It's not about the weapons or MR, it's about the mods. If you feel like you don't do enough damage you should consider putting a mod elemental combo in your weapon for example Toxin+Electricity which makes Corrosive damage and that is great vs Grineers because it has bonus dmg against them and reduces their armor.
here is a VERY simple and cheap build for your Guandao

You can get the Lesion at mastery 7, which is one of the best weapons in the game

IIRC, Sentinels have a limit on attacking if the Frame isn't doing anything, to counter AFK shenanigans.
I'm killing them before and after Carrier starts shooting and after the first wave on the left, it stop shooting. I also tried to pause/unpause the ai and same result
Now it seems to be working, i think it was the invincibility, thanks for your time guys 🙂

The best thing you can do is learn how to mod weapons instead of looking for a powerful one. Build the ones that inspire you the most and just put an elemental combination for example electricity+toxin, which makes corrosive damage(you will see a huge difference against grineers).

Mirage does good damage and that's all..one of the most boring frames

This is probably the best budget build you can do on the Atterax (without maiming strike) and you only need to put one forma on it. This works well until lvl 40+
Burning wasp adds 10 mod capacity and Gladiator might/rush are both really easy to get.
