those were duos from my early days in WF where i mostly combined visuals i like or was influenced by me playing with my friends, now i changed my mind on some of them as well and am just too busy to make new sets, still shared those old ones in hopes that someone might enjoy them

maybe tasteless, i just feel like it's a wasted opportunity. we could have theme-derail with any other frame, but Nidus was unique with the infested look yet he got "derailed" into looking like any other frame, that's probably my biggest beef.
Yes the design look awesome and i would love it in the game but for anyone else or as its own frame. I was so excited for some organic monstrosity or maybe something tribal for Nidus, but we get another oriental,bulky-armor looking thing for the only frame that could have have something different
Maybe everyone who's upset about it are people who love the organic nature of Nidus and knowing that this is the only thing he will get in a while, if he ever gets anything else, and it not being the aesthetic they love when there was potential for there being more for it, it can be frustrating.
I'm glad most people like it, cause this is what we're getting and we dont have to like everything, i'm just sad for the missed opportunity -

And Deluxe skins don't have to, nor should they be required to match their original concept theme. Just look at Octavia, he deluxe is really good looking imo and doesn't have anything to do with her original concept.
i'd say the people upset are the ones who actually really enjoy Nidus with his whole aesthetic (and no other frame rocking it) and that was taken away from him on top of him having no other possibiltiies of customisation. that's the only problem im seeing here
it's just a concept though and i know 99% people love it, even the devs, so it will probably stay exactly like this, but i still hope it might look at least a tad more infested or less bulky in the final form

And there is always another way if you don't like what deluxe skin shows, which is tennogen.
not tied to the original look, but tied to it's theme? yes. Trinity deluxe? guardian angel. Frost? icy king. Ember? Phoenix. Oberon? Faun. Ash? Traditional warrior-ninja combo. Nidus organic-- oh wait.
My problem is the skin is pretty! But no Nidus. And that's what i feel from people's responses too. they love the skin! they don't care it's for nidus though. and also nidus has no tennogen so this is all we're getting. for those who are tired of the knight armor looks on every other frame and enjoyed something different there's nothing and that's my problem. well...not really problem, more like a thought.
I was so excited to see what organic stuff they are gonna draw inspiration from and i was prepared for anything but...bulky shiny armor -

I don't really see anything off that bug in there, the author said it's inspired by gothic armor and stuff and that's what im seeing, bunch of metal armor. But even then, wouldn't there be other natural things to get inspired that would separate him more from the rest?
I'm happy that vast majority, if not everyone, seems to love that skin, i'm happy for the artist, i just wish this was a skin for someone else -

I absolutely love the orokin aesthetic but this... doesn't look orokin to me at all? It's an awesome looking thing, that's for sure, just nothing about it is Nidus.
But I also seem to be in the minority who loves Nidus' default skin and hoped it would more work with that theme instead of another armored bulky look you could mistake with any other frame
I'm sorry, I know it doesn't matter much, I just really love that frame and I know that he won't be getting anything else but the thing that, to me, is not what i love about him. Lots of people complain about Ember's deluxe skin, but she at least has tons of other customisations to choose from -

The thing i love about Nidus is how organic and elegant he looks, but this skin is mostly metal and it makes him look like literaly anyone else. Maybe the customizations will make it look neat and i do love the base color scheme it's just the whole metal armored concept of it that i don't really get nor like 😞

I'm in desperate need for some Nidus cosmetics. As much as love my boi's default look, it gets old not to be able to play with his look. I haven't seen much concept arts around so i'm trying to give it a shot!
There will probably be more concepts coming just to try out different themes/combinations. I've also never done concept art for such thing so please beware of the quality ;;VOLATILE

was trying to stick to the original colors while combining deluxe/default/custom skin parts together in a way that i feel the most fitting for the frames
with Oberon, i had multiple variations that i really liked but in the end the default color scheme for his deluxe skin is really awesome too so i sticked with it, unlike with Nekros (also ferosh helmet ,best helmet ♥)

Operators aside, what if these war machines had feelings? their body language and design and abilities have enough to inspire what they could be like... and also if they worked like other species, who they would hang around. I have lots of plans for comics and little pieces of art like this for the future but in the meantime let me provide some of my first ideas for dynamics i enjoy, be it logical or not!

A little bit about our dojo's concept:
I've been planning fan comic series for ever and the popularity of my humanframes only reinforced that need so as of summer of 2019 I decided I will start working on said project! That means 40+ unique and quite tragic stories involving our favorite playable characters.
To make it easier on myself, I came up with an idea of using the game's decorative feature to my advantage and literaly "prepare" the backgrounds for my comics in my dojo. Captura is perfect, but sometimes I needed more specific rooms and that's when the dojo comes in - I've got myself some helping hands and it was mostly a long term plan until not even a week after, the dojo contest was announced, which meant we had two weeks to get our whole dojo together. With only two members above the first tier clan, the price got high and thus the grind begun - separated on two teams, we had the builders, and those who brought home the bacon. Both teams intertwined the closer we got to the deadline.
But! We did it! Grineer floor still needs a lot of love and we eventually plan on expanding (as I come up with more origin stories, there will be more lore-related rooms needed), but most of the job there is done, resulting in 4 floors filled to the brim with personal rooms and love for detail♥
!!Spawning point is put on the Grineer floor which is WORK IN PROGRESS but it's also the lowest part of the dojo so it's perfect for chronological showcase. Everything is connected by elevators and marked by signs ♥!!
