  1. Ppl complained for a long time that carrier made other sentinels obsolete

    so stuff needed to be changed

    its great that you guys decided to give vacum to other sentinels as well

    i truly think that its the right move

     

    but lets also think about a different issue

    why was vacum so popular?

    maybe its because it not fun to run around and try to collect orbs/loot/endo w/e else there might be on the ground

    this game is fun because i have to murder multiple enemies in various gruesome ways

    running around collecting trash from the ground is not

     

    so maybe making the vacum area of effect smaller is not the right way to go

    it like the stamina mechanic

    no one liked it

    no one likes to run around and try to collect some endo that fell under the bridge when the main reason that we are playing this game is to kill S#&$

    so maybe the simplest way to fix sentinel problem would be leaving the vacum as it was(or even buff it tbh there is no logical reason to nerfing and if there is than pls share it because i dont see it)

     

    just my 2c (yeah even if its a dead horse w/e)

     

  2. yeah i remember when devs said that there will be no "cat ears" in warframe ever

    than the bunny ears did happen

    than candy canes and all that other S#&$

    and now chibi sprays...(and yeah i hate overwatch i played it with my friends for a week and i truly consider it the worst 40$ entertainment money spend this year)

    so yeah the option to hide those would be nice 

  3. I liked the old void key system even if it was flawed and grindy.

    However i saw the advantages in the new system as well and the steps in right directions to reduce  grind.

    But lets focus on the flaws of the new system 1st

    - IF the old void key system worked like new relic system you would need a void key from every single person to start new mission - i personally consider this a flaw since it prevents you from boosting new players that just joined warframe and trying to  help them become stronger or up to par with other ppl in your clan/alliance more difficult

    Also the endless void missions are gone which lowers the numbers of rewards w can get .

    My solution to this would be to let you choose your relic reward at the end of the mission (just like it is right now) but on top of that add a random reward from the total pool of the keys used at the end (so even ppl that didnt have an active relic bt helped with the mission can still get something out of doing it) - my reasoning for this will be an example from my today run. I play with couple new players and i try to boost them whenever i can . So we were running some neo relics as 4 ppl ,we got to the point where 2 of my friends did not have any neo relics , but another person still had 2 or 3 that he wanted to run for the particular drop (i have plenty of relic so its not a problem for me) so we all did 2 or 3 more runs for neos but only me and my 1 friend were getting rewards from them even tho the other 2 clan mates were actively participating in completion of the mission. Of course someone will say that we should have quit and get 2 pugs etc. but i rather play with my friends and it sucks that under the new system this situation is a problem for groups of friends that play together.

    - another problem is the monotony of mission choices , it not a secret that some mission types are just more fun than others , example is spy and sabotage , while personally i hate normal spy missions (well i only hate the grineer ones where you cant use a cipher with high lvl hacking) but i do love the moon spy missions , and we can all agree that the most fun missions in warframe is still exterminate, survival and excavation (or at least for majority of players since you cant speak for eveyone)

    with the current system you might be forced into doing endless spy missions , or endless sabotage missions and i think the majority of players will agree with me that it is not fun at all (im not talking efficiency but fun)

    im wondering if it would be possible to introduce some sort of a rotation system for relic runs - maybe instead of listing a type of mission and the relic associated with , you could only see the relic and the mission type would be randomly assigned to the the host, this would hinder the efficiency of the groups but would add an element of surprise where you might just end up with a mobile defense mission with a squad that was prepared for a spy mission , adding a twist to the game play and forcing players to think outside the box i think it would be still a nice change of pace)

     

    -another problem is players completing a mission and going for extraction before all players have acquired 10 shards - it happened to one of my friends in a mission

    he is new to warframe but had couple axi relics since we did couple hira runs to get him some lvls and credits and cores .But it was just me and him in the mission and 2 randoms.

    so the randoms just rushed for the objective while i tried to protect my friend and keep him alive . The problem was that i was messing around with my loadout and didn't bring highly efficient set up so long story short was that the 2 randoms killed the target and got their relic fast and went for extraction while i was stuck behind trying to keep my friend alive and ressing him when he died , so we ended up the mission 8/10 orbs collected and no rewards (im not sure if we lost the relics used or not) which sucked for my friend (personally i dont rly care that much since i got most of the stuff anyway) 

    This is why i liked the old fissure opening system more than the current random system and tbh i don't see any fix for that type of behavior other than implementing additional fail safe which will not allow you to complete the mission untill all players have 10/10 orbs , but than again an afk troll could be a problem.Maybe instead of making it an individual 10 orbs we could change the system to a total number 10 orbs for single player , 20 orbs for 2 players , 30 for 3 and 40 for 4 without the restrictions on who picks them up.

