If it's boring, don't do it. If it's too difficult, don't do it. If you hate the mission type, don't do it. If you have time constraints and the mission is too long, don't do it. None of these challenges are required, nor are you going to get left behind if you choose not to do a couple missions. The fact that people want every single challenge to align with what their vision of the game should be is absolutely silly. It's literally impossible to make everyone happy.

I do however agree with the post above there there needs to be some sort of change to accommodate newer players, and make it easier for them to gather the required resources to progress. I don't see why the old alert system and the new alert system can't coincide somehow.

If there needs to be a change to accommodate certain players, (newer players), then your suggestion to avoid Nightwave if you don't like it, doesn't apply.

Previously, if a player wanted to collect 5 nitain for a blueprint, they could play 5 nitain alert reward missions. No grinding. What is that, like 30 minutes or so of gameplay? Sure, it might take a week to see that many nitain alerts when logged in, but play-time is nothing. Now one must grind through 30,000 nightwave standing to get the first cred reward to purchase nitain, or pray to RNGesus and run the few missions that offer nitain as a 2% chance or less in the rotation-c drop tables. A new player will have difficulty grinding through that much standing in the allotted time, and won't be able to acquire nitain through other means without grinding dozens of hours of content.

The best part of alerts, is that there was no grind. Do this mission and get this reward. It was direct and instant. Basically a free gift. Warframe is not lacking in the grind department. I think Nightwave is a great addition, but there is absolutely no reason it should replace alerts with more grind. The damn weekly alert tab still exists for crying out loud, along with every other "alert" type (invasions, syndicates, fissures, etc.). If people don't voice their opinions about the systems in Warframe that they dislike, then DE will never improve them.
