  1. This isnt the first time changes to the game have not been mentioned in the patch notes. they said they had what 14 pages of notes for U18.5 but yet we got barely two pages of actual notes. One good example of missing notes are the buffs to Reaper prime, Hate and Ether reaper. They werent mentioned until a multitude of threads started appearing mentioning these buffs. This is a serious issue because it destroys trust between developer and customer. If we cannot trust the patch notes to give us every change to the game then what can we trust?

Now for the EV changes i can honestly understand them. There is no reason for EV to not update the damage it does with every pulse. It was bugged and got fixed. We just got used to it and are a bit butt hurt to see it go, especially in this "half-truth" way. It also makes me kind of sad because this synergy gave Well of Life an actual use. Now WoL is just a dead skill. I would like to see WoL reworked but its not really high priority because the rest of trin works a lot better than other frames that have a higher priority to be reworked. looking at you limbo

What if we just let all the weapons mods and frames be as it is now for like, forever and start to focus more on stuffs like customer support is banning users for their own mistakes like people getting negative plats cuz gifts, bugs, getting to much plat for no reason, trin prime bug, others. Seriously it's not that hard to rollback someones account to prevent the problem to happend again but nah lets ban them for thirty years

You are correct. Bugs concerning plat should have highest priority. But at the same time not everyone is affected by these bugs whereas broken game mechanics affect everyone playing the game. For instance i wasnt even aware that these bugs are a thing. even tho that doesnt say much

Looking at the sprint speed you can see that the order of the mods changes the value

After calculating the value i found out its 1.595 so there has to be some inconsistency linked to warframe not being able to show more than 2 digits after the dot which forces it to round the value.

  3. So in the latest devstream it has been confirmed that there will be a corrupted mod that decreases magazine capacity in favor of faster reload speed.

It has also been said that this mod will "double-buff" the vectis prime as it will reduce the mag to 1 round/mag and give it a faster reload.

While this mod will definitely buff the vectis prime, i doubt it is the right way to go if vectis prime is meant to be better than the vectis. Because as of right now the normal version of the vectis can achieve more sustained dmg than its primed counterpart.

this new mod will help with that but you still lose raw dps for utility as you need one modslot for the new mod on vectis prime. (sure you get the benefit of faster reload but that is not enough)

In my opinion a better way to fix this issue would be to change the magazine of vectis prime to 1 bullet and maybe change some other stats instead like status chance or reload speed or whatever.

(now with the introduction of utility slots for warframes this could also be transfered to weapons and help with that problem but thats another topic)

  4. So the Problem with just rebinding secondary fire on a different button (or rebinding the zoom) is that the average mouse is already full.

Well sure you can say "rebind stuff on the mouse to different things" and i would agree because i personally do not use the mousewhell at all while playing. The Problem with that however is you cannot know if there is someone actually using is because of how many people are playing warframe.

Now if you bind it to somewhere on the keyboard (or with a combination of keys) then it makes it:

    1. A pain to use

    2. Difficult to figure out how to use for inexperienced players i.e. they see that the weapon has secondary fire but dont know how to use it which leads either to them ditching the weapon or looking it up. (easily fixed by tutorials and people ditching the weapon is unlikely but not impossible)

Now other reasons for this may or may not have been mentioned before but im sure these are not in this thread so this is what i have come about while thinking about this topic

With this said however i would love to be able to zoom with weapons that have secondary fire so dont get me wrong
