it is sometimes better to solo so he can learn and figure stuff out at his own pace than having to deal with a 5yr vet clearing the map before hes figured out how to reach the objective
True, early on it's helpful to learn the mission types, tile sets and general scheme of things but once you hit Ceres you won't really want to be using a training frame :)

so in terms of the map, if you can go there, try it and see what happens?
I'm just over a month in and luckily have the help of a well established clan to share mods and information, so the best advice I can give right now is definitely spend your starting platinum on weapon slots and even more so, warframe slots.
Hit the star chart and you will start on Earth. Look closely and you'll see joining lines to the next planet (sometimes multiple). Each junction (connection to opening up another planet) has certain requirements to unlock and are clearly set out from the rest with a different symbol and dotted lines, then you need to face a warframe spectre and defeat it - they get harder as you progress.
Lastly, try not to solo too much unless you have a high rank or "reacted" warframe (Orokin Reactors double capacity of your warframe) with strong ranked up mods. There's a lot to take in to start off with but just take in and learn each section and move on to the next and the pieces will come together. Don't be afraid to ask the in game chat or forums for questions. Also the wikia is your friend, go through every page and have a quick read if you can: http://warframe.wikia.com/wiki/WARFRAME_Wiki
Enthralled Enemies and the Arca Plasmor
in General
Posted
Hi there! I’m on Xbox and I noticed that I cannot kill enthralled enemies while playing as Revenant using the Arca Plasmor. I’m unsure if this bug has already been fixed in a newer version yet to come to console or if the bug is yet to be identified. Cheers!
