1st ability cant happen, DE doesnt want actual faces parts on warframes, they except something that looks like eyes but no actual mouths that chomp, noses, or ears etc

2nd ability remove the debuff, the ability isnt that op to need one

3rd ability, i want to say remove it because its too simular to nekros but i guess it can stay. Can see a nice relationship between this creature of the dark and someone as scary as nekros.

4th ability is great just no blinding, excal, inaros, and mirage are doing so much of this already.

Do like the frame tho! Only would want for abilities 1 and 2 to change

I was thinking of the 1st ability to be more like a "spirit" bite, where you aren't actually biting the target, instead you have a bite made of pure energy, otherwise maybe some sort of bear-trap-esq. item to throw at enemies?

For the 2nd ability, I was thinking of making the buffs it gives a bit better, so the negative effect would matter.

I like the 3rd ability, and maybe it could have a smaller fear range, but the howl aura follows Lycan around?

The final ability is his "speed" ability, and I was thinking of the blind as more of a zone of darkness where enemies stay away from, rather than a free blind, as allies will also have a bit of trouble going through the haze.

Thanks for your suggestions and critique! Always appreciated!

I want this for one main reason, to play with my frame :D

ahahaha, the Wolf and teh Vampire :P Halloween double release anyone? Also, love the idea. Especially since this seems to match so well with my Vampire idea :P a few of the abilities seem a tad off to me. However that coudl just be me ^_^ very well designed.

I guess great minds think alike :D

  3. Lycan, the Wolf Frame

This is Lycan. The Beast, The Demon.

Bloodthirsty for the marrow of his enemies, Lycan strives on his eternal famine.

Feast or fury Tenno, I recommend you stay back.

    Credits:

Thank you to DustyFlash for inspiring me :)

    Abilities:

Passive - Eternal Hunger: Lycan is skilled in the hunt, and is able to sprint much faster than normal warframes. Hold down the sprint button for at least 1 second to immediately sprint on all fours, gaining increased move speed and bullet jump distance.

1 - Vicious Bite: Lycan targets a group of enemies, and lashes at them with his sharp, bloodstained teeth. This will proc bleed and and stagger enemies, while healing Lycan for a portion of damage done. This ability can also proc status effects, and deals more damage based on his melee weapon mods.

2 - Feasting Famine: Lycan marks a number of enemies around him for a short period of time. His senses will be sharpened, and can now sense the enemies location by following a trail of red-dyed scent. Lycan and allies will gain bonus lifesteal against marked enemies, and kill them will give him bonus damage for a short period of time (can stack). He can use his passive, Eternal Hunger and sprint to the enemy (via scent), to gain an immense amount of movement speed towards the enemy. However, any enemies that have not been killed by him or his allies after the duration of this ability is over will result in Lycan being slowed and losing some health.

3 - Howl of the Beast: Lycan charges up for a furious howl, fearing all enemies around him, and amplifying the duration of his abilities. (1 - Vicious Bite's bleed, stagger procs last longer, 2 - Feasting Famine lasts longer, and 4 - Midnight also lasts longer)

4 - Midnight: Lycan unleashes his final form, drawn from the moon itself, creating an aura around him that blinds all enemies in the radius at the casting location, greatly buffing his Passive - Eternal Hunger, making it active even if you are not sprinting, all the while amplifying the movement speed effects, while giving his weapons bonus lifesteal and damage for the duration.

    Augments:

1 - Open Wounds: Hold the ability to latch onto the enemies with his teeth, constantly bleeding them, and healing you. Let go to launch them in the direction of your mouse, creating a ragdoll effect.

2 - Feasting Fury: Removes the negative effect of not successfully killing all of the enemies, instead remaining enemies will be chased down by shadow wolves, emitting a pulse that heals Lycan and his allies once they are killed.

3 - Moonlight Curse: Now heals Lycan and allies for a percentage of their missing health as health regeneration, and provides short invincibility.

4 - Dusk Demon: Lycan's darkness aura will gradually increase in size as he kills enemies while under the effects of Midnight. Additionally, he gains partial invisibility and have his original buffs amplified while in darkness.

    Appearance:

Lycan's helmet should be of a wolves' or even werewolves'. His body will look as if covered in spike-like fur, and has marks engraved on his arms. This frame should look like a terrifying beast, eyes glowing red whenever activating Feasting Fury, or having his entire shape palette changed to a shadowy color that creates a short trail wherever he moves for his 4 - Midnight. Probably a really good candidate for an edgy look for fashion frame.

    Quest:

The quest needed to get Lycan would be called End of the Moon, which can be accessed after beating the Second Dream. Lotus would tell you about the rumors of the missing Tenno, and you have to try and find him or learn more about what happened. It could talk more about Lua, and a legend of a beast who was cursed with forever famine, and hunts anything and everything in order to satisfy his hunger. The beast could get his power from Lua, and is actually a warframe. This warframe could've gone rogue on the Tenno controlling him, and has lead us to believe the Tenno died. In the end you stop the beast, and realize he was protecting the Tenno from a greater threat, which later on you realize are the Grineer Queens, in the War Within quest. Once you set the beast in stasis and retrieve the missing Tenno, you get the Lycan blueprint.

