I'm stuck on these things too.

I believe I might be beating my head against them and letting it get to me, had I not my nightwave FOMO chores to distract myself with.

Yeah, i would be more accepting if this was some rare prime weapon or item, but now this is just hampering progress in the game.

I finally got the last two atmo systems I needed to clear the rank to where I can now buy them if I need them. That was excruciating.

Without fail, in every group I've run the heists with, if Atmo Systems dropped, everyone would type in all caps in the squad chat things like "WHAAAAT?" and "HOLY CRAP!" and "OMG FINALLY!" (along with a liberal sprinkling of asterisks replacing enough profanity to make a pirate's parrot faint).

Might need a second look, is all I'm saying.

Congrats! This gives me a tiny bit more strength to keep up the (senseless) grind! Still dry here 😭

try with second heist is the fastest one not either hard to archive, rest just rng just like anything else in warframe

I'm speaking for others as well. If you look at the comments at the bottom of the wiki you'll see that many are suffering as well:

Quote: "50 runs and no atmos...here are my 'dis' words. Disheartening, dispiriting, discouraging, dismaying, depressing, distressing, disenchanting."

I've spent many hours doing heists the past few weeks with only 4 Atmo's dropping so far. Managed to hoard hundreds of thousands of Vox standing worth of Toroids, still stuck at Agent rank of Vox Solaris...

I suggest buying it from little duck. Not ideal, perhaps, but an alternative nonetheless. Specially easy if you get those 6k/12k toroids from the orbs.

You can only buy Atmo Systems from Little Duck at Hand rank of Vox Solaris onwards. You need 10 Atmo Systems to even get to Hand. I have more than enough extra Toroids to buy all required Atmo & Repeller Systems for all rank ups, but have been stuck at Agent level for weeks due to not enough Atmo Systems dropping from Heists & Profit taker being too hard for me to solo currently.

I for one like that their color is based on the energy of what caused the effect, but I feel like something like this could be a toggled option in Display options for those who don;t like it.

Problem is that let's say we have many different weapons that cause Viral status, and multiple enemies with the same Viral status might be of a different color. So in the heat of battle when you need to think quick & rely on your reflexes, it's hard to tell apart which enemy has Viral or something else, because there's multiple colors of viral now.

But yeah, i agree with Xzorn that Warframe power colors are ok. But for me, having every single weapon have a different colored status effect is too much.

  5. As per the title. Please make it easier to farm [Atmo Systems], or lower the required number to advance to Hand rank of Vox Solaris. Right now it's torture to farm in Heists or Profit Taker for someone without uber maxed-out weapons or frames, also because no one seems to want to team up for these missions in recruitment chat. Seriously, for the past few weeks it's very rare to see people ask or respond in recruitment chat for Profit Taker or Heist team-ups. This is making the game frustrating & downright depressing for me, something you shouldn't feel too often while trying to have fun in a game.

Just reading the comments on this wiki shows that i'm not alone, and am supported by the majority.

    https://warframe.fandom.com/wiki/Atmo_Systems?page=1#article-comments

Other than these frustrations, thanks for your ongoing work on the game.

  6. I agree with changing mission briefing away from Holo Lotus. The reason for me is that it breaks story immersion, as some of the things she says is not logical as a hologram and shouldn't act as personal as if she was still around and calling the shots.

Also, Konzu's words during Cetus/Plains bounty missions should not refer to Lotus as if she was still the one in constant contact with them.

  7. Please, please consider uncoupling the colors of active status effects on enemies from your weapon energy color, as it was before a recent update. I love the new status effect animations but the colors on enemies have been totally confusing to me and messes up my brain coordination seeing enemies running around glowing in all types of bright colors, due to all the different weapon colors used by squad. An ice-frozen enemy should be frosty white always, not bright pink!

As mentioned, in the quick heat of battle it has been confusing to my senses and always makes me second-glance & stop to think, ruining the flow for me. From a distance or at a quick glance in the heat of battle, it is hard to tell which status effect is on each enemy. For the first week i was confused when enemies around me randomly started glowing bright violet, before then realizing it was my sentinel's Artax applying freeze to enemies.

I don't mind elemental colors on your melee weapon and frame powers following custom energy colors, it's a nice part of personalization, and it's easy to recognize each player's unique frame power color after observing 1 or 2 power casts. But please let the status effects on enemies follow a universal look that is easy to recognize from a split-second glance.

Otherwise, thankyou for constantly working-on and improving this game for the better in nearly every aspect! 🙂

Please enable Primary Weapon Secondary Fire while Melee is Equipped

Many weapons have an important secondary fire/toggle (like Phantasma, Zarr etc.) that i cannot use anymore immediately after melee attacking.

I'm mainly a Corinth secondary Air-burst user who needs to shoot air-bursts all the time, and i'm now frustrated that after doing a quick melee (where melee is brought out & fully equipped now) I cannot immediately shoot off a Corinth secondary air-burst at a crucial time, but have to shoot 1 primary fire shot first before primary weapons is equipped again and i can then blow up the whole group instantly with my secondary fire air-burst. I don't need that button for melee channel, as i don't use it and even if i did i have it mapped to a different key (and as i understand, melee channel will be done away with soon anyway).

Also, i can't press the "switch weapons" button anymore to bring out the primary weapon again after melee is equipped, in order to fire off an air-burst, it changes to secondary weapon...

Forgive me if this was mentioned earlier in this forum, i haven't had time to finish reading every page.

Other than that, I like the melee 2.999 improvements and love the direction that you guys are taking this, and i'm sure these kinks would be ironed out eventually as melee 3.0 continues to be worked on 🙂

Just found out today that i could equip Primary Weapon again after melee by right-click aiming, and thus am able to shoot off a secondary fire shot immediately. This is just a stop-gap solution though. Again, please enable instant secondary fire while melee equipped.

I'd agree. One thing I've learned from reading this thread and keeping track of the conversation is that a lot of people have some really unique setups. Like, that one guy used Spacebar for blocking? Madman!

But basically the TL;DR is that you can't ASSUME people are going to be playing this game with the default keys. I mean to be honest the default bindings are garbage. We need greater control over our controls. We need OPTIONS. Do we want quick melee to equip our melee weapon properly? Do we want Weapon Switch to swap back to our last used gun or the other one? Do we want autoblock or manual block?

We need OPTIONS for these things. What we DON'T need to be told is that we're not playing 'the right way'. Because that's what you're doing if you change the controls to the detriment of a great number of people and just tell them to get used to it. You're telling them that they're doing it WRONG, and they have to learn to play the RIGHT WAY.

Give us options. Don't try and pigeonhole everyone into one controlscheme, because it's NOT going to work.

I almost NEVER use default key bindings, for nearly every game. For Warframe i have:

    Ability Power 1, 2, 3, & 4 = Mouse Button 5, E, Z, & Left Alt.

Interact/Activate = F (like nearly every other game out there)

Switch weapons = 1, & 2 for equip melee during the old system.

Melee = Mouse Button 4 (how can you even use E for this?? Not enough fingers to freely stafe right [D key] while melee'ing). Before Melee 2.999 i would use Left Mouse Button for equipped melee & Mouse 4 as quick melee, but decided to get used to 1 melee button only in preparation for Melee 3.0.

Many other non default keys too but these are the ones relevant to this topic.
