They really have ramped up the content drops this year right out of the gate. Goes to show Fortuna was a really heavy burden.

I was hoping they add an 'Open world LOD' slider already. That would benefit both low end and high end but i'm no game designer so i don't how it might affect the online aspect of the game.

What do you mean more diverse progression? U can get fortuna standing from bounties, fishing, mining and hunting. That's variety if if i say so myself.

She's fine for the most part. I would want ripline to maybe work a little better as a movement ability with open world and all and maybe paralysis having knockdown

His abilities really look visually pleasing especially his 1st and 4th skills. I can imagine just playing him with a polearm to fit the theme and making use of his 2nd and 3rd skills then bringing out the fists for a can of whoop ass!

I'd like to think Valkyr is up there in terms of sheer brute strength. That high armor value and her physique makes me think she can arm wrestle rhino or atlas toe to toe

Didn't early 2018 do weapon changes? We got riven changes too. Chimera update did a ton of fixes(granted a few more bugs popped up). New jupiter tileset incoming and melee 3.0.
Archwing i'm sure will be looked at when railjack is on the horizon. I don't see many problems with regular missions. Modding and Damage Overhaul would need alot of man power that DE can't afford over pushing new content.

I think this whole height problem is for performance. I think they scaled back the render distance for more performance because when i go just a little high as zephyr i can see the shrubs and vegetation below me become 2D. The Plains runs much better though since the chimera update(less hitches and loading).

If plat is easier to get for some people then go buy rare parts and sell it for ducats. You people do realise it's a f2p grinding game right? I see void fissures more rewarding than just regular missions anyways as i get chances of plat and ducats.

Lol no. i'm talking about 'new' content. I'm at the point in the game where i have to choose what i want to do with no clear path so it's constant repeat of levels grinding for gear and exp. That's what i expect from the game and i'm having fun with it don't get me wrong and i've played MMOs that only give updates every like 8 months for years. I only said i can somewhat feel the content drought because aside from constantly leveling and collecting them all, there's not much else new areas to explore aside from maybe plains.

Fortuna will be my first major update since i started playing and i started in june and can somewhat feel the content drought. I don't mind waiting especially this season where so many games are coming out you might as well take a little break from WF.
I can see why fortuna might be taking so long cuz like they're making a huge new open world map in the timespan of what i assume would be just over a year. Their updates are starting to get more ambitious and that requires more time and manpower, simpe as that. Let's hope the wait for fortuna is worth it and actually has content to last close up to the next major update.
That DOESN'T justify the fact though that they aren't filling this long content drought with something even a little worthy event that's not the DAMN GHOULS. Also i expected better of that relay reconstruntion event, it just felt so meh.

Haven't tried the method above yet, but i've also been experiencing some hard fps dips that kick my gpu to 99% usage that i never got before the Saint of Altra update. Currently on a GTX 1050(latest drivers) with most of the graphics settings set to low/disabled 720p.
It's especially noticable in earth missions and occasionally some old tilesets after a certain while in mission. I also notice the dips when just moving my camera and/or just doing regular movements like jumping in one place.