     

    So far those are my main issues with the new system.

     

    I am still very upset that the old void is left in its current state , its a great place that shouldn't have been just left like that , this is nostalgia combined with the respect to the art and the game play that held us playing this game for so long after cleaning up the star chart

  4. tbh i think that the fissure missions should give you the mission objectives as a secondary reward - if you just complete fissure you can extract right away , but if you complete mission objective as well your squad gets a random reward from the pool of relics that are used

    this would improve the number of drops because we cant run endless reward missions anymore and the number of prime parts acquired by players is going to be significantly lower 

  5. tbh i recently got 5 new players into warframe

    2 of them bought the mag prime vault thingie for 60$ and one of them got a 70% discount and bought 4000 plat straight up

    and yet only one of them is doing well now (to the point where after a week of playing the game he can go to a high lvl excevation and stay to 2000+ cryo without being carried and pulling his own weight)

    how did he do it?

    warframe wiki

    he researched the S#&$ out of the mechanics and was always asking questions 

    so now after a week at r6 with a fresh soma prime fully modded for crit ,atomos and status modded jello he can hold his own in a group or mr20s

    this shows one crucial problem with warframe new player experience - the tutorials - they are either horrible or non existant - explanations are vague

    when i 1st introduced my friends to warframe they didnt know how to follow map and what to look for  on it ,i had to guide them in the 1st missions.

    would it rly be so hard to make a decent tutorial that would take a new player and explain what do they see on the map and on other parts of the ui?

    make it ordis or lotus presentation (just simple non interactive animation with zooming on each element and explaining its mechanics :"tenno this is your mini map - red triangles are enemies if they have arrow going up or down they are above you or below you , depending on your mission type you need to follow yellow or red marker while green marker will lead you to extraction after completing the objective"- simple stuff like that) - or after they start the game for the 1st time just pop a window that would give them a detailed information  of the ui  itself  and than add same option to the every module you install on the ship
     

    i mean its not hard to do and its missing from the new player experience 

     

     

  6. So i recently came back to check out warframe once again.

    I have played for a long time (mr20 and silver founder)and i must say the new map looks great Steve.

    i think i stopped playing this game shortly after parkour 2.0 so i did hear about the new map plans before.

    This starchart really brings back memories of the original warframe map , personally im loving it.

    The junctions are a great additions but they are bugged for the old players who already have the xyz weapons crafted(this is the biggest problem imo because redoing the missions or crafting a spectre is not a problem , but recrafting a rank 6+ wpn can be frustrating especially if you have most of the stuff crafted and are rank 20 or higher)

    And the animation of traveling to another planet gives a great mass effect relay vibe.

    Relic system feels fine as well tbh , i don't like the rng aspect to how many missions you have to your disposal but the idea itself of void tears inside normal missions is great ,implementation is good too (sometimes a bit clunky when selecting the relics).

    But why did you leave the old void in its current state?You guys have a TON of stuff that is removed from the relic rewards , why didn't you just put it into the old void?

    There is no reason why the good old void cant have all those rewards.You have the coding for it in place.Its feels a little shady tbh.

    When i reinstalled the game i brought couple ppl (5 of us played black desert and overwatch together) to warframe with me and it was difficult for me to explain to them why there is so much stuff missing from the game that they cant get.

    Especially a friend of mine who just loves ember, he basically just got some platinum and bought her straight away and was quite upset when i told him he cant find ember prime anymore and when i explained to him that the old stuff is put in vaults he said it sounds like a cheap cash grab(which it does i agree with him 100%)

    Which brings me to new player experience which is still horrible from what i can see (i had to explain so many things , from movement mechanics to mission goals and interface,upgrading,crafting,buying the tutorials for all those things are so confusing or straight up missing) .

