    That is true, but if you fail because nothing is getting done, no bonus objectives are being met AND the defense target is getting swamped by enemies, then kills are also an indicator. You can be support-oriented and CC enemies, and/or run around and collect glyphs instead of killing stuff. But if everything is collapsing something is wrong.


    It took me 8 tries in total to clear the mirror defense this week, and in the final successful try most players just used their mechs anyway. But getting there really cost me some sanity.

    That being said I am not fully against the randomizer, since it makes you play things you usually don't and you might even rediscover a weapon or frame you'll like. For example i made an Arca Triton slam build with melee influence that was pretty strong and fun to play - and without the randomizer I never would|ve touched that weapon again.

    Yeah thats what I'm seeing in the future. At worst its gonna be on one side only premade sweatlords that will only accept the most meta gear on your random roll and on the other side it'll have 4 people all hoping for a carry on public matchmaking.

  3. Anywhere else in Warframe it is absolutely fine to have people that don't or can't contricute much to a fight.

    But DA is hard enough to make me care about 2 people in the team not getting more than a grand total of 20 kills. This mode is punishing enough for everyone's contribution to matter.... at least on defense missions, where you can fail pretty easily if you pile up too many enemies because 1-2 people cant be collecting glyphs (to heal the defense target because of a special modifier), fighting enemies and focusing on the necramech bonus target, while the other 2 just try their hardest to hang on for dear life.

    I don't have a solution. Maybe not allowing people to go into Elite DA without full builds. Or maybe easing the randomizer a bit. But right now without a premade team it can be a complete coin flip whether you manage to finish the mission or not, and I find myself getting angry at people when I see that they were unable to contribute in the mission failure screen.

    I don't want that.

    Well that's exactly what i'm asking 😄

    15 shots per second sounds a bit much so i just went with 1.5 as a placeholder to make up the rest. "Fire rate" is 15, but from what I've seen on the warframe wiki (it was in the comments though) that doesn't mean 15 shots per second. And if that's the case, then heat would probably not be "10 heat per shot", because then you would generate 150 heat per second of shooting, which means you can shoot the the Lavan for a total of about 6 seconds straight (and the Zetki for 2 seconds), and it's probably more than that.

    Because the Zetki Apoc I'm using has 80 heat stat and that one feels more like 2 seconds before it overheats

  5. Hey, i've been making a little comparison table to check out Railjack weapons.

    So far I haven't really had to worry about fire rate too much, if something shot too slowly, I put fire rate mods in, if not then not. Now with heat buildup in Railjack it becomes more important, especially when trying to figure out how long you can shoot before a gun overheats and what your total dps/dpm is.

    So here's my problem:

    From what I've read the fire rate stat is shots per 7 ticks (at least according to the wiki), but how many ticks happen per second? Without that my table below isnt accurate and I can't really tell whether it's worth building one thing or the other. (please ignore the overheat time, that was just a very rough guess, but if you have a better one let me know).

  6. My game just keeps crashing whenever I'm in Archwing in a Railjack mission. Everything else is fine, but I don't even dare leave the ship anymore because most of the time it'll ctd, with that cheeky error website popping up (which I have never seen until Empyrean).

    Between objectives glitching out and not working or disappearing and these crashes I haven't been able to complete a mission in several hours. 

  7. I know Gauss just got buffed recently, but I had an idea that might be fun to implement.

    Make him collect close enemies during mach rush (instead of knocking them down), with them being pulled behind him in ragdoll during the dash.

    If he collides with an obstacle, all enemies collected take damage equal to his explosion damage and fall to the ground.

     

    Maybe this could also be a future augment?

  8. Whenever the game loads anything (loading screens, inventory, star chart, data streaming in poe/orb vallis) my fps will drop to around 30fps. Simply alt-tabbing and switching back to the game will fix it, but it's a bit annoying. Nothing crucial though, but I was wondering if that's a known issue.

    I'm running win10, borderless windowed, dual screen (60 hz and 144hz gsync), geforce 1080.

  9. SInce the latest hotfix I have an even worse problem, I'll get stuck in the rails randomly and stop completely, or continue grinding with no possible button inputs and just fall off the rail afterwards... and then look like this

  10. 10 times and counting.

    All the umbras going into onslaught to be carried leave at wave 4, making it impossible for me to continue unless I'm hosting.

    And since I'm still farming Khora's Blueprint (its just been a few weeks of daily onslaught misery, so that's alright and I absolutely don't feel like it's completely killing the game for me to keep farming 8 waves just to get a shot at a 5% chance for a frame I'll probably only use as mastery fodder) I would very much like to clear wave 8. Plis fix.

  11. I haven't played Khora yet so I can only give my very unqualified opinion from what I've seen.

    Venari seems to be quite lackluster and not integrated into Khoras kit very well.

    My immediate Idea woud be to integrate her more into the other abilities if you can't make her more useful in general combat. Make an "Exalted Kavat" of sorts.

    For example:

     

    1 Whipclaw

    On Whipclaw Venari will (if summoned) pounce onto the first enemy hit and deal bonus damage in an area around the target on top of the ability damage. Bonus damage is influenced by Kavat mods.

    Maybe have her stance influence the effect: 

    Attack = AoE damage

    Defense = (small) AoE disarm (or knockdown + slow for example)

    Heal = less AoE damage but life leech for Khora

     

    4 Strangledome

    In addition to the CC effect Venari will (if summoned) rapidly pounce between enemies caught in the dome (maybe just enemies inside?) and deliver finishing blows to them. Maybe for this a mix of the kavat wall pounce animation and Ash's code could be used.

  13. I get that people feel offended, but anything other than the "insults" are just a particular style of video. If you don't agree with that, look for some other partner to watch.

    It's the same as if you couldn't bear with terrible puns and coloured visors or irish accent, just to name some wild, completley random examples. You move on and watch something else.

     

    As for the insults, I don't mind them. I can see how people would though. But personally, I don't care.
