Happened to me too.. all I knew was that it had something to do with my network. So I connected my Xbox over my Mobile Hotspot instead of my router and the game logged in.

I know this isn't a permanent fix, but you can claim login rewards and look after your important stuffs this way

I too had this problem yesterday. I still can't find the exact reason behind it, but I suspect some kind of network issue (from router). I switched on my mobile hotspot and connected my console to it and the game logged in just fine.