    So most of the new stuff felt like a good addition to the game until i tried your new archwing.

    I am one of the few players who enjoyed archwing on occasion. The controls were a bit off before but now the new archwing is trash.

    Here is why its horrible (at least to me and to another person that has archwing from the group i play with):

    There is this weird delay before you stop(you would expect the crazy technology of tenno would be a bit more responsive when stopping or accelerating). 

    Camera is way to close.

    The feeling of the speed is gone(i used to remember that flying in tunnels of corpus ships was quite cool but not anymore) .

    Its even harder to find yourself in the space(i think there was a button that would recenter your warframes position but it dsnt seem to work anymore which is horrible since its so easy to lose orientation). 

    The movement animations when turning and diving look stupid and unfinished.

    Archwing needs a bigger rework/fix .

    Its sad to see that you guys left the dojo untouched for so long , no additional decorations (even if you have assets used in numerous tile sets of moon or orokin) , no shooting range where you can test your load outs with friends  or show new players how the weapons look like in actual use.

     

    You should consider bringing old rewards back into void and stop using perfect world system of cheap cash grabs using unobtainable items(i have all of them but the new players should have the same chance of getting them as well).Archwing needs a rework , its horrible now.Some new additions to dojo would be nice(at least shooting range and new decorations from moon tileset).And the new player experience is horrible - especially the tutorials on mechanics of the ship and mission objectives.

    The map is great ,the relics feel good as well so not much to complain about.

    Its nice to see that warframe is still holding strong and great job on keeping this amazing game alive. Thx DE.

    i was fighting those things when you were still S#&$ting in that capsule on the moon dont tell me what to do or ill slap your skinny &#! back into that capsule and find a different operator

  8. Not sure why you would expect anything other than RNG. Nothing else really works on a 'progression' system, so why would Sortie rewards?

     

    I thing you are confused about the sortie rewards

    There is no Progression in it anymore , im maxed , my frames are all lvl 30 , my mods are mostly max lvl.

    Just because i don't have karak wrath it does not make me any less maxed , same with potatoes or even legendary cores , i have 12+ blue potatoes and almost as many gold ones , and i have almost 4000 cores siting in my mod arsenal

    At this point progression is over , this is "completionist" system that we follow at this point and rng DOES NOT WORK AT ALL in that system , just look at the disaster of diablo 3 vanilla rng and you will understand what im talking about.

  9. Ok lets start with good stuff.

     

    Quest.

    I'll repeat what everyone is saying. AMAZING . Great story that makes sense for warframe universe , great cut scenes that rival/surpass the best in this business , awesome content with different missions and boss battles and of course rewards that are just a cherry on top of everything else . Oh yeah and holywood lvl voice acting .

     

    Schools.

    New  grindfest addition to weapons are well design and personally i like them , it would have been nice to be able to preview the school trees before we choose them , maybe add the animation of nr 5 so we see how it would look like.

    But overall its a good addition , gives us more reasons to lvl up the weapons we rly like.

    However it would be nicer if it had backwards compatibility with the experience already gained with a weapon ,so my 5 forma guns would feel even more special - and since i have so many of them it would save me some grind but w/e , its not to bad .

     

    Moon Tile set.

    HOLY S#&$! WOW! ....

    It is THE BEST tileset up to date , its missing archewing missions in the moon asteroid fields IMO , but everything else is pure work of art , the small details , cracks on the walls , orokin energy cracks on the walls and of course THE PUZZLES.

    We have told you DE that we loved the void puzzles , we loved the void parkour rooms , finally after over year and a half plus you decide that maybe it is something that your player base likes , and YES WE DO LIKE IT.

    Great job on this tile set . WE WANT MORE OF IT!!!! (please)

     

    Sorties.

    I like it . New high lvl content for ppl that completed all the star map , that have maxed the syndicate rep and that are sitting on thousands of ducat gear stacked in their arsenals ? Bring it on .It think it should have 5 missions instead of 3 with the final mission as a high lvl boss battle , maybe a nightmare mod mission mode as the 4th. but overall a solid , solid idea and addition , feels in right place for a warframe universe.

     

    But its time for the bad as well , which are the rewards in sorties.

