[Consistent Crash in Chimera Quest Prologue]

I tried to play through the prologue at least 5 times and each time I've had to alt-F4 out of the game because it froze. It'd touch the lotus's helmet with its malicious red energy, I'd load in fine, follow the operator with the lotus's helmet, and every time I'd get too close to it or the trail he'd leave behind when he ran away, my game would immediately freeze. It also crashed in the part where you warp from one point to another as the operator, that's the furthest I've gotten without a crash.
