  1. Remember who designed the Warframes, and how. The Orokin, a bunch of perfectionists who place a great deal of value over aesthetics. If it doesn't look good to them, they're not making it. And fat, is not pleasant to look at. They (The Orokin), wanted their new saviours to be glorious, glamourous, awe inspiring. Fat, does not cut it. That's why.

  2. What you just described is... Well, calling it a terrible idea is a contender for the understatement of 2016. Assuming we DO get 60 ranks in a weapon, I want you to ask yourself, "What the **** am I going to put on this?", because remember, we have eight mod slots for a weapon and warframe. Eight.

I hope you remember what Forma is for, and the highest mod drain currently available is 16, which slotted into a properly Forma's polarity slot gives 8. And we have Forma RESERVES. Or plat to burn to buy Forma for the low, low cost of 20 plat.

So, in case you have problems figuring out what I am attempting to illustrate to you is, with your bright idea, we now get 60 mod capacity at double or more xp, but we still have eight slots and not all of them eat loads of capacity, so now we've got far too much extra space but NOTHING left to put in."

Or are you just too lazy to go find more Forma to slot in to that weapon and you'd rather just slap on potato on something and just wait and leech Draco so you can have that awesome build.

  3. Oh god. Imagine the hilarity of accidentally blowing away a car.

I pretty much imagine all the Tenno are these incredibly socially awkward introverts just trying to make it through the day without annihilating a city block on accident. Especially Rhino. Dude is just trying to buy some new plates or something and barely judges a shelf with his shoulder, knocking the whole thing down. He tries to catch it in a frenzy while going "CRAPCRAPCRAPCRAPCRAPPLEASEDONTFALLCRAP" and trips, pushing the shelf into the next row of shelves, causing a domino effect. Within moments, the whole store is covered in dust and broken kitchen ware, Rhino sitting at the epicenter completely embarrassed.

One of the cashiers turns to their manager and just says "why do we keep letting this guy in here?"

"Because one, he pays for all the stuff he broke, which is good business, in case you forgot. Two, are you even looking at that guy? He's got close to a half ton on you. And you want to tell him he can't go where he damn well pleases? Good luck, newbie."

  4. The gun design is nice and all, but it doesn't mesh well with the overall looks of any faction, Tenno, corpus, or Grineer. Might be suitable for a proto weapon skin though.

I think the current issue with your weapon is that it resembles far too much like a 21st Century weapon for the current timeline of Warframe.

Add in a little more boxiness(?) or more high tech space age features and we might have something here.

  5. Doesn't Naramon energy regen buff break your whole concept of not being able to receive energy after transforming into super-sayan-sugoi power mode?

Energy regeneration affects allies. Just not the one going super sayan sugoi mode, from what I read.

  6. 3? I've got one on and can't see what else I could fit on.

    Why's that?

Perhaps he likes the sabre look of the Dakra Prime? I like both, but pick the Dakra simply because it's a particularly beautiful sabre. The prisma skana is definitely going to aid the concept of super noob. 5 Forma lato, and a decently modded Braton, an Excal, and you're practically looking at Starter 2.0 and could probably show lowbies what a bit of dedication and boredom could do.

  7. Skin for the win!

It looks awesome, I hope they release it ASAP

Not the best choice of words used when discussing about a catframe that was skinned by Jelly Salad.

Though jokes about skinned cats do tend to be funny.

  8. The only warframe or skins that come into mind that could use the pouches are the Proto-Excal and Nemesis Nyx due to their 21st century armour design. And even then, they'd probably be limited to thigh pouches, given that we need the waist clear for daggers, swords, or hammers.

  9. All I can think about the latest batch of ideas, the Grineer pyro pack, is about the secondary. TWOOOO IGNATA!!! Sorry, but seriously, this idea might be the closest yet we can get to wielding the acclaimed TWOOO GRAKATA.

For now, good concepts on this second batch. Clipping issue will need to be noted on the armour pack though. Looks great on male frames such as the Ash, or Excal, due to the flat chest area, but will have issues with the female frames, most notably Saryn (You know why. Two good reasons why.). And Chroma... Not sure how DE will work around that issue though.

The Napalm launcher is probably what some Tenno have always wanted after fighting a Napalm Grineer... Not sure how much aoe that weapon will do, but I'll be hoping that it outperforms the armaments of the Napalm.

I think the Falrake reminds me of a Fallout 3 weapon. Here's to hoping any of your designs make it in the next round of additions.

(Still waiting for the FIRST batch of cosmetic armour sets, and now, thanks to you, I'm also waiting for even more armour sets. How vexing.)

  10. Soo... a Mercer-class infected? You know, from Prototype? If so, I approve. Adaptive armour's a bit off though. Most of the time you're taking different types of damage within a certain time period, so what happens when you get slash proc'ced and it's the Grineer (whose guns are normally impact)?

  11. If you can't consider yourself a Tenno just because of this, switch wars. Play another game. Whatever Jelly Salad can cook up, we're confident we can burn it down like the rest. You're not.

Guess you really aren't Tenno material.

The Lotus just giving him the codes and not giving him false codes? Give him false codes, he fails instantly and we'll never know if an infested cure is possible. I wager she's kept a backup copy of them, but first lets Old Jelly Salad do the initial research.

  12. Nah, just Vinnie logic. Not the sharpest fang in the arsenal, that one.

That and probably too emotional to have a standard backup plan in case of betrayal. Mine? Forma that Karak, save it for when we get stabbed in the back, bring that Karak in, and shove the length of the barrel down Salad's throat and pull the trigger.

    Simple, and doable.

  13. A helios would fit Suda more than the dethcube. Remember, she has an abhorrence towards destruction. Helios would fit better... if Simaris had not taken it already.

The veil would go for the dethcube though, and Perrin would clearly want the Carrier.

  14. Corpus heavy armour with side missile launchers on his shoulders and a riot shield on his back from the power descriptions is a design must I suppose. Build wise, definitely around or heavier than Rhino. Supports heavy artillery. Sufficient mass required to compensate for load.

    Visual suggestion.

Role? Possibly a defensive frame to augment Frost or Vauban. Offensively? Riot shield blocks of a corridor and provides cover for cellmates. Not meant for rushing. Strengths seems to be in mobile defense and defense.
