I haven't had any issues with baruuk's restraint with the endless lullaby augment.

You press 2 once and then just kill everything, each kill causes lullaby to get cast which fills your restraint constantly.

From what I've tested, you could genuinely do that and then permanently be in serene storm for the remainder of the mission just by making sure the lullaby chains through killing.

My issue with running two augments like any build that requires two augments to make work is your sacrificing too much to get the desired effect. And with his lull augment your teammates can ensure that you get no usage out of the augment.

As a baruuk main. Im gonna have to say no. The main thing that made me start maining baruuk is because i have to manage a resource and not be lazy with pressing one button.

This isn’t to make him lazy as his lull and desolate hands still have their functions. You can still manage his restraint albeit a tad easier. His first ability is essentially for solo play only as your teammates will ensure you aren’t able to actually make use of that ability.

    1. making it so that I have to make no effort into charging his 4

    2. make his 1 into his passive too so that I don't actually have to press 1 and follow the skill rule

Do you really want to play him or just turn it into Saryn 2.0?

You really missed the mark on this one. The first option is to simply drain your energy into another pool to use your exalted weapon. The second option is to have a more active play style as opposed to standing still and waiting while your one is active.

  4. Since the recent changes I’ve been having a ton of fun playing baruuk but one minor issue came about. His restraint meter; currently the only way to get it to erode is to have your desolate hands disarm someone. Put everyone to sleep or stand still letting them shoot through you. Now since you can’t mod for his serene storm in the same way you can exalted blade or iron pole I was thinking of a slight tweak to his kit.

    1. Making it so when you hold down 4 energy is converted into eroded restraint, much like Garuda and the blood ball

    2. Giving his passive an innate “hunter adrenaline” where a portion of the damage you take is converted into eroding the restraint.

i personally like the second choice as it would make baruuk flow a little bit better if you’re trying to use his serene storm, what do you guys think? If you like these ideas consider sharing it so we can make DE aware. If not then don’t and if you have a better idea please share it.

I can really say that I really hate seeing that "mission failed" screen.

I know that it's never a wanted thing, but I think for me, the feeling is worse.

One thing that I really hate is that I put all that time and work into clearing a mission (mainly with endless missions but also generally with any type of mission) only to go empty because when a mission fails, you don't get any rewards and no extra affinity.

When this happens, it feels like the time I put in got wasted.

There will be some saying I should take this as a learning experience. But to me, it doesn't feel as rewarding as a completed mission does (makes me sound ungrateful, right?)

Anyways anyone's 2 cents are welcome (I don't think I'm gonna reply much tho)

Monster hunter: you fail the hunt not only do you not get anything outside of a few pickups and no exp at all you lose the recourses you used during the hunt.

The arcane pain is already sorted with Scarlet Spear allowing you to get them through Little Duck.

That’s a temporary event. I’m thinking after the event is gone we’re back to a time gated grind that makes players set an alarm anytime they want to do them.

  7. I like both ideas. I was thinking when you select the bounty it would load you into the night instance of Cetus and you get the night timer to complete the hunt. Would make grinding the arcanes not so painful.

I don't care about if they(or me) kill themselves or revives or anything.
But the bramma frequently "breaks" missions - fps drops to a crawl, portals in eso stop opening even unwanted host migrations( I asked them and they were forced out of the mission probably from the bramma, they didn't quit)

Mirage with the haduken cannon. That will break games a lot more than the bramma. I thought I was going to have a seizure from the flashing lights.

Whenever a new prime frame or a new weapon is introduced, you are bound to see lots of folks ranking it up and taking it out on a spin. Ain't nothing wrong with that. Try going solo if you want 100% CONTROL of everything.

Like when wisp was released. Along with myself I had more than a few squads of all wisps. It was hilarious.

  10. Been seeing a lot of these posts and honestly, the time gating and people aborting the mission for a chance of that sweet sweet RNG means that people who want to finish the mission. A.) won’t see shedu probably till the middle of the year b.) lose moral to even do the mission node due to people constantly aborting the mission c.) will have to burn up even more time just trying to get the shedu than actually playing the game.

either the sentient ship remains in the sector (the veil proxima) indefinitely and just switches nodes every 30 minutes or becomes its own node. Anyone who’s not going at that weapon like an industrial vacuum or a streamer is going to have a rough time of it.

I had the opposite of what OP talked about. It was my ship and the guy was screaming at me because at the end of the mission instead of using the materials to make ammo ((We were at the 200 forge cap on materials))  I refined them. He began screaming about how we had to now go to the dojo and whole bunch of other stuff and I just responded with. "I was going to the dojo anyway, and I'm farming mats for my railjack." He had a mental breakdown...

You should have just asked if they could make a pit stop at the dojo. I hate when people refine and force me to go back when I’m trying to go through and complete missions. Honestly refining should be a host only ability.

I have to agree with this.  I am sticking with my Wisp + Amesha + Cygnis for a while.  It is just quite powerful and allows me to wait for MKIII on nearly everything.    I have tried a fully pimped railjack and they are quite scary...as a pimped out ship should be.

They had to release it.  Business is business.   Revenue is Revenue.    DE has been releasing this way since DAY 1 and people keep putting on this shocked pikachu face.   Overall, I am fairly happy with the game mode.   I am glad they released it with all of its "nuances".   But then again...i've been married for a while now.    You learn pretty quickly that things are what things are..and if you think constantly complaining about wanting them to change helps...well, yeah, it doesn't.

Don’t take my criticism as me not enjoying the game mode. I just wish they had that timer to make hosting missions easier.
