way to tell.

^^^^This is what I do, but I'll generally go as long as I can on Apollo. You can tell a lot about the potential of a weapon and/or it's fun factor when it's un-modded.

Yeah only the first hop would differ since it's not having to leave your local network.

    Here's mine for comparison.

4.68.62.50 is owned by a backbone, the later two are in Cali and Delaware owned by "Black Lotus Communications", but uh, it looks like DE poked the right people to get it fixed.

No they are not the same, the second one shows a Roadrunner server (66.109.7.162) located out near Wichita, KS, which Google reports as down. Oddly, I'm getting high pings via the tracert to that server and some RTO's to warframe.com but I'm up to 100 KB/s on the download.

  8. FYI, I rebooted my modem, unplugged the cable between my router and modem, unplugged my computer network cable from my router and plugged it directly into the modem (bypassing the router) and I'm downloading at a whopping 17 KB/s.

    EDIT: Still using Google DNS.

  9. Yeah, PG should bypass ALL resistances for all types of enemies. It should be a directed nuke. First time I fired it off I was utterly underwhelmed. Now using Naramon and Zenurik. Remove the resistances and I'll use it again.
