  1. Fixing things so the ability would work with the new zones sounds great. I don't know coding but perhaps this would at some point be the infrastructure for something else that works with lighting. And future-proofing, as you said, for the lighting system.

For the ability cast, I'd like it to be a toggle where you keep the bonus of where you started the ability with. So a player would have to go stand near a lamp to cast it for day and would keep that bonus throughout the duration. Or stand in the shadows to get the damage reduction so they can run around for a while, being more survivealbe.

  2. He's fun because you can play him as simple as his abilities look or you can get into his mechanics and pull a lot of value out of him. I'd say he has good cc even though cc isn't the games' big thing right now.

  3. I generally use firearms as a secondary killing tool, I prefer melee.

I love my boar prime because it's good at spreading status. 100% status with radiation is excellent at high levels when enemies take a lot of shots to take down. Viral makes the job easier with all factions and isp is important for condition overload (as someone who likes melee). It also rolls lv 100 enemies over (and I have a riven which helps).

My secondary is often pyrana. Good at clearing areas of most enemies fast. Helps me when I'm carrying things and when I'm going down - I can clear enemies for team mates so they'll have easier time reviving me. If I feel like using a different kind of heavy hitter instead I'll go with euphona.

  4. They are quite strong as people said. They can also handle arc guns on land and still be more mobile than a human, if with some adjustments.

I also think about frame and weapon ranks (1 through 30) as the tenno learning to use the frame\gun and mods as the tenno learning to amplify the gears' qualities.

The main reason is the amount of troll limbos and the normal limbos.

I respect a good limbo player because i know that mastering limbo is hard but they are too few.

There are too many players that have bad experiences with troll limbos and have started not to trust them.

This! So much this! And sorry this is off topic, but it's a sore point.

  6. I feel like most people wouldn't know about it? I'm playing for a while and I'm content with my energizing dash and passively leveling focus stuff, just working my way towards the waybounds. A bunch of people I met also share this view point.

...also, I usually run an oberon so I don't look for more healing. The protective dash looks good though, I've nothing against it.

  7. Every mission in this game is a dungeon, which reminds me of vindictus... A close thing to a dungeon would be assassination missions and you can see how those are handled.

I like the eidolons as a boss fight that you're going to want to group up for and if you look at it it's not like a traditional dungeon exactly... Which I think play to the games' strengths

  8. You can do the gas stealth trick. There're some vids on youtube regarding this, they can explain it better than me.

The twin krokhur with CO and viral is pretty strong and the tiger stance will give you knowckdowns and thus finishers. Might work.

If you're getting to them via mission like survival your melee should be strong enough with high enough combo counter at that point to kill them very quickly.

Otherwise this thread is already full with mean ways to deal with them.

  9. My brain is too tired to do the thing with CR but here it is for COC:

Arcane energy is a Force effect, hard to counter. +1

Restrained and advantage, how do you call bless and doom fundamentals rolled into the same spell? +2

    60ft cone is a large area, +1

Unable to make saves is a huge debuff, +3

I'd sat the spell is a level 7 spell when used in good intention.

Traditionally a cone thing should have a dex \ reflex saving throw...

*You have a wording or design flaw - you need the wizard turn to be between you and the enemies because they can't resist anything untill it's their turn. Example - you use that on a group of balors, the wizard mind control them and they can't resist... That's a problem.

  10. Disclaimer: opinions ahead!

Many years ago, my time quitting was with vir. Couldn't beat him. Ran out of ammo. He hit hard when I got close. Tried with a squad. We died. Tried alone again, no good. Friends dragged me back a couple of years later and I'm still here.

So, first station for quitting: when you have to deal with game systems that you have no knowledge about. When does that happen? When you actually need to mod your weapon and frames. Very. Early.

Since I'm on the subject - there is nothing in the game that explain what's going on in the plains, stuff like what's the quills and where to find them. The map doesn't show us all the npcs and it's impossible to guess something like the quills even exist. Warframe does that with a lot of things. Kuva, focus, mods... Crafting weapons is mid way because by talking to the vendors we can guess what we're suppose to do. I remember that when I started I had no idea that the mods station is a thing I can interact with. This is the reason for why I'm investing time in explaining things to newcomers. I had 30-45 minutes of going back and forth with q&a just because new people can't guess all of this stuff. More than once. Now gladly there's a lot of content explained on youtube and info is easier to find, but still.

To summarize - the start of the game right when you finish earth and ask yourself if you even do something with the things you collected, and then there's nothing in the game itself to give you that answer.

Second point of quitting - when the game focus shifts from exploration to grinding.

After doing all the quests, fighting all the bosses and completing all the missions. When someone realize they have the game in their pocket the sensation of repetition becomes stale. The gameplay is awesome and fun but for some people loosing the experience of finding out more about warframe is too much. They want something that will keep exciting them. Doing the same mission with different weapon or warframe is good and fun for the first few minutes, after we've done just that for many many times. I love testing out new warframes and this bothers me less, but that's just me. I think people quit at some point here.

Not while jumping, but rather during flight. We already have aim glide during jumps. Slowing down a bit or keeping the momentum during Razorwing mode ADS would keep her mobile at all times which is good for avoiding that full stop that would make you vulnerable for a few seconds while shooting.

Yeah, fire rate doesn't really matter. Hip firing during flight would still be wobbly either way. ADS is as accurate as it can be. It only depends on how a player wants it to be. I like it slow but punchy, to maximize every bullet.

Recovering faeries would be awesome, considering you are mostly going to be in Razorwing mode all the time. But I don't particularly rely on them for damage, so it doesn't matter either way.

Stopping is the worst thing you could ever do with Titania. It makes you vulnerable to attacks. I like to play through strafing runs (prepping yourself for an attack from afar, then fly along the enemy's blind spot while shooting his sweet spot as you rush towards him, and then escape when you're out of bullets, ad infinitum. LOL I can't explain it quite well.). You should try it man, it's so satisfying. The splash is more for the mobs when you're shooting from above, and wouldn't be a major factor during boss battles.

    Late reply but ehh...

Anyways I'll have to try it at some point. I love her and even forma'd her pixia but I don't use her. It's going to the future tdl.
