  1. Mind you, the WoL-EV combo with four Trinity's destroys Phorid in seconds.

It's kind of broken, but really nice.

Now I'm confused.  Did EV get changed since the last time it was changed because I remember people complaining that the new changes killed Trinity?  I only play Trinity in casual play, so I didn't notice any game breaking pro builds.

  2. Great commentary on the synergisms with Trinity's new powers.  I haven't played with Trinity in multiplayer yet after her powers were changed, but I feel like she is definately more well rounded.  While Trinity cannot be forever invincible anymore using link, the new powers encourage skill and planning to maximize their potential.

  3. it could be a harder boss.. i found that it did little dmg.. and was ez to dodge.. all the stuff is there and it was a really really fun boss, but it could have like 2 more animations that do like aoe dmg around it or something. the main boss was easier than the boss on the top floor ish.. fun overall tho

Many of the attacks were very easy to dodge, but part of the fun was discovering the best way to dodge them.  Some of the attacks could be buffed due to how easy they can be dodged like the giant scyth head.  I only got hit by the scyth when I stood still and let it hit me, and I was disappointed that I didn't die.  The unavoidable attacks on the first part were annoying.  The heads have like perfect accuracy when popping out of the ground and they were constantly causing my frame to stumble all over the place.  I died twice on the first part because I got stunlocked.

All in all, great boss - my new favorite boss.  Just buff the main attacks and nerf the weak attacks because dying from loss of player control feels cheap not difficult.

  4. For being a level 50 boss, he is really tough ... to solo.  The fact that only M. Prime and Rhino Stomp affects him means that any other frame is at a severe disadvantage when fighting him.  Also, direct damage abilities doing no damage prevents people from playing as a caster frame, and effectively limits the amount of playstyles one can choose.  I propose that direct damage abilities should hurt him when hitting a weak spot, but de-buffs should have no effect.

  5. BTW, we need some clarification here on Sentinel weapons. Scott says you can equip any Sentinel weapon on any Sentinel and mentions Dethray which is not a Sentinel weapon, that is a Sentinel ability. The UI shot leans it to be the actual weapon and no the ability but we need some clarification.

Maybe he means that every sentinel can equip every precep, but that seems over-powered.

  6. I agree with everything you have written, and now I also feel guilty for having used snow globe on Raptor so many times.  Admittedly, I fought him legitly my first time, but when you need to grind the same boss 20 times for bps, you tend to be lazy and cheap.  Changes to these powerful abilities will reduce the effectiveness of some frames, but I do believe they are necessary for the greater good.  I just hope if snow globe is nerfed, then Frost's other abilites are looked at in greater detail because currently snow globe is the only reason for anyone to get a Frost.  However, if snow globe got tweeked, it could allow for much more in-depth gameplay.

On a side note, I really like the new changes to Trinity.  She can now serve her support role in a greater way with the buffs to Well of Life and Energy Vampire (not to mention the neat synergism between those two powers).  The change to Link was a little disappointing, but the damage reduction is great enough to save her when she gets ambused.  Also, the increase to Link's range means that Link will almost always be effective.  No more running away while linked only to realise there are no enemies close enough around to have Link transfer any damage and then dying.

Keep up the great work DE!  Everyone hates change, but as long as you changes are well thought-out and appropriate, we can cope.

  7. Also known as the Fomorian event....

Mini-Fomorian events would be fun like have one fomorian ship that needs to be destroyed in 24 hours or suffer resource shortages.  This also wouldn't break the lore either because the Corpus suspected that not all of the Fomorians were destroyed.

  8.

Soul Punch seems to be useful only against weak targets.

I'm thinking the other way around.  If Soul Punch deals a percentage of the enemies health, then theoretically heavier enemies with higher levels will be dealt more damage than weak enemies.  It seems to me that Soul Punch is useless against weak enemies but amazing against level 100 enemies when all other weapons and powers deal around 1% of the enemies health.

  9. My good buddy fish is correct. I do think they should play the extraction cutscene when it gets to 0% to make it more clear though.

That should occur but it doesn't. Even the enemies do not stop shooting. I have seen my Tenno die during the mission complete screen.

  10. Lol, when I see rhinos Idle stance, i see him being a stuck up and self centered warframe. Going OI, I'M BIGGER THAN YOU, GET OUT OF MY WAY BECAUSE I'M BIGGER.

Its just me, but I personally don't like it.

Frosts is a little similar, but he just stands up straight... basicly.

I must note, agile stance's just don't work on either of them XD

I actually like Rhino's agile stance.  He is low to the ground and looks very stable.  I just don't like how he cocks his head as if he is listening to something.  Rhino doesn't seem like the frame that would be concerned about his surroundings.

  11. I literally seen a rocket do a right angle

i should of took a picture lol

The Bombard rockets are homing and will follow you where every you go.  They are not that bad because they are so slow and the explosion is small.  The Napalm explosion is massive.  I start running as soon as I see the napalm rocket and I still get hit by the explosion.  I am a good 30m away from where it hit.

  12. No he became pretty predictable quickly. Regardless of farming.

Any boss becomes predictable after being beat 10-20 times (and I am talking about any boss in any game).  Vor is hands down the best boss in this game in terms of complexity.  He could be better and he is kind of easy, but he is also the first boss.
