Forgive me if this has been asked/answered elsewhere, but the Day of the Dead Skin packs confuse me ...

The tooltip (in the market place) indicates that they get "retired" at the end of the event. What does that mean? 

Obviously you can't purchase them after the event, but if you do purchase during the event, can you use them afterwards?

 

I ask, because the price (in Platinum) seems quite high for a cosmetic one can only use for two weeks (give or take). The Halloween color palette costs only a single credit, so .. if it's only useable during Halloween, that's fine, because it's a negligible investment on the part of the player. 

If the Day of the Dead skin packs are also limited to the same (or a similar) time frame, then I have to wonder at the high price. If they're permanently available to those who buy them during the event, then the price (in Platinum) is fine. But if they're only temporary, then I'll save my Platinum. 

 

So.. if anyone knows, I'd appreciate some clarification. 

[Foundry not building frames/Not counting down]

Try checking the actual time, then closing the Foundry window, waiting a minute or two and then opening it up again. Has the time to completion changed? 

I noticed this, but the frames are actually building (at least for me), the display of the timer is what's frozen, the actual build process is fine.
