I think there are doors that should open when the objective is completed. I think it is possible sometimes for them to not open at all. Was this a particular alert mission? If it was just a normal then you could just try redo it rather than finding extraction in frustration for 30 min lol

If you still don't find extraction after trying it one or two more times, I guess thats on DEs side to fix then.

Yeah I got timed out anyway lol, I don't know why I even bothered. I thought the maps were the same each run so figured if I couldn't find it this time I probably wouldn't be able to otherwise either

want something hard? Go with unmodded frame and weps on eso solo

Stop with this horrible argument, you're shooting yourself in the foot. The point of gaining frames and mods is to use it in a fight against something more grand and difficult as in something that's challenging. Simply having a more difficult time killing something because you do jack-all damage is a braindead and boring way of making the game "challenging".

  3. It's weird. My first couple times fighting him I easily won without knowing what I was doing, once with one partner and the other time with a few people. I come back by the time I'm at Ceres (I think) to farm parts and me and a full squad couldn't beat him after 30 minutes of trying. I don't get what's up with that but I noticed he was much higher level that time. Think he might just scale a ton and you have to be lucky with his level?

Just try and enjoy the game. If you don't, take a step back and see if it's you or the game. If it's the game, DE has made changes based on feedback in the past and will continue to do so. If it's you, there is literally nothing DE can do and you should find a game that you like better.

The thing is, you aren't. Actual, useful, constructive feedback requires details, explanations. What don't you like and why. Saying "I don't like this" is, perhaps, the least useful thing you could do.

You're completely ignoring the second part of his post. If no one showed their dislike for something, a company is just going to carry on and have no idea what's dropping their player count. It's never the player's job to give suggestions and feedback on how to improve the game if they have a complaint. It may help, but not everyone has a new idea . The odds they would actually take those suggestions are slim to none anyway. Very few companies actually do. But they do have an opportunity to see what a vast majority of players dislike if our voices are heard, which will steer them in an actual direction.

When hundreds of people are giving different feedback, there is no way they are going to be able to read through all that info which contains several different ideas. If thousands of people complain, it makes much more sense to see that there's a problem, and that they have to address it.

I see both sides of the argument...but my point is comes down to this single culminating experience.   In WoW,WothLK our guild never beat the final boss in the citadel in hardmode even though were we did not suck.   Over the years we did have a few world firsts.  It was entirely beatable if you were actually good.   All skills and rotation had to be on point or it was wipe.   The thing is...to pull this off people were literally adjusting work/sleep schedule to get "world first".  People who were the most dedicated and gear were not allowed in the attempts because such a "pure meta" was needed for those first kills.  After that, all WoW raids were pretty "meh" in terms of difficulty.  You could see the shift at Blizzard (also the time that Activision really started putting the screws into them).  Most of the time I could log in for a week or two of total time and be done with the entire expansion.   It is still a "fun experience" but if I was "hardcore" I would be highly disappointed.   At the same time I also recognized how many people NEVER got to experience the early raids "properly".

You make a good point, but I believe the shortcomings of other games like WoW could easily be avoided in Warframe. In WoW the main goal, of almost everyone interested in PVE content, is to raid. If you want to get the best gear or max out your character it's essential. The PvP in Warframe is pretty bad imo and I'm sure it's up to debate whether that's due to its implementation or the way the game plays, but we can easily ignore this factor for that reason.

Since the endgame isn't focused on PvP then, and because the core game becomes "too easy" as some say the further you progress, I think it'd be smart to add some supplemental endgame content with unique challenges. This content shouldn't contain any rewards that affects gameplay unless they are already available from farming or whatever other alternatives have you. Maybe there's a mod, blueprint, or material that's difficult to obtain and raiding simply gives it a higher drop chance - that's a possibility I can see. Better yet, there could be cosmetic rewards or similar which are actually worth getting. I understand there were already raids but I believe that they could be reintroduced and actually complement the game very well.

