  1. The only thing i ever wanted for the UI...

And your idea is not quite right with the OP point. Basically, he wants to equipe different unranked mods on different items (like before DE introduced stack feature on unranked), not like only one unranked mod for every items like we have now.

Basically what he said. Before the stack feature, every unranked mod was shown separately. I honestly prefer that over the stack feature. This has to be addressed. At least a filter or a separate category needs to be made.

  2. I have encountered an annoying problem. I recently got a new melee weapon, and I have noticed that when I equip unranked mods to later upgrade them, the unranked mods that the game gives me to equip are already on other melee weapons that carry unranked mods.

    An example would be:

I equip an unranked Reflex Coil out of the 50+ that I have available. However, the unranked mod is already equipped on another melee weapon and the game gives me that unranked mod to equip on my new melee weapon.

Basically, it appears that the game cannot differentiate unequipped unranked mods and equipped rank mods. Every time I want to upgrade an unranked mod that so happens to be equipped on another weapon because of the share feature, I am forced to go to my mod inventory, upgrade an unranked mod, and then search for it when upgrading my weapon. However, the same mod has ranked copies that show up alongside the unranked ones.

What I am saying is that it would be nice to have a category for shared mods, both ranked and unranked. That way, we can filter out shared ranked and unranked mods from not shared ranked and unranked mods.

  4. Can't DE just make the game run via a back up server or something. I wouldn't mind a small lag, but this wait is just really getting on my nerves. I am done with everything that I had planned out for the day. Nothing is good on TV and Warframe is honestly the only game I have been playing for the past few months because it is a really fun game.

And I got some stuff to sell on trade for low costs. A full Paris Prime set, frost prime set, bps, maybe a whip stance mod that I don't need.

  5. I was able to connect to the game and talk to some people who were on the chat. They said that the servers have stabilized a bit. Five minutes later, I got disconnected. That is understandable.

However, right now, when I tried to log back in to the game, first of all, my warframe which is Valkyr got changed into Excalibur in the log in screen inside the game. When I tried entering my password, a message box appeared saying that I should check the info that I have put in to get into the game. It said something about log-in failed, check info.

The two questions that I have are:

    1. Is the Excalibur thing a glitch or did I just lose everything in my account from attempting to log-in?

    2. Are the devs close to fixing the server issues after this DDOS attack?

  6. Yesterday, I managed to get the Shattering Storm stance mod from General Sargas Ruk. Since it is a stance mod used for hammers, I equipped it on my Jat Kittag which is currently my favorite melee weapon. When I checked the melee combos for the stance mod, it showed for the first combo to press E E E E which is the usual attack. The second had EEE a down arrow + E E.

Can somebody explain what the down arrow means. I tried using the left mouse and right mouse buttons but those only do melee channel and block.

Also, I tried the other combos for wall-running, jump attack, sliding attack, and finishers, but the animations are the same as the animations from melee 1.0

I honestly thought that the stance mods will actually change the animations with normal attacks and special attacks.

  7. I was wondering why I couldn't find my Tethra reward mods.

Strange, I was able to find my Tethra reward mods. The mods that do not appear and the ones I have listed below are just some of them that I have noticed to be affected by this:

Hellfire (I have 15 of these yet only the ranked one appears when upgrading weapons on the current weapon that is being upgraded)

Vitality (I have around 40 of these and same issue like with Hellfire)

    Redirection

    Flow

    Intensify

    Etc...

Basically every mod that has been upgraded in the past 2-3 days as far as I can tell doesn't have its duplicates that are unranked appear when upgrading stuff.

I guess for the time being I will just have to postpone building my Phage and Jat Kittag. And this also means that weapons and Warframes will have to share the same mod. Have fun upgrading stuff :P

  8. I have encountered a strange glitch or bug which is apparently causing unranked mods to no longer appear in the mod selection bar when upgrading weapons or Warframes. I have many duplicates of certain mods like vitality, redirection, flow, etc... and now those unranked duplicates are no longer showing up. When I checked my inventory for mods, I saw that I had ranked mods and unranked mods. However, when I checked the mods when upgrading stuff, the unranked did not appear.

I tried logging out and logging back in, thinking it might be some sort of problem which could be solved by restarting the game... nothing happened. Because of this, I am now not capable of continuing to upgrade my Nekros, Vauban, Braton Prime, and Gorgon Wraith and a few other weapons. Also, every time I try to upgrade any of the mods currently equipped in the mentioned Warframes and weapons (since these are the last things I have been working on leveling up), I get a message saying that the mod I am trying to upgrade is currently equipped in a certain weapon or Warframe and it mentions which out of A,B, and C slots it is in. Luckily, my Dual Zorens and Ballistica which are almost ranked level 30 are not affected by this strange bug...for now.

