  1. It's been strangely difficult for me to find any clear answers on this topic, but what the heck's up with some of these revamped controls? You have to play twister with your hands to blink and it's nearly impossible to keep up your momentum. Also, what happened to the afterburners? They seem to have been removed completely and I cannot for the life of me find out how to use them, though people keep saying they're still around. The Wiki page on archwing maneuvers says "shift + spacebar" like it used to be but that doesn't work. I also heard somewhere that it starts automatically if you just hold shift long enough but that definitely doesn't seem to be the case.

I never thought I'd say this either but I really miss the old archwing movement system. Not even considering some of the inconvenient controls, the new movement just feels...off.

Level doesn’t matter, they are like specters that only stick around for 2 min.

No. You can only trade converted lich. So no matter what you will be spending 2-3 hours getting murmurs before you can move on.

    Random

Dang, that's a bit of a bummer on the second one. Idk why that'd be the case, it's not like it could be exploited or anything, seeing as you still have to have put in the work to convert the Lich in the first place. Ah well, not a huge deal, just a mild annoyance at worst.

Thank you for the answers though! I admit I'm still scratching my head a bit on the first one though... I converted my second Lich recently and managed to luck out and keep him at rank 1. When he showed up during a mission later, he was level 10. The first Lich I converted meanwhile was rank 5 and he showed up as a level... It was either 30 or 80, I admit I only glanced at it and it was a bit hectic. But it was certainly higher than 10.

I mean I'm sure it doesn't matter a lot since like you said they only linger for a bit, specter style (which is a bit of a waste, I hope DE has them be more useful in the future but that's a whole other topic), but still, it's curious.

  3. What it says on the tin; there's a few things about the system that I'm having a difficult time finding answers for. Probably either due to the fact that the system is still so new, or because I'm the only weirdo who cares about these particular points.

Anyway, what I'm wondering is, if you want to recruit a Lich instead of kill it, does its rank matter at all? As in would it be better for me to try and recruit a level 5 Lich for a more powerful ally vs, say, a level 2 Lich? Or does it not matter?

I'm also wondering if there's a way to just...be rid of a recruited Lich that you don't want for any reason. I assume trading would permanently get rid of a Lich, but is there another way?

And finally, are all of the quirks a Lich can come out with (vain, scared of kubrows, paranoid, etc) truly random or does the planet its formed on factor in, or anything else?

    Cheers!

  4. Having an issue where my Nightwave rank isn't ranking up beyond the second rank, though I've gotten more than enough rep to be past rank 2. Screenshot included as evidence. Pretty frustrating to say the least.

EDIT:: To clarify a bit further, I noticed something amiss after finishing the relic-breaking challenge and returned to my ship only to get the endo reward a second time rather than the robotic slots reward.

  5. Oof, I've noticed this with my kavats as well. Mine usually have a yellow energy. I can't quite tell if the eyes are affected mostly due to the lighting on my ship, but the tail glows are definitely affected. 😞

That said, in the more neutral lighting of the stasis view, the eyes do seem to be the correct energy color, but the tails are still messed up. They don't quite glow anymore either, you can't tell in the picture but at least on my first cat the colors look flat and sorta twitch at the edges.

  6. Ever since this recent change to how energy colors work, there's a pretty unsightly visual bug on the Zastruga helmet for Frost. Certain parts of the animation are a bit too...solid looking, where I swear they weren't before. It's possible to nullify this issue by changing the energy colors correlated to the glowing effect of the helmet to black... But then the helmet doesn't glow at all, which is a real bummer.

It's upsetting my fashion sense. 😧

  7. So I finally got off my butt and ground out the last bit of rep I needed to max out my standing with Fortuna. Now, I was already aware of the whole plot twist and the heartwarming dialogue you get from Eudico on reaching Old Mate, because I'd watched the whole thing over my boyfriend's shoulder while he was playing on his account. All the same I was excited to get there myself, and excited for my friends who've managed to avoid spoilers to get there.

Buuuuut... There wasn't any of that fanfare when I reached Old Mate. Eudico didn't say a word and when I talked to her again she just went into her current dialogue about the fissures opening up around the Orb Vallis. Luckily every other NPC still has their dialogue when you see their real face for the first time, but it's certainly jarring to get nothing from Eudico.

Any plans on fixing this? Surely it can't be difficult to have her say this one-time only special bit of dialogue before she goes back to giving me a quick geology lesson.

  8. It's in the title -- the operator animation/stance isn't showing up in my profile nor any I view. The warframe's stance seems unaffected, but it's a bit irritating to see my operator just standing there stiff as a board.

Hardly game-breaking but certainly annoying. My operator deserves to look at least half as good as my warframe on the profile page, otherwise what's the point of all the fashion I've spent platinum on, lol. Anyone else having this issue right now?

  9. Looking to sell this female Smeeta Kavat. Has Big Balled Ears, Guppy Tail, and White Energy color. 100p though I'm more than willing to negotiate, please just PM me in game to discuss. SOLD

As I said, I'm willing to haggle on the price a bit. Just contact me in game at Paradox0S if you're interested and we can work something out.