It blows my mind how someone can think that once you have reached end game and have every weapon/mod that you would still find content challenging. What would be the point in playing the game if this was all that was waiting for you? The whole idea of a game where you become stronger is that the content becomes easier as you progress.

If you want a challenge then stop using overpowered weapons/frames/mods, stop using forma, stop using catalysts and reactors. You can't become powerful while still complaining that the content is too easy, choose one or the other.

Yeah, the previous content should be easier, but players still want to seek a challenge that also rewards them for completing it. That's why games like World of Warcraft, or any other MMO, have the most difficult content at the end, like raids. You NEED the good gear to beat the most difficult content. That's why you're grinding to get the best items, so that you're able to beat the content. I hate the idea that in order to have a challenge you need to create one by hindering yourself. That should NOT be the case.

EDIT: What I should've also mentioned is that I think the problem boils down to the need for end game content that's challenging and rewarding.

I just want all of my PvE progress to carry over to PvP.

To proper PvP and not this stand-alone arcadish trash that is conclave.

PvP has always been and will always be THE TRUE end-game in any MMO.

In short: Bring good old Dark Sectors back.

I agree, PvP tends to be my favorite aspect of every game and in Warframe it's just poorly implemented. I hate seeing people say "PvP just doesn't work in Warframe." No, it's just not done right. People say the same thing about raids. Not everything Digital Extreme decides to add to the game is made perfectly and the only reason for them not being successful is not simply because they "don't fit".

Again......and even if FOR YOU it is a dumb exuse that it is a location on one of the BEGINNER planets, it still IS!

    Nothing less, nothing more.

You want a challange? This game has soooo many game modes where you can have or create a challenge.

There is a saying in our country. Help yourself, and only than, god will help you out too. (I'm not religious but it's a good one)

I see from where you are coming from and you all mighty old veterans want to have some special snowflake care from DE, but as I said.....go and pick the highest difficulty, and make yourself some modifiers. Like not using specific mods or weapons or damage types. Ect. So easy man so easy.

I'm a new player but I'd like to give an outside perspective coming from other games, specifically World of Warcraft.

And I'd like to basically say that this is a very weak argument. Having to CREATE a challenge to have a challenge is, generally, not great game design in a massive online game. Most players don't want to create a challenge when there is no extra reward to incentivize them. Half the fun is doing difficult content which doesn't result in a grindfest to obtain the best mods/items. Simply increasing enemy health and damage isn't a good way to do this, it's just lazy when that's the only way to make the game difficult. Maybe this isn't the right location in the game to have difficult content, but end game content should be somewhat difficult or at least offer a ramp up in difficulty to accommodate those seeking a challenge.

Yeah you've got a long way to go yet, you won't unlock access to the endgame stuff until much later. Trials were removed but we have got raid-like content you won't have access to yet and some higher content like Arbitrations.

Thanks, I did already acknowledge that I'm still real early into the game. But didn't do a great job expressing that my concern was partly due to spending several hours into the game to complete the starmap and then not have too much I'm interested in for the "endgame". At the very least I'd have fun playing until then! I enjoy the idea of looters but I kinda need a big challenge to work toward and try to overcome so that I stay motivated. Raiding generally covers that with a great challenge, strategy, more progression, teamwork etc.

  10. Just started a few days ago, I think the game is pretty fun! About to finish the Phobos junction. My only gripe with it is what seems to be the lack of some challenging end game content, and by that I'm mainly thinking of raiding (or Trials). I understand they were in the game but weren't played much, maybe they need some rework or better incentives. Coming from a game like World of Warcraft where the end game has plenty of progression and tiers of difficulty on raid, it's hard to imagine I'll want to play Warframe much more than a week. Seems like people like the endless grind and that's why they play though. I'm just afraid that's it and that there won't be an "endgame" with strategic and challenging content. Maybe I'm entirely wrong, but for me personally, that sort of aspect is missing from what's an otherwise incredible game.
