    does your pc/laptop internet adapter have ability to host network? (hotspot) if does just use that hotspot while connected to free vpn, BUT the internet sharing source must be from the vpn ethernet connection, you can google the rest

    Thanks. Was actually trying to avoid all that, but looks like I have no choice. Currently setup two extra laptops at home, one for my younger brother and I. Using a free VPN that gives 300mb allocation daily; more then enough for just warframe. Speed is a bit slow at only 2.5Mbps up/down, using a U.S. IP, but definitely playable. Fiber connection used is at 25up/down.

    ...so basically, since my ISP has not adopted ipv6 yet, I’m pretty much screwed. What I don’t get is that this only started after the migration to the switch. My PC account was working just fine with my ISP prior to the switch launch. 

  3. That’s what pisses me off. It is the IP that is blocked rather than the account. Account blocks I can understand, but an IP block? At launch? What for? That affects too many people. At my house, 3 of us have Switches. We ALL can’t play using our fiber connection due to this blockage. It’s just stupid.

    That’s still means you need to pay for a reliable VPN right? Philippines as well here. Converge fiber home internet blocked. 

  5. Website login works fine. Game updating works fine.

    On the pc, after the launcher updates, the next screen shows my character Octavia kneeling down, and asks me to log in. When I input my correct username and password, I get the Failed Check Details error. If I use a VPN, it logs in just fine.

    On the Switch however, after the launcher launches, it doesn’t even show my character kneeling (just a generic Rhino), then it automatically returns with a Failed Check Details error. When I click on the terms and conditions link, it opens up the website home page. If I try to log in (on the Switch browser), the Captcha check doesn’t work. Again, no issue if I use my wife’s mobile phone data. 

     

  6. What’s funny is, I did not have this problem prior to migrating my pc account to the switch. Using the same home wifi and my pc account prior to the switch launch, I was able to play the game smoothly without issues. After migrating, my IP gets blocked. Good job, DE. 

  7. That’s unfortunately not the case for some of us. When on the PC, game doesn’t work under normal conditions (getting a login failed/check details error). If we use a VPN, no issues, can login. Unfortunately, getting a VPN for the switch isn’t exactly peanuts. Basically, their security system has blocked our IPs. Reason? Who frickin knows. This only happened after migrating the pc account to the switch. And now, even my backup mobile data connection which was working since launch day, ALSO got blocked. Geez, it’s like they are actively wanting me to quit. Already sent a support ticket but highly doubtful I’ll get anywhere now. 

  8. I was never able to log in via my home wifi. Always had login failed error since day 1. Forced to use my mobile data to play. Just today, even my mobile data is giving me login failed error. Tried with a different carrier, also failed error. I am now unable to play simply because I can’t login via any internet sources. Asia here. DE, fix this. 

  9. I am still getting the login error. I migrated from PC; was able to log in with a fresh account prior to migration, but after the migration I started getting the 'credentials wrong' error.