I also attempted to remove all the mods on my Braton Prime to try to upgrade my Gorgon Wraith. When I did that, the unranked versions of the mods appeared. It is like all the unranked mods get thrown into a slot and the game doesn't take only one duplicate.

Is it possible a new setting was added or is there a problem with the game after some recent hotfix?

    Hope this makes sense lol.

  10. I won't be much help but it sounds like the current drivers you are using are conflicting with either:

    A) The games newest updates are conflicting with the drivers you are currently running.

    B) The drivers are conflicting with the game.

    C) Your motherboard (PCIE x16 slots) or BIOS is conflicting with the GPU.

I would suggest re-installing drivers, if the problem still proceeds you can try installing the drivers with a custom install and pick each driver to install one by one and run the game to test if the driver is working properly, this will allow you to figure out which driver exactly is conflicting with said games. You might also want to check if your BIOS is properly updated as well as try plugging your GPU into a different PCIE slot, although I doubt this is your issue if problems are happening just now.

And of course I wouldn't do any of this until you have contacted Warframe support first, it's best to get their opinions on things.

I made another post on this because apparently this post got ignored. I found a possible solution to this problem. What I did was:

    1. Open Nvidia Control Panel

2.Go to Adjust image settings with preview

3.Select Let the 3D application decide

After doing that, I was able to play World of Tanks for 2 hours without any lag or signs of an incoming crash. In fact, somehow my fps increased to a stable 40-100fps even though I play the game on high settings instead of max because max kind of hurts my eyes.

I played Warframe after for 2 hours without any lag or signs of an incoming crash. Only two things are still happening, first the planets would still start blinking, but changing warframes seems to cure that graphic issue. Another thing is that in the Void, there is a sudden lag increase when I enter the room with 3 floors, a large tree in the center, and 4 touch pads on the stairs that when touched in a correct order, open the walls to reveal lockers and containers. I am assuming there is just too many details in that specific area that it is taking the servers and the computer to communicate a little longer. The moment I get further away from that room, everything goes back to normal. This was during a Tower 1 Exterminate Void mission.

I have read somewhere that Voids and Orokin Derelicts have become slightly buggy after some recent patch or update. In fact, I just remembered to test Orokin Derelicts. Hope it works fine. :D

  11. I have problems with all those things.

Good news. I think I found a way to fix these crashes.

If you have Nvidia Control Panel, click it. Then go to "Adjust image settings with preview", then select "Let the 3D Application Decide." I believe that the settings you may have enabled so that you can apply the option "Use advanced 3D image settings" might be causing issues with certain games.

Basically, instead of using the settings you have for general 3D use, the application decides what it needs.

I do not know why all of a sudden this is the case, but my theory seems to work. I play 2 hours of World of Tanks without any sign of a possible crash. In fact, I have been getting a stable 40-100 fps with excellent ping.

Warframe also ran smoothly for 2 hours without any signs of possible crashes. There is however two things that I have noticed. The planets do continue to blink once in a while, but it appears that if you switch warframes, this graphic issue goes away. I also ran a Tower 1 Exterminate Void mission, and I had no signs of possible crashes. However, areas with a lot of details such as the room where there is a large tree in the center, and 4 pads that should be touched in a certain order to open a hidden treasure room behind a wall had a good amount of lag. The moment I got out of that room, fps increased, and there was no more lag.

Hope this helps. Good luck. :)

  12. I am going to try one other thing.

Morcant has suggested to make these settings.

Speaking generally, this seems to be the most stable configuration for Warframe: DirectX 11 disabled -- 64-bit disabled -- PhysX disabled -- If 2+ core CPU, multi-threaded rendering enabled. (Worth noting that multi-threaded rendering can still be buggy for some users.)

    https://forums.warframe.com/index.php?/topic/142019-warframe-and-pc-crash/

  13. Actually, have you tried running Warframe with DX11 disabled in the launcher?

You should really try doing a clean install of your Nvidia drivers. Uninstall your current drivers completely, and try installing the 331.92 Beta drivers.

Did that yesterday, game crashed even faster, especially in void. Just did another test with 64bit mode disabled and the rest of the options enabled, crashed in void tower 1 exterminate at 25 enemies. I started seeing lag around areas filled with trees. I have read in the Forums that areas with trees seem to cause some performance problems although I never had that before.

Also when the game crashed, only a black screen showed up.

I feel that something else is putting too much load on my system. It could very well be that Alienware Command Center thing. However, I never had any issues with it. I will try running compatibility mode, see if that changes anything. Strange how over one update, this is happening.

