  1. I have been using Loki's Irradiating Disarm and Nyx's Pacifying Bolts for a bit now.

     

    These are my observations:

     

    Irradiating Disarm does not work nearly as well as I had hoped when I first saw it released. The enemy AI under this affect seem to attack higher aggro targets. When defending points (pods and terminals) over half the disarmed and radiation proc-ed enemies usually rush the objective and this has overwhelmed my team a few times. When using it in survival or interception it works a lot better; as in the enemies will attack themselves.

     

    Enemies affected by Nyx's chaos seem to aggro by proximity due to each enemy generating their own aggro. They are much more likely to attack the person next to them instead of going for the objective. I found that her augment mod, Pacifying Bolts, makes for a great back up when chaos is still in effect. I am usually able to disarm a majority of a newly spawned group of enemies. But I find it frustrating that the bolts will hit the same targets instead of looking for new targets not under the disarmed affect.

     

    To me both are equal.

    Irradiating Disarm makes for a good ultimate augment mod.

    Pacifying bolts does greatly reduce the shortfalls of chaos not being able to recast on demand. 

     

    Although, I would like to see a targeting change in Pacifying Bolts when this augment is equipped to go after unaffected enemies first. 

     

    Overall,

     

    I would still use Nyx over Loki in (on average) for defensive type missions.

    Neither have been replaced but both have been made respectively better, in my opinion. 

     

     

     

  2. Overall, I am satisfied with the current argon crystal mechanic and its current drop rate. However, when farming for prime parts it's easy to obtain a dozen or so argon crystals at a time. The only kind of useful thing to continue to build with argon crystals is the incubator power core. 

     

    I don't think it's fair to not give players choices on how to spend a resources with a shelf life. I do not know the future goals DE has with argon crystals but I would like to propose the following.

     

    How about adding a "Large Team (Energy,Shield,Ammo,Health) Restore" to the game? Or maybe just call it an Orokin Team Restore? Same principle as with a Medium Team Restore but for example it would require 1 argon crystal to create 1 of the Large/Orokin Team Restores. To separate it from the other restores make it restore twice as fast. 

     

    How it works and what the costs should be are not the main point here. But I think players should have the option to always be able use argon crystals in a way to reward the them for playing; instead of just watching them expire.
