  1. If not instant, at least the speed of Speed Holster should be default. It's too clunky right now, the system registers your command of switching weapons, even before the animation of switching ends, and because of that, what happens is sometimes you click the button twice accidentally(because you know, you're surrounded by enemies) and you switch the weapon again, going back to the weapon that you don't want, it's kinda annoying really.

Given how Warframes are created as per The Sacrifice, I'm not entirely convinced there was or really could have been much of a purpose behind the individual designs of the Warframes. I never got the impression that the Orokin had any greater control over what each Warframe would turn out as than they did over the Tenno who commanded them.

It's more like they don't want to really touch the subject right now, and since Leverian is just a side thing, they don't want it to be the one to explain the deep lore. But abou the Orokin, I think they had some control when creating the Warframes, like when DE still used to release Prime Trailers, the way Ballas used to introduce the Warframe, it was like a sculpture that he carefully designed, it was a beautiful man...

  3. I agree with you, Titania Prime is probably gonna be the next prime, and all the investment I did with her and her pistols a week ago are gonna be thrown in the trash. People are suggesting the same for weapons, I disagree with that, simply because weapons are way more complicated, you have Prime, Wraith, Prisma and Vandal versions, each of them have their individual riven dispositions and stuff, also some weapons like the Cernos Prime behave completely different from the normal version, so they're basically another weapon, so it's a way more complicated situation, but Warframes are different, there's just primes and all of them are just stat improvements.

  4. As lore fanatic, Leverian sounds really awesome to me, I'm always hungry for more bits of lore, specially about the warframes themselves, because it's something that was suprisingly still not very touched in the game, a lot of Warframes were just released into the game without much explanation about who they are, it's good to know more about them. But there's a subject that I wish it was more touched with Leverian, which is the origin of said Warframe. What do I mean by that? The Leverian usually tells us about events that the Warframes took part in the past, and that's really cool, but would be great if it also could tell us more about the origin of the Warframes, like the motivation behind the creation of that Warframe. For example, Vauban was created to deal with the Corpus insurrections, if I recall correctly. It could tell us things like that, the story behind the creation and stuff, that's why I wonder why it's not Ballas or someone close to him that helped in the creation of the Warframes who talks in the Leverian, the Leverian could be like an archive of his notes or something, but anyway, I'm kinda deviating from the topic here, but you guys got the idea right? More focus on the origin story of the Warframes, it's good to learn stories about them in action in the past, but their origin need some dedicated space too.

  5. Some older Warframes have really bad textures, they look kinda "glossy" like if they were drenched in oil, it looks really ugly, some of the worst cases are Nova, Ash and Zephyr, old helmets from the majority of the Warframes also suffer from the same problem. The issue becomes especially more prominent if you use darker colors. I know you guys are very busy doing a lot of other important stuff, but I don't know, perhaps hire some TennoGen artists to rework the textures or something like that, I'm sure they would do a great job considering their texture work is always top notch. Steve is always trying to make the game look better with new effects and rendering techniques, the game is getting prettier with every passing day, but some Warframes are being left behind, you gotta buy skins or use prime variants for them to look good, and that's not really great.

So basically you're wanting the Kuva Liches to be nothing more than bullet sponges like the Wolf of Saturn Six?  No thanks.  I might accept it if we can abort them losing the materials stolen in the process. But trying to make him a bullet sponge too is waste of time for a payout riddled with needless duplicates and loss of temporary mods.

You're right on the rest of it though, it's needless grind, needless player punishment and is currently in a holding pattern while DE tries to keep their promise about Emperium/Railjack/whatever-the-new-code-name is and its release.

They would be bullet sponges without the Parazon mods, if you think you could handle them that way, you could feel free to try, otherwise just try out some combinations of Parazon mods to weaken the Lich, until you can deal with him.

  7. Now, let's be honest here, the Kuva Lich system has a lot of issues, but I still have faith in it, I still believe that with a few changes, it could turn into an enjoyable part of the game, so I got a few suggestions that could really improve the experience. So let's begin:

We've all expected the Liches to be a challenge, a true enemy of the player, a nemesis, but the Lich itself is pretty weak, the difficulty lies in the RNG wall of killing a Lich, which are farming the mods and getting the right combination of mods. The problem is that I don't think receiving an insta-death just because you haven't farmed enough or you've put the mods in the wrong order is fair, you're being punished for not having luck basically, that's not how difficulty works, it's not fun or challenging in any way. How to improve that: Remember the Wolf of Saturn Six when they released him? That dude was strong, REALLY strong, to be honest he did a better role of Nemesis than the Liches are doing right now, he had no RNG insta-death, he was just tough as hell. What does that have to do with the Liches? Well, this is how the Liches should be, but even stronger than him, they should be a really, really, really tough enemy, with status resistence, a ton of damage resistence and with a lot of damage. "Oh, but that would be unfair, cause not everyone has maximized builds and stuff", exactly, and that's where the Parazon mods would play their role, each mod you get right would weaken the Lich, like a poison. Let me simplify how I envision the Lich system with my changes: You get a Lich, you keep playing the game normally, eventually the Lich invades your mission, he takes almost no damage and even his breath can kill you even if you have a really strong setup, you take his shield down and attack him with the Parazon, nothing happens with him cause you have no mods equiped, then he throws you away, he hangs around for a bit then runs away. Then you put some Parazon mods, and eventually he spawns in other mission, you take his shields again and attack him with the Parazon, now you have one of the right mods, you poisoned him with the Parazon, now he doesn't have that much damage, it's still tanky, but with less damage, with a second right mod, he would get a little more vulnerable, when you eventually get the entire  combination, he will be very weak, and you will be able to slay him easily. The mod slot limits could be expanded to more than 3 to maybe 5, to make things a little bit harder, but the mods also would need to be easier to farm. You could slay the Lich with no Parazon Mods or with the incomplete sequence of mods? Maybe yes, maybe not, but you could sure try, you could organize a very coordinated party, gear up to the limits and try to fight the Lich, and that's where the fun lies, trying to maximize you potential, that was always the primal objeticve in a Looter Shooter, and Warframe doesn't have it, but here's the opportunity for a bit of that. Killing Liches right now is a chore, doesn't matter if you're a veteran or a new player, it's basically the same process everytime, but with this change, that would be no longer a problem, cause if you're an experienced player, killing a Lich would probably be way easier than for a new player. These changes wouldn't make the system perfect, but sure as hell it would make it better, what do you guys think?

