    Hey Reb,
I wanted to inquire about the DX9 support.
Is there any particular reason or benefits to removing it other than it being outdated? Just out of curiousity.

It doesn't affect me personally btw.

its a fair amount of work to maintain this especially since windows 10 no longer carry's a lot of the dx9 libraries

Then staves and polearms should share the same skins as with machetes and longswords, right? Just because the weapons are similar doesn't mean they can share the same skin. It will be a point of base model for the designs not being compatible as to why the skins cannot be applied to weapons of different types as it is intended.

And as I said before highly unlikely they will make skin applicable to weapons of different types.

hey good point they already look like each other anyway!

infact they could even share stances!!!

Volt looks like a proto-skin. I wonder how close the model will be to this, this is just a drawing after all.

In all honesty I get you. I love Ember and I can not put into words how much I reject the punk-mermaid concept.

dude thats not a drawing thats a 3d model

  4. as a mastery rank 21 player and someone who has used volt for over 40% of my play time i agree the volt delux skin absolutely falls short of my hopes dreams and expectations
all the other delux skins are far cooler than i could have hoped but volt delux just looks... meh

So when do we get a heavy Pierce damage sword?

Why the hell would you put the cutting edge of a blade where it wouldn't be able to cut? Is this a sword or a fused pair of scissors?

But seriously.... could you not make jokes for a moment and actually consider the changes suggested? How would this work for gameplay? Would it possibly be an improvement?

sentient scissors made to kill warframes that are weak to impact

Exactly.  That's the point.  There should be some penalty. It happens rarely but there should be a penalty when things really go wrong.  As of now, there isn't.  The teams revives as fast as possible.

Now, if DE wanted to add a mod for a single or double revive mod so a sentinel or pet could revive, that would be different.

Missing the point.  It significantly changes gameplay as the example above shows.  Sometimes things aren't as simple as "Don't use it."  What if DE added unlimited magazine ammo and never required a reload.  Would the game be the same if "someone just decide not to use it?"

you know besides the massive chunk of lost affinity
