    A) Thank you

    B) You're quite right IRL a shotty will do alot more damage at close range with a single round, thus breaching "tools" 🙂.

Game mechanics don't always allow for the reality of the situation.. in warframe with few exceptions a shot gun is just a shot gun, while IRL gauge, barrel length and choke make large differences in performance, they don't seem to factor in anywhere that they tell you about.. just A does more damage than B or holds more rounds or something else of that nature.

To make things more understandable I think for people with no real firearms exp.

Combine this with say a game like AARMA and we'd see much more realistic weaponry.

  2. First off if you're reading this you're probably frustrated. Take a breath, things will be better soon.

The Rank 17 test is so far, the roughest in my opinion.

To anyone that claims to have run this, AND beat it on the first attempt without any practice, YOU Sir and/or Madam are an amazing gamer and worthy of my admiration. You can stop reading now and move on with your truly epic career in professional competitive gaming! Go on... there's the door, don't let it hit ya where the good lourde splitya..

Alright my friends, breathe.... you can do this. Understand this basic concept... it's not about killing fast. Not the way I beat it. What it is, is a race to get from one orb to the next before the timer runs out. The fact that you'll kill 30 enemies while doing it is gravy.. Don't misunderstand me though, you will need to have a bit of skill and an amount of luck.

    What you'll need.

    • A fast frame, preferably one that possesses a passive damage ability. No.. I'm not going to list them all here, you're MR16 you know.. stuff.. use it.
    •  a Melee weapon with a fast attack... at least 1.0.. you'll be happier trust me.
    • an amount of Large squad energy restores, 2 if you're lucky.. more if you're not.
    • A fresh reserve of patience.. you know like the one you had when you tried to run this test the first time.

    What you're up against.

    • Terrain that exists no where else in the game, but looks alot like Simaris's crib and is sadly the only thing NOT random in this test.
    • Time wasting delays between orb spawns
    • clocks that seem to not run consistantly
    • physics that work contrary to the rest of the game
    • Infested nasties

My go to frame for this travesty, Nezha rank 30 no Forma.   Str 130%, Rng 100%, Eff 130%, Dur 169%. Mods; Armored Agility (full), Vigor (full), Primed Flow (R7), Augur Message (full), Primed Continuity (R8), Streamline (full), Intensify (full), the 8th slot is empty. I also have  Speed drift (full) in the Exilus slot, but if you don't have one you can just drop it in the empty slot 8. Aura doesn't matter so much but Energy Siphon (full) is probably your best bet. DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT run Infested Impedance! IF you have room you could add something like Firewalker or Mobilize to make getting to the upper level easier/faster..

Nezha has 2 handy abilities for this, His (1) Fire Walker, and his (3) Warding Halo. Both will damage enemies passively, and Fire Walker boosts his speed 20%.

What to do and what to watch out for.

Before you start, I recommend turning down the brightness (in game settings) about 20 points.. unless you like doing picture puzzles of white cats juggling cotton balls in the snow. Doing this will help you see your path a little better. Next put the Energy Restore(s) on your gear wheel and if you haven't set a keybind do so, I use my number pad keys. Using a keybind gives you one key press instant access to things on your gear wheel. But you're MR16.. you know this already.. sorry.

    Onward!

After the opening cut scene, when space Mom stops talking, you will still be snowblind AND you're going to hear a GONG sound. DROP THAT ENERGY RESTORE NOW! By the time the sound of the first energy pulse ends your eyes are open and you're looking at the face of your frame. Press 3 (Warding Halo) 💓{heart beat}💓 Press 1 (Fire Walker) ** (or whatever number your frames passive damage ability is mapped to)** 💓{heart beat} 💓

Now, do not Immediately begin running! TURN THE CAMERA TO FACE THE "FIELD" or else you'll run right off the edge... like I did... twice..........

With a little luck you spot your first orb and it will be on the same level as you, SPRINT to it! and hit it with a quick melee attack. As you run you will see Crawlers, Runners, Chargers and Osprey, ignore the infested, well just don't run directly into them. After you tag the first orb stop sprinting but keep running, glance at your mini map 2-3 seconds after you hit the first another will spawn, SPRINT to it and quick attack... rinse and repeat.. After the 3rd orb You'll notice some Ancients and Moa, again ignore them as best you can. You need to leap or Bullet jump over any Moa vomit in your path but keep moving! After attacking orb 4 drop another energy restore and continue onward.

You may see a pop up notice " X number of enemies remain" as things die in your wake.. pay it no attention. Your focus is the next orb and only the next orb

Continue the run/locate/sprint/attacking till you fall to your knees and space Mom tells you how impressive you are...

Alternatively, if you have a frame with a BIG fast cast AOE.. like Ember, Banshee, or maybe Volt, you might be able to pass the test by hitting  your BIG AOE at the second orb and then every one after that, just keep and eye on your energy.. and throw down a restore BEFORE you need a full bar, and even a max range Rhino stomp might get the job done.

Now a few things to be aware of...

Mind the gap... if you fall off you will most likely fail but push forward anyway you never know.. the narrow space between walkway and pillar seems bugged... all the times I tried, I could not get up to the next level up, by going up next to the pillar... pillars in general seem to have been greased, I don't think wall latch is possible.

Aim Glidiing either across and expanse or down from the upper level, is often disastrous, ending with you falling straight down locked in full Superman position, bassackwards to your "death" and failure of the test, due to how long it takes to respawn.

Orbs... these damnable orbs... finally there's something to loathe more than corpus nullifiers... They can and will spawn in almost impossible locations... though though locations are set.. they are also many and are often at the opposite end of the field... or right over you head or below your feet.. none of which is easy to get to in a timely fashion.. they can also take 2-4 seconds to spawn after you "kill" one... leaving you halfway down the map and having to backtrack...

Time... each orb you "kill" is supposed to add time to your clock... but it feels very much like the amount of time granted is not consistent... but stay focused and this too will not matter in the end.

I have given you what I could, it is my hope that it helps you on your way...

From the ship, through the void, across the plains, soon to Venus and then the future WE are Tenno, and I am Stavros2014.

I simply logged into my Twitch account, updated Twitch to Twitch Prime by upgrading my Amazon account with the free month of Amazon Prime Trial, then followed the instructions on this link to link my Warframe and Twitch Prime accounts. Here https://www.warframe.com/twitchprime

I already had Trinity Prime, and now I have two Trinity Primes so done them both up with different skins. I also got the Spektaka Prime Syandana and Broca Prominence Syandana .

Sadly this is the same process I used but with different results... like the post below I get the same twitch sync response.. and no loot..

I'm having what i assume is the same issue, looking at the account management page i can see:

Twitch Sync: Linked to Could not find, check back later or try and refresh your info .

I have the option to unlink the account but i'd rather hold off doing that until i know if it's a temporary hiccup or not.

Worth noting i've had it linked for nine months already, since the last big twitch campaign, the recent skin drops worked fine, i've also been a prime member for the last nine months and still am, the Warframe offer did pop up on twitch and i did claim it but i haven't got anything yet.

  4. There's a player spawn at the start which puts you in the ceiling.. or on top of some pipes... this has happen twice to me on syndicate missions.. I think they were both rescues.. The first time I was able to get my Rhino Prime out of it.. but the second time Khora was stuck there for the whole mission..