Also I have read in the Forums that there has been an increase of crash reports ever since update 11 was released.

  14. Honestly I find most people who have problems with this game crashing have more problems with their computer as a whole than they're willing to admit here.

    This game doesn't crash.

If it crashes, format your computer, reinstall; Windows, drivers, Warframe. If your game still crashes, list all the specs of your system including model numbers as there could be an incompatibility.

I am giving all information that I can. And I am not hiding anything.

  15. I've actually been having this exact problem.

Which means that not only do I have 4 faulty RAM sticks, but my video card is also failing.

    Wonderful.

Don't be to quick to think that its the hardware. If it was the hardware, you would have problems running other games, both old and new. You might even have problems running videos or programs that require a lot of resources such as Citrix.

I have a feeling other people are experiencing similar issues but for different reasons. I will do some extra research on this, seeing as how not a lot of people know of a possible solution around here or a reason why, besides potential hardware failure.

  16. This means the Nvidia driver you have installed is faulty. You should uninstall the Nvidia driver and reinstall it. If the drivers are still failing, it could be faulty hardware in your graphics card. That being said, certain components on circuit boards can fail after certain amounts of time. A single bad transistor or capacitor may not cause catastrophic failure in the GPU or computer, but it can result in incorrect calculations which can result in graphic artifacting and even crashes of games, software, drivers, etc.

Have you also tried running in Fullscreen Windowed instead of full screen?

Also moving to Players Helping Players.

I turned off multi-thread rendering just now to test the game without that setting (suggested by a friend) even though I have 4 cores. Ran a survival on Saturn where some crashes occurred, nothing wrong happened after 15 minutes. I have read that this multi-thread rendering is in beta or something like that and maybe a bit buggy for some people. I do not think that this is a hardware problem, because if it was, I would have trouble running Star Wars The Old Republic which also has a lot of details. I play that game on max settings without issue.

I think there might be a memory leak somewhere inside Warframe which seems to stick around until it decides to retire, only to come back again.

World of Tanks is a different story. Only reason I brought it up is because both games starting acting up around the same time, so I thought that one of them was messing up the computer. World of Tanks did have a massive graphics update which could be putting a bit too much load on the computer even though I have managed to play it a few days ago for a few hours without any crashes. (Did not play warframe on that day)

  17. I have been experiencing issues with the game Warframe. Lately, the game would crash 5-10 minutes upon start up. The game will have a frame drop rate from a stable 40-60 fps to a sudden 8 fps, freeze, and then the game crashes to desktop. I would get a notification saying that the Nvidia Driver Kernel 331.82 has become unresponsive and has recovered.

Void missions are now impossible to play in because the game would crash 3 minutes into the Void. I have managed to run a single survival tier 1 void mission for 5 minutes without any problems. As soon as I clicked on a planet and any node available, the game would run fine for 5 minutes, and then when the lag occurs, the game crashes.

This has started when update 11 or 11.5 has been made. Also, when I updated the game, everything worked fine for hours, but then two days later, I would have the problems occur as mentioned above. Also, I have noticed that in the menu where you can select planets, the planets would start blinking.

I was able to play the game on max settings with all the options that can be found in the game launcher enabled perfectly fine before update 11 or 11.5. Another thing to point out is that the Cicero Crisis worked perfectly fine without any drop in performance.

All my drivers are up-to-date. I have also started playing this game in August 2013 and everything worked fine back then.

If this will help, here are some specs of my computer.

    I have a Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit

    Alienware X51

DirectX 11 (I tried disabling this in the game launcher because I read that sometimes disabling it might work, but it didn't help)

My card is Nvidia GeForce GTX 660

One other thing. These problems started happening around the same time when World of Tanks got updated to version 10. Similar symptoms would occur in that game. When I checked to see what programs are using my computer's resources heavily by using TuneUp Utilities, I noticed that World of Tanks was constantly working in the background. I disabled it and that supposedly helped until the next day, the same problems occurred.

I also have an Alienware Command Center (comes with Alienware X51) on my computer and I saw that it takes a good amount of resources and that it takes a good load on the computer.

I honestly do not understand how everything worked perfectly fine for an entire year, but now two games are working incorrectly at the same time. Also, I am starting to experience issues with my other games. Some of them would show similar symptoms except no crashes. I think that World of Tanks is the reason why this is happening because when I opened that game's files, I saw that it has torrent files in it alongside patch files. Now why would they need torrent files... (I asked a friend about this and he told me to uninstall World of Tanks to see if that fixes the problem) Before I do anything, I need your opinion on the matter.

I checked my dxdiag and no problems were found. I also run task manager to view GPU and CPU activity while playing games to look for possible memory leaks, just in case :)
