  1. There are many nice ideas here, but keep in mind:

If the reward isn't worth it, it won't be played!
I play Defection, Hijack and Infested Salvage (for example) only if I have to, to get a reward.

Anyway, that's what in my mind:

    Sabotage-like
Bring explosives to 3-4 point's in an enemy vessel. There's a chance for the enemy to defuse these. The chance is higher the more rumble you make.
One can flee to Landingcraft or Archwing. You can extract if at least one explodes. If all are defused it turns into exterminate.

    Rescue-like
    Something like Mastery Test 19.
    Maybe rescue SpaceMom's Kubrow.

    Escort
Escorting an operator through enemy terrain.
Maybe endless, getting deeper and deeper into enemies terrain.

    Recovery-like
You get caught on purpose, to steal from your enemy.

    Escape
The ship is burning down room by room and you have to reach extraction fast enough.
    You can also add caches.

    Endless-MobileDefense-Survival
Combination of Survival & Mobile Defense.
It starts like survival, but from time to time you can/have to go to a specific console and extract data.

Im glad that you like, and don't want to take that away from you, but please understand at lower levels like where i am, your literally just making us stand there with our fingers up our A$$ and thumbs in our mouths. Especially when some new players have barely in the game long enough to understand how the resource system even works, let alone care about completing the game by any means necessary as quick as possible. I hope you can at least understand my point of view.

I understand your point, as far as your point is:

A veteran player who has specialized his warframes/weapons can bring new players to a point where they think: I did (nearly) nothing to complete this mission. This feels bad, I want to have an impact on this mission.

I agree with this, but this can be done in many several ways. Like with a high ranged melee, with an atomos or sonicor. I can run a corpus exterminate with sonicor doing 70% of the damage with the weapon alone.

  3. Look at my profile pic, so just you know^^

I'm playing Warframe since 2013, and Ember was my favorite Warframe from the beginning (combined with ash).
I've played my Ember(Prime) many many hours, and my Warframe with the most Forma-Stars by far. So you see I really love to play Ember. But in my Clan I'm the only one playing Ember regularly. It depends on, what you like to play. I like the fire and the synergies between the passive and all that fire damage weapons.

Yes, Ember can do low level exterminates just by running through it. And I like it (whether I'm Ember or not) because: Mission done is Mission done!
In higher levels it's getting complicated. But, for example, teaming up with Nova, Frost & Trinity, buffing your teammates fire damage with your 2 and burn everything...
    IMHO, that's awesome!

  4. Oh... yeah.
    Depends on, what you want.

Have a look at 'Ember: I burn' in the wiki.

If you have the right squad, the Augment for Fireball can be very useful.
In public squads I usually go for Accelerant augment. I'ts easier to handle and also buffs yourself.

WoF can only hit a limited number of targets, and not all targets in range. Keep that in mind while planning your power range.
WoF is a Channeling ability, so keep efficiency at 175%, duration doesn't have such a big impact on energy cost.