    Ending:

That's my idea for a wolf warframe, tried to make it as different and as unique from Valkur as possible. Again, thank you to DustyFlash for the inspiration. Enjoy ;)

Needs a way to be activated, tapping the sprint button while aurborne perhaps?

That could work! (Edited the post so it includes that, thanks for the idea!)

  5. This frame should be an assassin, a stealthy killer, sets up traps using her Threads of Fate, and then pouncing on her enemy with her BoundSilk Tailor gives her a lot of mobility, and would be used to get around places much. Seeker's Mark is a good combat tool, as you get more damage, but can also be used in stealth, as enemies won't be able to see you when you're hanging on a thread right above them.... And finally Weaver's Edge is an ability when you get overwhelmed, and just want everything to die...

  6. Arakne, the Spider Frame

This is Arakne. The Weaver, The Queen of Threads.

Arakne is a skilled with her silk, gracefully weaving her enemies their webs of fate.

Be wary of your surroundings, Tenno, in this world there are only the hunters and the hunted.

    Credits:

Before I start, what made me make this was this guy --->

So thanks to TheMightyJ225 for inspiring me :)

    Abilities:

Passive - Silk Tailor: Arakne can aim while midair at any surface/wall and dodge roll to launch a silk thread, pulling her to the location. The range isn't too long, but this could be similar to a Valkyr Ripline, but only for mobility.

1 - Bound: Arakne aims either at an enemy or terrain. If aimed at an enemy, she leaps onto that enemy, and performs a stab attack in front of her, using her 6 dormant arms. Aiming at a wall will launch her towards the wall, and instantly latches her onto the surface.

2 - Predator: Arakne hones her 6 dormant arms, granting her the ability to traverse on walls that she normally wouldn't be able to run on. While on walls, her weapons gain critical chance and damage. Additionally, she creates an aura around her that jams nearby enemies' weapons with thread.

3 - Threads of Fate: Arakne targets an enemy, stunning them and forming a web around them, entangling nearby enemies. Spiders will soon start to walk across the webs, damaging trapped enemies. Killing an entangled enemy will restore Arakne's health and grant her bonus armor. Arakne can use her 1 - Bound on the web and immediately latch onto it, able to traverse on the web and instantly gaining a small armor and health regeneration buff.

4 - Killer Instinct: Arakne activates her 6 dormant arms, dashing to a targeted enemy and performing a finisher with her arms. The moment she is done the animation, a flurry of 8 silk blades will burst out of the enemy, damaging all enemies that come in contact with it. These blades will then latch onto the ground and nearby surfaces. Enemies will be damaged, disarmed and bled whenever they come in contact with one of these silk blades. Arakne can use her 1 - Bound, to pounce onto one of these blades and create a stronger jab, bleeding and disarming enemies hit.

    Augments:

1 - Reaping Bound: Bound will now heal for a percentage of damage dealt, along with a flat amount.

2 -  Seeker's Mark: Nearby allies are now also buffed, granting them the ability to traverse onto walls, along with gaining the crit chance and damage bonus.

3 - Web of Lies: Threads of Fate will now entangle and spread to nearby enemies, whenever a previously trapped enemy is killed.

4 - Weaver's Edge: The silk blades will create a battlefield, and whilst in it, Arakne and allies will gain bonus movement speed and critical chance (Arakne will gain more of these boosts), along with her exalted blades, (her 6 arms are transformed into blade-like weapons), which act as extra melee weapons - (Note: Even though this is an exalted weapon, Arakne will still be able to shoot, her blades will only assist her in melee combat, giving a chance of webbing enemies and spawning spiders on them which leeches health).

    Appearance:

Arakne's helmet would look similar to Hela, the Goddess of Death in the movie Thor: Ragnarok. Her body will have 6 spider-like arms, 3 on each side. The arms don't really do anything in battle (without abilities), but sometimes move around and create different formations. I would imagine it having good potential for fashion frame.

    Quest/Lore:

The quest to get this frame could be called the Queen's/Widow's Loom, presumably after beating War Within. It talks more about the Grineer Queens, mainly the first one, and on how this frame was designed after her. You get this quest from the Steel Meridian, and asks you to investigate an underground Grineer lab. How the story goes is that the Grineer found a way to clone the DNA of a spider and create a super human, or in this case, Grineer. After you kill the first Queen in the War Within, she gets cloned, yet again, into a spider/human Grineer form. The final boss is this, and once you beat it, you get the Arakne blueprint.

    Ending:

That's my idea for a new spider frame. Again, credits to TheMightyJ225 for giving me some inspiration and ideas. Enjoy ;)
