  1. I was doing an orokin defense for the daily sortie, and I noticed something weird. Whenever I would use Nidus' Virulence (first move), it would do ZERO damage to shielded enemies. It would show a gray '0' indicating that the enemy is invulnerable. But it would do normal damage to non-shielded enemies. Has this happened to anyone else?

    You do realize who Darvo is, right...? I think you got Darvo and Barro mixed up there.

    Darvo is the corpus guy you save in Vor's prize, who also sells you weapons for cheaper plat costs. Barro is the guy in the relays who sell you stuff for ducats.

  3. I just wish they did what Brozime suggested for this system. Make transmutation completely free for everybody, just like normal transmutation. And make the new eidolons drop a locking mechanism, which would be a one time use item, that would make it so you could lock a certain stat on a riven permanently so that it never changes when you reroll.

    That would make it a lot more engaging, imo. Not sure theyre going to do that, but we can hope.

  4. Having only completed a few earth missions, you arent even close to being ready for anything past the first or maybe second bounty in PoE. I would recommend completing the entire star chart before you attempt anything above those two bounty levels. The leveling in PoE when it comes to bounties ramps up very fast, and they arent meant for new players like yourself. Get some better gear, level up your frame, do most of the quests, and then return to PoE and you should be good to do most if not all of the bounty levels.

    You'll get there :)

    After looking over the build you provided, my first advice is to remove the magazine warp and hammer shot and focus on maxing out your serration and split chamber as those are your 2 most important mods when speaking of just raw damage. And also swap your stormbringer with a max High Voltage because that lvl 6 mod only gives you +15% electricity when you could swap it with a lvl 7 high voltage that gives +60% electricity and +60% status.

    This revised build has now over 3 times the dps as the build you gave me. So maxing those mods make a big difference!

    My conclusion is that forma is very easy to come by but quite necessary if you want to take on the high level content in this game. Now melee for you doesnt seem very much of a problem, and thats because melee is the most overpowered thing in this game. They outperforms even the best primary or secondary in the game, if you mod them correctly. So if you want your weapons to be close to using melee, forma is necessary. Hope this helps :)

  6. Its because they have p2p hosting so that they dont have to make their own servers. Your lag that youre experiencing is from someone in your group that was chosen to be the host that has a poor internet connection. So its not DEs fault that youre having a bad experience. However, their decision making for making someone a host needs to be changed because it isnt perfect.

  7. So this bug has been around for quite a long time and I figured it would eventually be fixed, but it doesn't seem like it has yet. I believe this has been here since I gained more 1 million salvage, but as you can see below, it shows 999,999 salvage, but then shows salvage two more times, each showing only 1 in the top corner. This doesn't happen with any other components I have that are over 1 million. Its not game breaking, but its been in the game for me for quite a long time.

  8. I mean this has been in the game since the beginning but Ive always wondered why this is a thing. If these mods actually scaled with lvl 30 health and shields, then warframes wouldnt be as squishy as they are today.

    Idk about you, but a Frost w 2k shields (without overshields) sounds pretty nice to me!

  9. Im not sure if this is intended or not, but whenever Im using undertow, im spending way more energy when i use tidal surge than I should. I think its because its still draining energy with the 'undertow draining more energy when moving'. If this is intentional, then theres no use using tidal surge when it already has half of its range when in undertow.

  10. Hydroid is one of my favorite warframes thematically but is one of my least favorite to play (even after this 'Revisit'), and a lot of other people feel the same way. Can there seriously be an ability overhaul on Hydroid instead of putting 'band aids' on his current abilities. Most of the people who have played Hydroid think his 3 is the worst ability in his kit (its been a meme since he was created), yet it was decided to make the rest of his kit synergize around this not-so-useful ability. Is there any plans to remove this ability, because now it just makes him a shepherd of enemies which doesnt seem like a lot of fun in a very fast paced shooting game.

    How do you have a riven that increases and decreases status at the same time? lmao

     

    But anyways, viscous spread is a terrible mod for the kohm because it makes the spread unusable unless you want to be in the enemies face. I personally use shotgun spazz and tainted shell. It reduces the pellet spread to a very small area and it still gives me positive fire rate.

     

  12. I honestly think that his undertow should be a ranged cast move, rather than putting Hydroid out of combat just to CC enemies. He should be able to just cast undetow and place a 'puddle' on the ground to CC enemies.

    I also feel that his tentacle swarm just isnt a good ability. It has the same problems as Zephyr's Tornadoes. They are a very good hard CC ability but it makes it very hard to kill the enemies that its CC'ing. I would much rather have a new ability rather than using this mediocre CC ability. I'm not sure what to switch it out with, but I just know that ability just doesnt work very well.

    The changes and forced synergy has made his kit very much worse than before. His dmg "scaling" is just non existent (in fact it makes his 1 have worse dmg), and making his buffs that he had before on his 2 now only proc when you use 2 and 3 together just makes him a spam warframe, which hes not meant for that.