    No rewards for every 5 waves of a high lvl defense vs lvl 100-15 enemies? Would it be to hard to give a random t1 key after 5 waves , t2 key after 10 , t3 after 15 and t5 after 20 ? That's the least you could give players for stuff like that , it would feel much better than it is right now.

     

      And now the WORST of them all , something that pissed me off so much after ALL THOSE GREAT and AMAZING things you have given your player base .

     

    SORTIE SEASON 1 REWARD POOL .

     

    When i 1st saw it , i couldn't believe . "Did DE just gave us FAIR and REWARDING system for completing high lvl content?". "If i grind this thing for 20 days i will be able to get a legendary core ?". "OMG DE you are the BEST" .

     

    Well that's not the case here.

    Instead of giving us nice rewards for grinding sorties for 20 days and just getting new reward each day and making sure we don't get same reward twice in a row , you go back to your S#&$ty rng mode again , middle finger to the person responsible for this , you suck balls. Fire that guy , he is a Donald Trump lvl A******.Just kidding no reason to fire someone over stuff like that but to the person in charge of that reward system , have a day sir(fallout4.jpg) , you suck. 

     

    Please change it.Make it so you get rewards for going down the list , 1st are the cores 25 than 50 , than on 3rd day of doing sorties you start getting the weapon parts , than weapon bps ,school tokens, potatoes and finally on the 20th day you can get legendary core. Doesn't that just look more exciting and rewarding? There is no reason for this not be the way sortie rewards work.

    After you get all rewards for running missions for 20 days than put in that S#&$ty rng system that is in place right now , but pls do not leave it like it is right now , it's so anticlimactic when you look at all the stuff you delivered with this update.

    The possibilities for the new seasons of rewards are endless anyway , let the season run for 3 months , than change rewards and add removed void stuff , rare mods and void trader items , this stuff could give you items to run sortie rewards for at least 2 years , but please do not leave it like it is right now.

     

    So thank you for all the content you delivered with this update , most of it is amazing , truly great job.

    Have a great day DE (except for the sortie rewards guy , you can just have a day).

    it was fun at first to just fly around and shoot stuff

    but than they added a weapon that 1st you need to buy bp for , than you need RIDICULOUS amount of resources for something that you will rarely use and on top of that you need to farm parts in endless missions with S#&$ty % chances

    im sry but screw archewing and screw titan

     

    and don't even get me started on archewing mods - I played a S#&$load of archewing missions when it 1st came out
    after I saw the droprates for archewing mods I just stuck a middle finger to my screen and went on with normal warframe stuff

  11. So I came back to WF maybe a month or so ago

    I left for quite a while

    I find it funny and ironic that the changes that we cried for - like removing stamina , and bringing back the old snow globe for frost are coming in after about a year

    and they are going to be implemented not because we complained about them and presented multiple valid points in multiple posts

    they are getting implemented just because finally DE agreed that they don't like the systems/changes they implemented

     

    now just bring back old ember and ill give you a slow clap

    and OT - great job on void dilution , you rly outdid yourself there DE , all those orokin cells , or useless t2 keys or abundance of formas

    but hey lets get rid of frost/mag/weapon to reduce that dilution

    looks like your new overlords got you by the balls for the $$$

  12. I cant find the mutalist alad v navs anywhere

    I have full quest completed in my codex I have the key in my foundry but I cant find any invasions that would reward the navs

    am I bugged or is it just another horrible design? I haven't play this game for more less a year and im not sure if I should play it or not again after I see how little have been changed

  13. I had high hopes for this game

    I rly did

    but shoving interception down our throats this way is something I can not stand

    I refuse to farm t4 keys since I find interception to be the most boring type of gameplay I have ever experienced in a tps

    I was patient with grind walls on weapons , I was patient with the void table dilution , I was patient with horrible darksector and even more horrible changes to dark sectors that followed

     

    but im done now

    removed wf from my pc

    not going to reinstall since a dog that looks like wet rag and a ship that costs credits to fly around does not sound like appealing concept to me

    im a bit sad I will miss the dark sector pvp - but looking at de record they would mess this one up as well

    but ffs buff his  slash dash , make radial javelin go through environment and change super jump to something else or add things to it