  8. DE should just straight up buff the abilities when they think about adding a charge mechanic to them. Most of the abilities that you charge are weak, why you have to charge them for a minimum buff? Warframe is a fast pacing game, charging theses abilities is just painful.

I think you kind of missed my point: I'm not asking for Volt's 1 to be as powerful as his 4, I'm asking for it to not just be a baby version of his 4. Sure, the 1 doesn't have an animation lock, but at the end of the day both overlap heavily in that they provide hard CC, something his 4 does far better anyway on top of also having superior damage, as well as some personal survivability if you equip the augment (which you should if you're going for a Discharge build). In this respect, I think the problem actually comes from Volt's 4, rather than his 1, because his 4 does a whole bunch of things at once, when already turning enemies into Tesla towers is arguably a pretty good enough effect on its own. If his 1 provided better CC and his 4 supplemented damage instead (that would be improved by locking nearby enemies down together via CC), the redundancy would be taken care of.

Basically the same problem Vauban has. I agree, a few tweeks wouldn't hurt, perhaps tying his 1 stun duration to duration mods or something.

There's really no meat to the OP, but I can agree that Volt could use some improvements: his 1 is still pretty redundant in the face of his 4, and his 2 and 3, while individually useful, don't really interact with each other or the rest of his kit. Whereas frames have been pushed towards having more cohesive kits, Volt mostly feels like a bag of tools that don't really have anything to do with each other, and so doesn't flow as well as many others. There's also the enduring problem of his Speed making it more difficult for allies to control their movement, a problem I think needs to be solved by making the ability's bonus opt-in somehow for allies, rather than opt-out.

Dude, the thing is, 1 doesn't lock you in animations and it has pretty cheap energy cost, they don't have the same usage applications. And you don't expect his first ability to have the same impact of the ultimate, right? It's just cheap CC, has its uses.

  11. I've noticed that recently they made some changes to Vauban Prime visuals, for some reason his "skirt"(I call it skirt because haven't found a name for it) is now permanent in all of his TennoGen and default skins, you just can't remove it, that is kinda annoying for me because it ruins some of my fashion. Is this intentional, or perhaps just a bug? Anyway, the idea isn't bad by itself because the skirt can fit well in some cases, but my advice is to turn it into an optional attachment, similar to Valkyr's Chordalla Prime, so you can use it as you see fit, more options when the matter is customization are always good. For some reason I can't use the "Insert image from URL" option to show what I'm talking about, so I'll just leave the link to the image here: https://imgur.com/a/qZBekpQ

You don't need to do all tasks to get to Rank 30 with Nightwave,
this is not something that everyone is expected to easily complete 100%.

As long as the tasks don't involve THE CONCLAVE, I don't really have a problem with some being ones I'd rather skip.

Oh no, not the Conclave, anything but the Conclave, don't give them ideas.

  13. First of all, Nightwave is an awesome idea, great mode that gives you incentives to play what the game has to offer. BUT and a big but, why some of the challenges must be so annoying? Like, really not everyone likes to play with friends or clan mates, not everyone have max standing with the stupid Solaris United, not everyone wants to spend the Forma they won from this very own event just to complete a mission. Be more creative please, I know you can do better.

  14. Did DE took some inspiration from Halo's Flood when designing the Infested? They basically have the same concept and very similar appearance, a sentient(and when I say sentient, I'm not refering to the Warframe faction, but rather to the meaning of the word itself) mutation form, originated from a super evolved civilization, which wants to consume all living matter in the universe, it absorbs its victims mutating and turning them into mindless pawns of its will, thus creating armies in short periods of time. I know the actual origin of the Flood and the Infested are pretty diferent, but they are pretty similar in general. What do you guys think?

Yes, you could say that. Since Nidus was quite hyped ofc they made sure to have it out there asap, since people will definetly buy it. It can also be tied to possible reworks, so who knows if a possible Vauban rework is in the works. Specially since it's a requested rework along with Titania and Wukong.

Yeah, could be a thing, they'll probably say something about the skin tomorrow. I'm hoping for it to launch next week, but if it's tied to a rework could take a lot more, but if that's case I wouldn't mind, since Vauban really needs one.

Depends who is working on it, along with other projects they may have, at least your not waiting on Zephyr delux that was teased, 3 years now?

It looks like that the less popular the frame, the longer it takes for the skin to launch... Poor Zephie...

What of it? I get that you want it, if it's of your personal preference, but these things take time. Wait, then savour it even better.

Everyone is happy because they got their shiny Nidus skin, but I don't play Nidus, so I'm pissed just like every Nidus player was a week ago, just that.
