Not sure if someone's already mentioned this but I was trying to loop the link for the plaid that Letter13 had posted and I discovered this
I don't think this will ever not be funny to me.
That's still not fast enough.

Some can confirm that Hype Trains are fully capable of space travel.

Currently looking at an estimated download size of 1072 MB (give or take, but really only give at this point).
So, how is it at HQ? Is everything smooth sailing for the devs? Going to be a long night. Get the coffee and tea brewin, huh?
I got to admit I highly respect you guys for working so hard on this game, pushing all theses hours. Having worked on some small games myself, I know how working 17 hours straight on a game before a deadline feels like.

Pros:
I think this mode is more Mobile Defense than Mobile Defense mode
Lots of mobs and you can rush the reward instead of waiting every 5min (already got the new stance mod)
Cons:
1) Brutal running
2) 1 Power Cell at a time making a bunch of power cell laying around
Suggestion:
Pack light = more power cells that you can carry, meaning if you have 2 slot empty you can carry 2 more.
You can carry multiple cells, actually. I'd rather like to know how many cores I'm carrying or how much power it is as a UI label.

Current Feedback:
Overall, I love the game type and it forces teams to split and strategize. But here are some mentions I think needs addressed:
1) It is hard to tell on-the-fly which extractor is A,B,C,X unless you look on the minimap. This makes it a tad difficult to give power to the right extractor. My suggestion is to add labels in-world on the extractor.
2)The extractor power cores are automatically taken from you when in close proximity - while a fine concept, you might want to run to the further extractor and give it power, but you run too close to another and accidentially give power to the wrong extractor. You just don't know how close is too close. My suggestion is to simply add a radial field (like on the Defense objective) to signify at what distance power cores are collected.
3) I learned this the hard (and hilarious) way. Extractors, if they fall directly on you, can cause you to be thrusted (smooshed is the scientific term) under the world geometry into a long falling loop, and then subsequently die. Revives are wasted as your spawn point is now underground.
Looking forward to improvements, but I love where this game mode is going. Thanks!

If anything, the AOE of each individual shot should be scaled to compensate. So, basically, the larger the "blast zone radius", the larger the individual shot AOE that can cause damage.

Serial Experiments Lain. If you take what's being said metaphorically, and are curious about the human/technology connection, then you're in for a treat.

I personally (and ironically) find it too useful to seem right in the game. I feel like I and others abuse it, and it doesn't feel "right" in the context of the game universe and physics. With that, and sliding, I would figure that swinging a sword/axe/whatever wouldn't be capable of increasing one's velocity than the speed they are already moving.
If anything, coptering and sliding should have the same speed as sprinting, in my opinion.

and i thought stalker stalk the players? People are just getting this wrong
Personally, I'd rather have the Stalker not be considered a "resource" to be farmed. I think the best part was, before the in-game emails, we had no way of knowing when he would strike. Now adding incentive to farming and killing the Stalker only defeats the point of having him being an assassin.
@Shemshol I think the most meaning the Stalker would have is keeping his character and game purpose as a surprise. Adding more rewards will only want to make people kill him more, and, ironically, be hunting the hunter. Of course, this is all my opinion, so take from this what you will.
I just don't like the idea that the Stalker's fun factor is being eschewed for what he drops, or that we should be rewarded from killing him repeatedly.
Edit: Tenno'd. Should have seen it coming. Rising sums up my point.

Not for the sensitive:
Because it was a bit of a crappy joke.
Nah, it was a grate joke.
I'd rather have grate prime replace the standard grate, as per intended.

Trinity Prime would be fantastic, if the keep the quality up like they did with Loki Prime.
Though, I would like to see how Nyx Prime would look like given that she has Excalibur's design. Would be a great opportunity to make her totally unique.

I can confirm to not being able to quote.

While I'm all for enhanced customization opportunities, I don't think this fits the art style.
That, and letting us see that its some person inside defeats the idea that we can imagine them as anyone (or anything) we want. Similar concept as Master Chief.

Hello,
I had a quick thought about the login system for the website - if after logging in to the website we could be redirected to the page/forum we had last attended.
While not a concern, I wanted to suggest this idea if it wasn't mentioned already (did a quick search) as a QOL improvement. I don't always sign in to the website every time I look at the forums, but when I find something pertinent to suggest I need to login to reply, which sends me to the main website. I thought that for those wanting to reply to a post wouldn't have to search/trawl through links to find the one post they wanted to reply to.
I'm not suggesting this because I'm lazy - I don't always enter the website expecting to post evey time.
Any feedback/clarification on this is appreciated. Thank you.
tl;dr Suggest a redirect from login to the WF website to the last page visited.

My guess? The release date on Xone could be announced - or the game will be released - at the Gamescom thing in two weeks. The comments from the devs in weeks past stating that "we have a lot to do before then" makes more sense, if this is true.

She's already immortal, she doesn't needs a skin.
Ba-dum-tiss
OT: I could be wrong but from what I heard I think her skin is being packaged with Zephyr's, Hydroid's, and now I assume Mirage's. Don't remember the source of this, so if there is someone that could confirm or deny, that's appreciated.

No objection here; such a mechanic as upgrading weapons should be given a "tutorial" or explanation in-game - gifting one of them (maybe player choice?) would be a sufficient one-time reward.
Really, this should be done for any such mechanics so that new players need not be referred to the wiki - not that the wiki is a bad thing, but that should be more so a reminder and not a manual.

I'd be up for Italian Meatballs.
Heh. Meatballs.
u~u
I don't really know what to place them as - though I am curious what languages were borrowed/appropriated to make the spoken Corpus language (from a dev perspective, not lore).

I'd love to, as long as platnium is restored as well as clan membership. But I've heard that any reset was off the table, so I don't know what to add to the discussion.

Just peeved that he posted an instruction in orange.
I would slap my boss if he gave me an instruction. In orange.
He always posts in orange. Besides, red is best color.

RE: Grineer Mining Facilty A-2C: Combat Testing
Sir, tactic opportunities have risen threefold with Combat Formation Charlie. Beginning field tests in one cycle.

Zombrows. Coining it.
Nice pattern, I suppose: I wouldnt know anything about owning one, but that's for another discussion.
Still, I wouldn't want that chasing me; T-virus is bad for my healh (course, the cardio beforehand is).

So how do the infested shut off the life support in survivals?
They probably eat it. Tasty!

Would be different if the Infested were simply breaking the terminals, but that would be a 4-point defense mission. Actually, that doesn't seem like a bad idea...
New Music Preview: Derelict & Void
in Developer Workshops
Posted · Edited by Garuda112
I love both of these pieces. I actually think the happier, majestic portion of the Void music is the best part. It's hard to describe, but I feel like this piece brings out the character of the set. I think that this music is coming to be a quality and style on the scale of Halo - chanting aside. I love it.
Is there any projected date for implementation? Obviously they are in WIP phase but could we expect them before or after U16? If you don't have an estimate, I understand. I'm just really excited and look forward to seeing these in action.
Oh, and I hope you all make a soundtrack when there's enough pieces. Maybe make each theme one long piece that blends between the dynamic and ambient portions of each theme, just like in game.
*Edit* A comment: It would be lovely at some point to explain your process for developing these pieces! As a budding game designer I'm fascinated on what you did. Great work here.
